About: I have taken care of all sorts of animals from farm animals to house pets. I have owned many dogs and cats in the past and now. I currently have 2 huskies and 2 cats of which I completely take care of. I also have work experience when I had a job in Texas working at a doggy daycare, I learned basic training methods along with gaining the proper experience to understand dog behavior. I have a relatively open schedule, I do work two other part time jobs one being mostly night time shift and the other is whenever I choose to work. Please know I try my best to help anyone even last minute requests, but sometimes I may not be available if asked to late! I always am happy to try to be available for everyone. This makes me pretty much 24/7 available, but it’s usually best if you schedule at least a few days to a week in advance. Prices for all of my services are not negotiable, depending on the service/details. To ease your comfort I offer a free meet-and-greet visit before any paid service is handled. This isn’t required before services, and I’m usually confident enough to go without one, but it can help answer any questions you have and ensure your pet is comfortable with me. If issues were to arise while I take care of your pets their safety is the first priority to me. I will be gentle and patient with any pet cared for.

“Simply put, Julian and his wife are amazing. I came in with great expectations and he met them and then some. They took care of my two puppies over the weekend and I think my puppies actually like them more than us now. We met up with Julian prior to the reservation to check out his place. His place is super neat and organized. Hardwood floors are a plus because they look good and my dogs prefer it since it's what they're on at home. The main room was spacious, properly kept at a good temperature, and smelled of nice things. It would be a great place to be tranquil and do yoga or something. As for Julian and his wife, they are genuinely good people from what I am able to tell. Not once did we feel weirded out or anxious that we were leaving our pups in bad, inexperienced hands. They kept constant communication, took photos from a real camera, and updated me accordingly. I will admit, I don't even want to write this review as I am afraid he will be too popular and not have time to watch our dogs again!”

I do want to also add that I have had 3 back surgeries within the last year so I am more able to take care of lower energy pets at the moment. I can walk dogs but it may be better if they aren’t heavy leash pullers! When caring for pets in clients’ homes, I am always respectful of house customs, rules and more. This led me to earning a pre-veterinary science degree from the University of Vermont followed by a job working at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists' small animal hospital. About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. I currently have a puppy who could accompany me on walks or drop-ins if you think your dog could benefit from seeing a play buddy. If not, I can do some quality 1:1 time with your pooch.

“Our 6 year old GSD, Flynn, has been with Chad since he was 4 months old. Up until a few months ago in a doggie day care, and now spending 2 days a week with him in a more 1:1 setting. Chad's calm, nurturing demeanor and unwavering patience and consistency with our often anxious and always energetic guy makes such a huge different for our family. Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. All of this being said, I think the biggest recommendation that we could give would be that whether it was at day care drop off or Chad pulling into our driveway for a visit, Flynn can never get to Chad fast enough. For us- that says it all!”

About: I have been an animal lover and owner for over 30 years. My 15 year old Lab is truly my best friend. He is used to other animals and very laid back. I provide lots of patience, affection and exercise for all animals. We go out 3-4 times per day for walks and potty breaks. Always active and attentive. Please let me know about anything your pet needs to feel safe and happy. The more information the better. I can handle separation anxiety and other behavioral issues but prefer to know ahead of time. Please make sure your pet is treated for fleas/ticks. If your baby has a history of indoor urination, please provide diapers/belly bands. Happy to accommodate all ages and stages. I truly enjoy the company of animals and also like to walk often. Being in the park and exercising helps lift my spirits. My dog has improved my life in many ways and he makes me a better human. Pets are given a cool, calm and comfy environment. Plenty of walks and free access to filtered water. (Treats also, if owners request/permit). I am almost obsessively neat and always treat my customers’ homes with respect. My goal is to be as unobtrusive as possible. Scrupulous about keeping your home secure while you are away. I ask that you leave clear and detailed instructions to maintain a safe & secure home. Also, for long term services, I do not mind bringing in mail, putting trash/recycle bins out.

About: I currently work full time as a veterinary technician and have years of experience with all types of animals. I also grew up on a farm and have experience with most farm animals. I throughly enjoy pet sitting and spoil them as if they are my own. My favorite part of the job is meeting new people, their pets & all the different personalities i get to enjoy. I’m also comfortable administrating medications. My schedule is pretty consistent each week. Each work day is typically 8 hours long but some days are shorter than others. This goes for while on walks, adventures or even just bathroom breaks. As well as any sickness that may come up while you’re gone. Being a veterinary technician, i can realize a sickness sooner than others and know the right course of action.

“Simply put, Julian and his wife are amazing. I came in with great expectations and he met them and then some. They took care of my two puppies over the weekend and I think my puppies actually like them more than us now. We met up with Julian prior to the reservation to check out his place. His place is super neat and organized. Hardwood floors are a plus because they look good and my dogs prefer it since it's what they're on at home. The main room was spacious, properly kept at a good temperature, and smelled of nice things. It would be a great place to be tranquil and do yoga or something. As for Julian and his wife, they are genuinely good people from what I am able to tell. Not once did we feel weirded out or anxious that we were leaving our pups in bad, inexperienced hands. They kept constant communication, took photos from a real camera, and updated me accordingly. I will admit, I don't even want to write this review as I am afraid he will be too popular and not have time to watch our dogs again!”

About: I’ve had dogs around my entire life! Currently I have two pups of my own, a black lab and a Belgian Malinois! Whatever needs you have I’m confident I can handle! I currently work full time but have a flexible schedule to help accommodate, I do not work weekends. I work in St. Albans so I have a wide range between my home and work place. I live on the lake in Franklin so my dogs get plenty of outdoor time! Between swimming and daily walks. I have lots of enrichment activities for pups as my Malinois requires physical and mental activities! I crate one of our dogs so I can accommodate any type of care for your pet.

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”
