About: Lifelong dog person, I have cared for dozens of furry friends, mine and others. I currently have a 4 year old Shepherd Mix. Former PETCO employee and rescue volunteer I am currently working part-time and unavailable 2pm to 7pm Monday- Friday. There is some flexibility, so please ask about your specific timing needs. About: I grew up with animals my whole life and I’ve helped taken care of friends and families animals. I also used to work at a farm and help with those animals many times. About: Hi! As you can see, I'm not charging a lot (I set it to the minimum for Rover which is $15).... The main reason I am doing this is to get a playmate for my energetic Boston. He is very well behaved and friendly but needs dogs around to play with while I work. I am very safe with my dogs and make sure they are getting along and happy. I have a nice fenced-in area.... About: Parents Jessica and Philip are the responsible adults guaranteeing that your dog will get everything they need, but 13-year-old Josie is the primary caretaker of our dog guests. She is a very attentive, loving and engaged pet pal! Since we started on Rover as a summer job for Josie in 2023, we have hosted dogs of all sizes, energy levels and needs and she loved every single one of them. She gets up early every day (whether or not she is caring for a dog) so she often gives the pups their first walk of the day before anyone else has gotten out of bed. In spring of 2023 Josie rescued an Eastern Phoebe (songbird) that was pushed out of its nest and injured; she fed it dry cat food soaked in sugar water and set it free a week later as a robust young fledgling (see pictures). On weekends and school vacations, Josie has little to do other than care for your dog! We are early risers. Our calendar has school days blocked off, but we would consider boarding a dog during the school week if its needs match Josie's availability so please inquire. Both parents work mostly or fully from home and could manage a midday walk for a quiet dog. Jessica is an elementary teacher and education administrator who is accustomed to carrying great responsibility for the safety of precious smaller beings. She closely supervises Josie as the primary caregiver. Our home is in the woods with access to Mt. Toby trails so your pup will get to enjoy the outdoors several times a day. Sometimes dogs who are anxious in the busy neighborhoods of their homes are much calmer when they come to our quiet, wooded setting. We have a flock of chickens in an enclosed outdoor area.
“Mike and Laura cared for my pup like she was their own. My dog is a little anxious and overly excitable but Mike took that all in his stride. He sent photos throughout the day and I could quickly see she felt right at home. She had a long walk and lots of playtime with her favorite game of frisbee. The night before we had a big snow storm and Mike was excellent at keeping me up to date on the road conditions. I will be happy to go back another time.”
About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. About: I’ve taken care of dog of many sizes and health conditions, I have had a cat for 9ish years and have cared for friend and families dogs for years. I am a student, I am relatively free but lots of work to do! I like to go on walks already! I am able to be flexible. About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. My home was completely childproof when I moved in and it’s so far worked for dogs as well. Huge open field located next to the house available for dogs who like to run as well.

Any needs they have, I will take care of them all - from simple company when you're at work, to walks, giving meds and overnight stays! I have experience training puppies too, from potty training to the classic "stay", "sit", "come", "leave" etc. commands. I have a large dog myself so size of your pet is no issue. Anything you're unsure about, shoot me a message! I work full time at a school but am free weekdays after 2pm until around 10pm. On weekends I am free from Friday afternoon until Monday morning so I can do overnight stays too if needed. “We left our high-energy puppy with John for an extended stay over the holidays. Ozzy had a wonderful time with John and other resident and visiting dogs. We loved the daily pictures and occasional videos, and Ozzy loved the vigorous walks and the active playtime in the backyard! I know Ozzy would be excited to return to John's for another stay.”
About: I have owned and cared for a variety of dogs for my entire life. I have cared for larger groups of dogs of all kinds, and have cared for dogs with some special needs. I am very active and have extensive knowledge of dog friendly hikes in the area. My schedule is flexible, and I can generally make whatever your pet needs work! I have my own high energy pup, so daily hikes, play time and training fit right into our routine. I have a fenced in yard, and a pet friendly home. Although our dog does not use one, we have crates available. Walks can be on or off leash depending on your dogs skills anf your own comfortability.

About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. We have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. We have a large property (about 30 acres) surrounded by woods with lots of room for your dog to run and explore. We also live near some great hiking trails.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. I am used to dealing with a more shy dog on a regular basis. Hope to hear from you!
