About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

About: Experience taking care of many animals including goats, chickens, horses, bunnies, pigs, guinea pigs, and dogs of all sizes! Experience with both small, large, and all dogs in between! I have been a long time user of Rover for my own dog Ham for many years! I have had such a great experience using Rover when I am traveling out of state that I want to give you and your dog that same experience whenever you need to travel and leave your dog behind. I have one dog Ham who is 9 years old and male he is neutered, up to date on all vaccines, and takes regular monthly heart worm and flea medicine. I will only accept booking that I have "Meet and Greet" to see how they get along with Ham and make sure they are comfortable and confident together. I can accept 2 dogs per night (will accommodate for repeat client) Once or twice a day walks for up to an hour (weather permitting), your dog will be comfortable, happy, and well cared for while your gone . Your dog must be dog friendly, vaccinated and flea treated. We have plenty of rooms in our house and a fenced in backyard for them to explore around. They are welcome to sleep anywhere at the house that makes them the most comfortable. I am happy to travel to meet and greet and can also do pickup at your place for a fee. About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid and puppy friendly if sitting happens in my home. I am also great with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting or drop in visits! The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once...and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children and puppies. I have two dog-loving kids under age 5, and we have a super sweet lab puppy, so she is currently small, but growing fast! I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days if you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids and my own puppy). I've always loved my pets as members of the family and I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We allow our puppy on furniture, but I will of course follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

Flynn's 2 days a week with Chad mean that he is a calmer, happier, less anxious dog at home. About: I've had pets my entire life. For over 40 years, I've raised puppies and kitties into well-behaved, loved members of my family. I have some experience giving medicine and training. I work from home 4 days of the work week and even on the day that I’m away, pets are never left alone for more than 5-6 hours a day, which is rare at that. I walk our dog daily and there is plenty of time to go out and play in a fenced yard multiples times during the day. As mentioned above, we lets our dogs get plenty of fresh air and exercise and they are rarely alone for long stretches at a time. If I'm taking care of a pet in their own home, those pets can get walks and regular visits based on their needs.

About: I’ve taken care of and had my own dogs and cats for over 20 years. My current dogs are 2 and 9 so I have a wide range of recent experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’m a therapist in training currently so I’m very pro communication and I’m happy to set expectations with you early and keep lines of communication open throughout my time with your pet. My schedule is very flexible especially over the summer, I’m currently studying for my PhD and can pop over for a walk, a feeding, a bathroom break, or just a visit. Especially this summer without classes I can work with you and your schedule. I have two dogs and a cat myself. I think I love them probably more than anything else in this world. In our home we love and respect our pets making sure they feel comfortable and confident and safe. We live in a quiet neighborhood with a fenced in back yard, our dogs are walked 2x per day and have bones and lick mats several times per week. I think mutual respect between us and pets is incredibly important and I always want them to live a life as full as possible.

About: My name is Amelia and I am in college studying animal sciences. I have experience with dogs walking, cat and fish care, and would love to help you and your pets out in any way I can! I’m currently a full time student, so I can pop in and out mid morning and in between classes throughout the week. I will make sure the animal gets a good chunk of my time and attention and will make sure not to rush them. It’s important the animal is safe and stimulated while I am with them. If I am dropping in to feed or take care of your pet I will ensure a clean environment and that they are enriched until a caretaker returns. If I am taking your pet on a walk I will cater to the dogs temperament and endurance. The pet’s experience (and their bathroom/food needs) is optimized.
About: I’ve been an animal lover ever since I was younger. I grew up with cats which is where my love for animals began. The independence of cats but also the big role they play in a family is what makes them amazing. They each have their own personality which I enjoy seeing come out. When I moved back home I lived in a house with no animals which is what got me into fostering. I fostered a dog for a year. By the time that year mark hit I decided he was meant to be with me, so now I’m a proud dog mom. I couldn’t imagine living in a home without a pet. I have experience with administering medicine, training and dog introductions. I love to bring dogs on adventures outside. My dog is trained off leash and prefers that when in an area where it is allowed. I am currently a bartender. This means I work late hours, normally from 4:30-9pm. Please note that night time walks would not happen until 9:00-9:30pm Tuesdays and Thursdays-Saturdays. I am looking for both long-term set schedules and anything in between. I have a yard that my dogs love to just hang out and smell all the smells. We also love adventuring on local trails in the area.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats all throughout my childhood and have taken care of a couple dogs full time over the years. I am experienced mostly with dogs but I am familiar with cat care. I work nights in the Burlington area so I can work around most schedules and prefer afternoon work for walking. If you need house visits I can work with you on a good schedule. I will follow your directions to a T and will transport animals as needed for walks/hikes. I will treat them as my own as I don’t have any pets and miss having animals around.

About: I will provide a on-the-ready daycare/check-in service. Check in's will include play time engagement, spending time with them if they have been alone, walks, administer medicine if need be, and overall quality check in. I can provide these services at a moments notice with being local to Burlington, and can also provide these services over an extended period of time to suite your schedule. Daily check in's can last anywhere from 30 mins to one hour, depending on your needs. I work full time but my schedule is flexible. I have watched and cared for multiple family friends cats and dogs since my teens, as well as now helping colleagues watch their pets while traveling out of town. My experience ranges from the simple check in's; walks, playtime, feeding - to administering shots, ear spray, tic and flea medicine, etc. I currently work a hybrid schedule Mon-Thurs in office and half-day Fridays from home, moving back to full-day Friday's from home come fall. Even when in office, my schedule is flexible and I am out of work by 4pm, and can step out quick if need be throughout the day, making sudden pop-in visits easy for me. And making scheduled visits even easier. I live on a quieter street and my apartment is set back from the road, giving peace of mind when out on walks or in the yard. Crating is always an option if you are more comfortable and familiar with that.

She can go for a short day stay, but overnight would be stressful. Brooke was kind and understanding of her needs and issues. We did an overnight trial, and she kept me posted and sent me pictures with reports of how she was doing.
