About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. My partner and I have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. About: I volunteered for 1.5 years at a shelter in Montana and most recently worked at a doggie daycare/boarding facility as a handler and trainer for approximately a year. I personally have been a dog owner since 2013 (not including family dogs growing up). I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and demeanors. I have extensive hands-on training in reading dog body language. I am particularly well-versed in building a good relationship with nervous/fearful dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own pet! I always respect a dog’s boundaries and never do anything that they are uncomfortable with. I am a very confident handler and that helps in building a trusting relationship with a new dog. The most important thing with any dog is patience and not forcing them into a situation that could be stressful for them. I have successfully trained two dogs that I adopted with behavioral issues including reactivity to other dogs & people, and resource guarding. I believe in positive reinforcement ALWAYS. If a correction is needed I use a firm but calm voice, and praise when the inappropriate behavior stops. You can rest assured that I will never do anything to harm your beloved pet.

About: I have always loved animals as early as I can remember and I never been without a pet in my entire life. I started pet sitting when I was about eight years old. My first "job". I knew I wanted to be in the animal field as a child and so I became a veterinary technician and spent over a decade working in vet clinics (with dogs, cats, birds, and exotics). I've worked in grooming and boarding facilities and of course with pet sitting for decades now. I am skilled with scared pets, senior, and special-needs pets. Having been an animal nurse, I have a total soft spot for these special loves. I am comfortable administering medication - via SC or IM injections, SC fluids, oral, etc. I can do emergency care such as administering enemas for seizures or any needed first aid. If there is an emergency situation, there is an animal hospital in Newfane just a couple miles away. I understand the scariness of a "stranger's" care, but I will respect your relationship and follow your directions to a tee. I know that routine is a huge part of our pets' lives, and obviously you know your pet the best. I insist we do a free "meet and greet" to make sure we are both a fit with each other. I am also very comfortable with any pets, not just dogs and cats. In my vet tech career, I especially enjoyed working with snakes, iguanas, ferrets, and large birds. I would love to learn more about exotic animal husbandry and am not afraid to try. I would also enjoy taking care of farm animals. Some of my best childhood memories were taking care of the cows at my great uncle's dairy farm in Maine. I have availability every day. I currently work part-time in a local library a couple days a week, but I work only four-hour shifts, so I am still available every day. I am flexible and easy-going. I am also available all holidays.
About: Growing up in Vermont on a farm, I have been exposed to animals my entire life. I have been taking care of family and friends dogs, horses, cats, guinea pigs, camels (yes, camels) since I was allowed to leave the driveway on my bike as a child. Since leaving high school I took on a professional equestrian career with Wichita riding academy working with rehabilitating abused/ off the track race horses. I have just recently moved to Denver with a fenced in yard and lots of space. I have a dog of my own that is my entire pride and joy who loves spending time with other dogs. Having a fenced in yard, it’s very helpful and handy to those pups with bladder issues to go in and out of the house as needed. About: I've been around animals my whole life and currently have two pet goats who we spoil like dogs. My partner and I have 30 acres of beautiful land surrounded by woods, which is a perfect haven for running, fetch, and all sorts of outdoor shenanigans. I work remotely from home with a flexible schedule. I typically work a few hours in the morning, and then am outside working on projects and playing with the animals all day. About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. About: ive had a couple of dogs growing up in my childhood, a sweet old black lab and a super crazy dingo.. in my free time after school and during summer i used to walk them, no amount of walking could satisfy my dingo..! id have her pull my bike to get all her energy out since we didnt have any closed in areas she could run off in.. ( i dont do this anymore! i realize its not very safe! she absolutely loved it for sure though) i love pups big and small old and energetic theyre all very unique and id love some new friends to get me out of the house. id ask you beforehand of course if youd be okay with them swimming, theres a pond i can bring them to after walking to cool off at. i have two cats, so id like to know how your dog reacts around small creatures, if they cant be in contact i can always but them into a room while the dog is over. most likely theyd be outside keeping me company! lots of shade and id keep em well hydrated and happy :3 i currently have been on a job hunt since what feels like forever, my schedule is very. very open.. since i dont have a car, but I have an electric scooter thanks to a helpful couple I babysat for! drop off would be ideal, if youre close enough to walk to i can do that too! my cats get their waters filled and cleaned almost daily, lots of love of course and are very spoiled. i dont have any dogs at the moment, so of course id love to chat about what youd expect and need for your lovely pup! im good with communication and friendly, special needs id be extra attentive to. im very good at remembering small things, though id still write em down incase!
