My experience with so many personalities and individual canines has given me the confidence to offer quality care for dogs in my area. I especially enjoy caring for senior dogs, and I can also support your type of positive training modification. I have been through many, many training classes with my dogs. I have 4 dogs that have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen awards. Recently, my dog Willow, has received her AKC Farm Dog title. My dog Summer, has earned her CD -obedience- and her NDD, draft title, her Farm Dog Award, as well as many other AKC titles.With the fosters that have come to me, I have worked with MANY types of canines - all sorts of shenanigans...you bet!! I plan my day around walking the dogs, depending on your pets needs, the weather, and your schedule, my day is flexible. Pet care is my top priority I cannot have pets staying at my home at this time, but hopefully in the near future! Right now I am offering in home drop in visits only.

About: I’ve always took a liking to animals and always had postive bonds with them. Over the years of growing up my grandfather owned several big dogs and cats. While others would shy away, not me I always helped out and didn’t mind watching them. I currently run an online business which has allowed me to have so much time for my daily clients. Due to my freedom I’m able to provide walks as often as every two hours or less for my puppies. I also get to spend my days cuddled up with my temporary babies. Caring for any pet at my home or others will be very similar I will need to know any notes and any restrictions for me and the dog. As I would give them my complete attention so that it’s a little vacation for them as well as subtracting feeling neglected.

About: I have taken care of my two black labs (one puppy & one senior) as well as the pets of neighbors, family, and friends. I am looking for some extra work during my seasonal breaks. For work, I am a ski lift operator in the winter and a climbing course attendant in the summer @ Bromley Mountain. I work seasonal jobs in the summer and winter months. Spring and Fall is my availability to walk, feed, play, and keep your dog engaged. I will make sure that the dog is given food, water, playtime, and attention at said times :). About: I have always loved animals as early as I can remember and I never been without a pet in my entire life. I started pet sitting when I was about eight years old. My first "job". I knew I wanted to be in the animal field as a child and so I became a veterinary technician and spent over a decade working in vet clinics (with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics). I've worked in grooming and boarding facilities and of course with pet sitting for decades now. I am skilled with scared pets, senior, and special-needs pets. Having been an animal nurse, I have a total soft spot for these special loves. I am comfortable administering medication - via SC or IM injections, SC fluids, oral, etc. I can do emergency care such as administering enemas for seizures or any needed first aid. If there is an emergency situation, there is an animal hospital in Newfane just a couple miles away. I understand the scariness of a "stranger's" care, but I will respect your relationship and follow your directions to a tee. I know that routine is a huge part of our pets' lives, and obviously you know your pet the best. I insist we do a free "meet and greet" to make sure we are both a fit with each other. I am also very comfortable with any pets, not just dogs and cats. In my vet tech career, I especially enjoyed working with snakes, iguanas, ferrets, and large birds. I would love to learn more about exotic animal husbandry and am not afraid to try. I would also enjoy taking care of farm animals. Some of my best childhood memories were taking care of the cows at my great uncle's dairy farm in Maine. I have availability every day. I currently work part-time in a local library a couple days a week, but I work only four-hour shifts, so I am still available every day. I am flexible and easy-going. I am also available all holidays.
