“My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”

Professionally, I was vet assistant at an animal clinic before returning to farm animal work. At the clinic I learned the basics of animal health care and I learned how to properly handle dogs and cats. Throughout the last twelve years I’ve farm-sat and pet-sat for numerous friends and family members! In the last year I worked at a doggy daycare and worked groups of 11-12 large dogs. I also worked in group of 15+ small dogs and "solos" (highly dog aggressive dogs). Working in that environment took me to the next level of understanding cues and dog behavior. I learned to advocate for dogs, look for health and safety warning signs and how to manage group dynamics. I am currently a *human* nurse and making time for animals because that is where I feel I really come alive. :) I believe that animals are part of the family and I will treat them like so. I have basic experience with dog training and I personally believe that dogs thrive in structured and predictable environments. I love exercising and having fun with dogs, too! I have availability to help you with your pup or cat! Depending on the health of your pet I will socialize and exercise your pet's body and mind and of course offer any snuggles that are welcomed. She spent about an hour here each time and in addition to food, water, litter Samantha spent time with Cameo and kept her company. She played with Cameo and brushed her and Cameo responded with love. I adopted Cameo six months ago and she has gradually warmed to her new life with me. When I returned from being away Cameo was even a little more relaxed and friendly than before I left. About: My parents and friends know they can rely on me for animal sitting. Ive taken care of dogs and cats consistently for 15 years. I have experience with all sized dogs for I’ve helped train my German Shepard and toy poodle alongside with my mom. I am going to be home until mid June but will back to animal in early August. I am very flexible with time as long as I am scheduled 3 days in advanced. The closest main road to my house is 3/4 of mile so cars won’t be an issue. I love trail walking and running which sometimes my dogs will accompany me; there are a lot of no car friendly trails to venture on. I do it all the time with my German Shepard and my neighbors German Shepard who are dog friendly. At home it is easy to give the dogs space to themselves for I have my own room where they can eat and sleep.

About: Besides working at a dog groomers business as a dog bather, I have had pets all throughout my life and absolutely love being around animals! I am currently working at SORO elementary school. I work 8-3 but am looking to add on pet-sitting again since I miss working with animals! In my own home, I treat my pets as if they are my children. About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.

Your pup will come home happy and tired, perfect for the snuggles you want without making them tired! Get the fun without the work! I am so excited to meet your furry friend and make them my friend too. I have experience with puppies, older dogs, active dogs, and calm dogs. All dogs deserve to have a good long walk- but don’t forget about the sniffing! That’s important too! I am open to any suggestions and whatever way you want your dog to be cared for!
