About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. About: If my rates are an obstacle in caring for your pet then I’m happy to provide a sliding scale and have a discussion upon request. Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. About: I have always had multiple pets, dogs and cats. I currently have a black lab named bear and a black cat named Rosie. I also have house and babysat for a number of families. I work part time in the summer and often either work a morning or night shift, not typically all day and have time to play with your pups! About: I have had dogs my whole life and am happy to care for your doggo. I currently have a 1 year old Golden Retriever and am well versed in both puppy and senior care. I am a full time teacher on summer break, so have availability to fit your needs over the summer. I’m a full time teacher on summer break, so have plenty of time to give your dog the attention they deserve! I am home most of the day with occasional trips to the gym/store. I have a fenced yard and available sidewalks/trails for walks. I do have a 1 year old energetic Golden Retriever who is very friendly (maybe too friendly for some dogs) and a 2 year old Persian kitty who is skeptical of new animals
