Former PETCO employee and rescue volunteer I am currently working part-time and unavailable 2pm to 7pm Monday- Friday. There is some flexibility, so please ask about your specific timing needs. About: . Work from home so pets will be with me the majority of the time. My two dogs typically sleep with me but also have additional dog beds. Have taken care of puppies up to 17 years of age & most sizes. Work from home so will be available for dogs majority of the time they stay. About: I have my own kitty who I pamper with wet and dry food everyday, yummy jerky treats and she’s spoiled with toys galore. I trim and file her nails since I have a sofa but she’s such a sweet girl she knows not to!! Love felines, really the amount of times I’ve walked into the local Home Depot and got sucked into hours of sitting on the floor to interact with them is, well, everytime I go in there. I really have no difficulty with cats and their varying personalities.

About: I’ve had cats my whole life other than when I was a student, so you’re getting experience above all else. I can drop in for feeds, play time, take them to vet appointments while you're at work or away, stay the night if they get separation anxiety, whatever they need! Even if they just need company for an hour, don’t hesitate to get in touch!
About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... I only want to take care of dogs that will want to play with my dog for the day:). Overnights an option but for now, just offering day care on here. thanks! I've worked at kennels from a young age and have had my own share of birds, mice, fish, hamsters, Guinea pigs, and chinchillas as well as dogs and cats. The home has only been without pets for around 7 months now and I would love to dedicate some of my time to people who need genuine love and care for their fur babies! I do not have a job, I am around all of the time! I can be there any time day or night! You name it. I do not have a fenced in yard, however all of the neighborhood doggies are very very friendly. I have a decent sized yard and live next to multiple fields and grassy areas.
About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. I know how to feed animals and care for them, can follow special instructions as I know they are important. As much as I would love to care for your fur baby at my home, I cannot.
About: ive had a couple of dog growing up in my childhood a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo.. id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. our backyard is fenced! i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, drop off would be ideal, if your close enough to walk to i can do that too! weekends are the only time id be able to pick up your pooch my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
About: Loving animals runs in my family! My mother is an animal rescue volunteer and growing up we owned 6 cats and one dog. There were always strays and foster pets going in and out of our home. I absolutely love animals and understand them very well. I know how to take care of them and love them the way they want to receive love. I currently have 1 Goldendoodle and 1 chocolate tabby cat in my home with fenced area and walking trails. About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

Wayne made time to do a meet-and-greet in his fenced yard prior to booking, to make sure everyone got along - we were so comfortable with the interaction and everyone became fast friends! We received photos and videos every day, and Wayne really loved Jake like his own. Wayne is very kind and clearly an animal lover, and the property is great - a safe, fenced yard and a long private path out back to walk. The only downside is that Jake had such a great time that misses his new friends now that he's home... but we'll definitely be reaching out again!”
About: Hi! My name is Maura and I live in Adams. I’ve lived and taught in the Berkshires for nineteen years, and I am looking to supplement my horse habit with another love of mine: pets! I have been pet sitting since childhood and have offered services in the Berkshires over the last few years for folks headed to music festivals or for a day on the slopes. I offer a variety of services including: dog walking, letting dogs out/play/cuddle time, cat and dog sitting in your home, house sitting, and small farm sitting.
