About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! I have time to get your pets outside and active, and to give them lots of attention. I’m an extremely reliable, punctual person. I’m also quite tidy, should you need an overnight sitter, your place will be almost identical to how you left it.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: Our home has been a foster refuge since the 90's, I have had the privilege of assisting hundreds of pups and many cats find their loving homes. My experience with so many personalities and individual canines has given me the confidence to offer quality care for dogs in my area. I especially enjoy caring for senior dogs, and I can also support your type of positive training modification. I have been through many, many training classes with my dogs. I have 4 dogs that have earned their AKC Canine Good Citizen awards. Recently, my dog Willow, has received her AKC Farm Dog title. My dog Summer, has earned her CD -obedience- and her NDD, draft title, her Farm Dog Award, as well as many other AKC titles.With the fosters that have come to me, I have worked with MANY types of canines - all sorts of shenanigans...you bet!! I plan my day around walking the dogs, depending on your pets needs, the weather, and your schedule, my day is flexible. Pet care is my top priority I cannot have pets staying at my home at this time, but hopefully in the near future! Right now I am offering in home drop in visits only.

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. On a daily basis, I work with dogs of many breeds, sizes, temperaments, and unique quirks, and I’m confident handling nearly all dogs. I’m experienced in the proper use of training tools such as prong and starmark collars, slip leads, and ecollars. At home, I share my life with four dogs and five cats, further reinforcing my comfort and confidence in multi-pet environments. I’m also comfortable administering medications when needed, and nail trims are available upon request for an additional fee. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being are always my top priorities. If you choose me, you can rest assured your furry family member will be in capable, caring hands I am currently only available in the evenings after 5pm through the week and all day Fri-Sun.
