“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. Therefore I have a very flexible schedule, and can make all the time necessary to keep any pets entertained and well taken care of! I have a very sweet four year old male English Cream Golden Retriever, named Nigel, who loves friends more than anything (other than treats) and will be my permanent doggie daycare assistant. We have a large 2.5 acre property that is partially fenced, with large yard space to run in, and wooded nature trails in the back for walks and lots of sniffs. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: Hello!! I have two furry babies of my own ( a lab and husky) and they both have unlimited energy! My husband and I are a very active couple. We have a large fenced in yard at our home! I love watching a variety of dogs ( small to large) and both of my dogs love to play with other dogs! For the dogs I have watched, I send daily photos and updates as needed. You’re dog would get the utmost attention here( nightly cuddles and daily activities) to reduce stress while traveling! If you have any questions or concerns you are welcome to ask! I make my own schedule and my husband works from home! He is always home to care for the needs of our dogs and yours! I always take the dogs out and for a walk in the morning and then feed them. My husband will take them out intermittently throughout the day as needed. Typically when I come home we will go for another walk
About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. About: I’ve taken care of and had my own dogs and cats for over 20 years. My current dogs are 2 and 9 so I have a wide range of recent experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’m a therapist in training currently so I’m very pro communication and I’m happy to set expectations with you early and keep lines of communication open throughout my time with your pet. My schedule is very flexible especially over the summer, I’m currently studying for my PhD and can pop over for a walk, a feeding, a bathroom break, or just a visit. Especially this summer without classes I can work with you and your schedule. I have two dogs and a cat myself. I think I love them probably more than anything else in this world. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard, our dogs are walked 2x per day and have bones and lick mats several times per week. About: I’ve been an animal lover ever since I was younger. I grew up with cats which is where my love for animals began. The independence of cats but also the big role they play in a family is what makes them amazing. They each have their own personality which I enjoy seeing come out. I have a yard that my dogs love to just hang out and smell all the smells. We also love adventuring on local trails in the area.

About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

Did not hesitate for a minute at taking on our active and kooky husky mix, sent constant updates - clearly he was loved like a member of the household and so happy in her care. “Let me just start by saying my dog is kind of a handful with seperation anxiety and a tendency to be pretty vocal, it has been hard to find a sitter that is patient and understanding enough that I also trust with my pup. Kimberly is by far the best dogsitter we’ve ever had, she went above and beyond for my Tony and clearly is very experienced with dogs. He has never been so happy and calm when I’ve picked him up anywhere else, she provided daily pictures/videos/updates and was a breeze to communicate with. Would recommend to anyone and everyone, could not have had a better experience than we did with Kimberly!”

About: As a dog owner myself I fully understand how important they are to your family. My husband & I have been in our “pet parents” era for 5 years now, so I’m sure you can only imagine how spoiled our Georgia girl is. When you hire me, you’re getting someone who’s going to treat your dog exactly as their own. I want to see their little wiggly butts & all of their cute tricks when they are in my care. I always offer a meet & greet so I can learn about their dislikes/likes , favorite toys and scratches & all of the cute things you love about them and or maybe naughty things they do before I take care of them so I can offer a safe & familiar environment! I have 10+ years of experience with drop ins, day care & dog walking. Rover has given me the opportunity to make new furry friends & to continue being active outside during all 4 of VT seasons. I work remote Monday through Friday and it gives me the flexibility to take breaks when needed to be present for your animals in your absence. I have a huge back yard where I live and a very sweet dog named Georgia that loves to cuddle & go for daily walks. We are a very pet friendly home. Dogs will be tucked in while sleeping.
