“Joseph took such good care of our Annie dog! You are immediately put at ease with Joseph's gentle demeanor and you can tell that he really loves animals. He was patient with her feeding since she tends to have a hard time while we are away. He sent pictures each day of their walks. Annie was tired and happy when we picked her up! We'll definitely ask Joseph to watch her again!”

About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
“Ashley and her family are the best doggie caretakers! Our dog gets plenty of exercise in a large fenced in area and gets hugs and cuddles when she comes inside. They are such a loving family and I highly recommend them!”

“Samantha was great with my large pup (who can be a handful at times) and he seemed to have a great time! Would absolutely recommend her for any of your boarding needs.”

“Michelle was terrific! Ellie stayed with her for Thanksgiving weekend and came home happy and tired! She was well-loved and Michelle kept us updated with pics and videos… and was super responsive and proactive before and during the entire experience. Thank you Michelle!”

“Our senior dog Hank had a wonderful time with Deirdre. She took excellent care of him and gave us lots of updates with pictures and videos. It seemed like he had a fantastic time. I really appreciated that she was so kind and thoughtful concerning his advanced age. We’re very happy to have finally found such an outstanding person to look after our old pal while we’re away. Thank you Deirdre!”

“Steve, Keely, and their dog Sabra were warm and welcoming to Nyla. They were responsive each time we reached out, sent plenty of updates, and were diligent in following the care instructions we provided. We were very comforted that our dog was so well cared for by them and would recommend them to anyone in need of a sitter.”

“Sean was great with our 9 year old aussie/corgi. We travelled from Canada and visited Vins Bird rehab Centre while Sean took care of our dog "Willow". Sean responded quickly and was easy to communicate with. He sent updates, pictures, location, and timings for return. Willow had a great time under his care. I wouldn't hesitate to contact Sean again.”

About: I have volunteered at animal shelters in WA and worked alongside animal behavioralists to read canine and feline body language to gauge interests, anxiety, and pain levels. I love being able to help my client’s animals reach relaxation without being over stimulated. I’m versed in enrichment activities that alleviate stress and help the animals reconnect with their playful, trusting side! I love to make animals feel like they have a new trusted friend while their pet parents are away and to provide care that makes their owners feel like they're with family. I live near Hanover and have reliable transportation. I have no conflicting agenda items or holidays in the near future. I do gig work to help support my best friend going to Dartmouth and have a flexible, open schedule. I try my best to plan outings with pets when the weather is best for their paws and especially if the dog is a breed prone to heat or breathing issues. I have had animals all my life of various breeds, ages, temperament, and unique needs. I have knowledge and experience through my animal shelter work on what silent pain signals or distress can look like in dogs and cats. I've administered medications before but would prefer to let the animal get to know me before providing injections. My preference is to have a meet and greet with your pet(s) ahead of the scheduled outing so they may acclimate to me and to have a brief in-person discussion to go over the scope of the service you wish to see.
“This is the second time Samantha took care of my kitty while I was out of town, and she did a wonderful job. She goes above and beyond to make sure my shy girl feels safe and comfortable. Will always rebook with her!”

“Maria provided such great care of my cats. Her love of and enthusiasm for cats is so clear, and she wanted to make sure my cats had a good experience while she was visiting (eg asking about what specifically they enjoy doing for play during visits). She gave detailed information about each visit. I had great peace of mind being on vacation knowing she was caring for them!”

“Julia is wonderful! She has been extremely thoughtful to our cat’s particular personality, habits, and behaviors as well as respectful to our household preferences on multiple occasions while we were away from home. She’s extremely responsive and even stepped up last minute after a death in the family that necessitated unexpected travel. She’s always ensured our cat is well cared for and extremely happy when we return home. I highly recommend her!”

“Caitlin was prompt and attentive. I appreciated the daily photos. Max looked relaxed and content. It was great to have our senior kitty looked after in our home, since he doesn’t like to travel at all.”

“Cyan was an amazing sitter. She came by our house before we scheduled her to meet our pup. Was very responsive and easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend her to anyone who needs a sitter.”

“Allaire took great care of our 3 cats when we were away. She even took our oldest cat for a walk (he loves to go out on the leash) which was above and beyond. The 3 cats were happy when we got home which is always such a relief. Thanks Allaire!”
About: I have always had multiple pets, dogs and cats. I currently have a black lab named bear and a black cat named Rosie. I also have house and babysat for a number of families. I love hanging out with animals and am known to be super attentive and responsible. I work part time in the summer and often either work a morning or night shift, not typically all day and have time to play with your pups! (Or cats) I will be sure to spend ample time with your dogs outside either within a fenced area or on a leash and will make sure your house and pup are left the same way I found them.

About: I have worked in veterinary medicine for over 6 years and have been a pet owner most of my life. I have had a hospice dog and have a soft spot for senior animals. I currently have a Siberian husky, a husky/shepard mix and 2 cats! I currently have a flexible schedule that allows me to be available as needed. Animals are a significant part of my life and I look forward to helping you and your family. I am available for dog walks, drop ins, or pet sitting. I have 2 dogs and 2 cats as part of our family. They are definitely spoiled but also well trained. I take pet care very seriously, every animal deserves respectful and loving care. My dogs require a lot of activity due to their breeds which has given me a lot of experience with high energy, high needs dogs.

About: I have taken care of my sisters cat on numerous occasions. I have also extensively experience with an older cat where I watched him and his dog brother :) I love animals and love to spend as much time as I can with them!
“Kimberly was awesome on visits with our giant dogs. She is super friendly, dogs loved her, she came when requested, shared time spent, and left photos. Very pleased and will definitely book again.”

About: I’ve been caring for pets of all energy levels and ages for over 10 years, ranging from energetic puppies to anxious seniors. I’ve had my own dogs for 15 years, and I love spending time with all pets whenever I get the chance! I’m also happy to care for cats and/or exotic pets. If you're looking for an attentive, reliable, and gentle pet sitter, I'm your person! I'm currently residing in the Upper Valley, and I work daily as a high school teacher. I can provide check-ins and walks during the afternoon. I’m not able to keep animals in my own home, but I am more than happy to stay in your home overnight to keep your pets comfortable.
About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. I love exercising animals as much as it is tolerated by them. I currently work per diem as a staff nurse in Lebanon NH which gives me a lot of flexibility to care for pets. I am happy to abide by your house rules and expectations for your pet(s). I enjoy walks to dog parks, trails, playing in fenced yards and practicing obedience and tricks!

“Sean is an excellent dog daycare provider. He is personable, kind and very reliable. Hamish loved not only Sean, but also Sean’s family — which includes two Labradoodles, Penny and Finn, Hamish’s daily playmates around the family’s generous off-road property.”

“Enzo loved his time at Joe’s for daycare. He came home super tired and played with the other pups quite a bit it seems. Lots of photos and info on his Rover card was awesome!”

“Kevin watched our pug for two days while we attended the Quechee Balloon Festival. He was incredibly flexible with our plans and let us stay out much longer than originally planned. Our pup had a good time, evidenced by the 2nd day when we dropped him off and he ran right to Kevin! The other dogs were a bit noisy and inquisitive but settled right down so it wasn’t a problem. Kevin sent a few photos and video which we much appreciated. If we were in the area again, I wouldn’t hesitate to leave our dog with Kevin once again.”

“Cannot say enough good things about Sarah, Ben, and their adorable pup Bean! They took such good care of our puppy while we skied. She got to play all day with another dog and snuggle in between! She came home to us exhausted and happy :) Sarah and Ben sent updates throughout the day and included lots of photos which we loved! Could not recommend them enough!!”

“Deirdre was terrific. Our dog, Riley seemed happy and tired after all day with Deirdre. We are traveling, and have had significant car and trailer problems. Deirdre has been BEYOND helpful and flexible with last-minute schedule changes.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. I worked at a doggy day care facility for 5 years and gained a ton of experience with dogs of all sized and temperaments! “We cannot say enough good things about Sarah and Ben! They took amazing care of our girls and we got many updates with pictures and they looked right at home. Their dog Bean is so cute and our girls loved playing with him too! We were so happy knowing our girls were in great hands!!”

“Christina and Jason were great with my girls. I received pictures of them daily along with descriptions of their daily activities. They kept my girls busy and happy. I would highly recommend them.”
“Jessica took good care of Bella! Bella was shy and nervous and but Jessica was sweet and patient with her. She communicated well and and was easy to make arrangements with! I would definitely have Bella stay with her again.”

“Gwynn is amazing. She paid attention to exactly the attention (exercise, etc.) that Martie needed and even sent us pictures of their adventures. Martie was exhausted when we got home!”

“Greta provided great care for our independent minded and sometimes mischievous husky mix and was willing to meet us elsewhere for the drop off and pickup since we had some challenging transportation logistics. Good to know we have a great option for Moon!”
