“Erica was wonderfully patient and kind with our elderly Chihuahua, Suzie, while we explored local attractions while traveling through the area. Suzie is typically anxious in new situations but she looked relaxed in the pictures Erica sent to us throughout her stay and was calm and happy when we picked her up. We are extremely thankful for Erica’s focused attention and compassion with our senior girl.”
About: I am an experienced pet sitter and animal lover! I grew up with a childhood dog whom I loved very much. When she passed, I began dog sitting often because I adore dogs so much I am a current Dartmouth senior with a very flexible day-to-day schedule. I have an active lifestyle and would love to add your dog into it! I live right next to several trail systems which I regularly use. I also live next to an extremely large, unfenced green space + a small front yard.
“I am truly grateful to have found Lexi to care for my dog, Vizhna. I need to board V for 11 weekends over a nine-month period because I'm going to school away from home. Vizhna gets anxious in new situations, so it was important for me to find one person who could do most or all of the weekends, instead of finding a different sitter for each weekend. I contacted 14 pet-sitters on Rover that didn't work out--before I contacted Lexi. Lexi is calm, competent, thoughtful, caring, and detail-oriented, and Vizhna was able to relax and enjoy herself while staying with Lexi and her family. That was a huge weight off my heart, to find a situation where V will not feel anxious while she's away from home--and in fact to find a second (temporary) home for V. I highly recommend Lexi for any pet care you need!”
“Anna was an outstanding pet and house sitter. She was professional, responsive, and incredibly patient with all of my nervous pet-mom questions throughout the stay. She arrived right on time, took wonderful care of my pets, and left my home in immaculate condition. She even washed all of the bedding without being asked, which was such a thoughtful and appreciated gesture. I came home to happy pets and a house that looked wonderful. I would not hesitate to recommend Anna and would gladly book her again.”
“Amber was a fabulous dog-sitter! She sent me the cutest pictures on Rupert, clearly enjoying his stay. It enabled me to enjoy my journey, knowing he was well-cared for. I will gladly book with Amber again.”

“Tessa is so wonderful! Our dogs did extremely well with her for her 1st time meeting them. We appreciated her patience with the boys, and that she came from the distance that she did to meet and get to know them.”
“Julie was punctual and very attentive to Parker, my elderly cat, and took time to get to know him a bit as well as manage his feeding with auto feeders and give his medication. I will be happy to have her again when the occasion arises.”

“Deirdre was terrific. Our dog, Riley seemed happy and tired after all day with Deirdre. We are traveling, and have had significant car and trailer problems. Deirdre has been BEYOND helpful and flexible with last-minute schedule changes.”
“Christina and Jason were wonderful dog sitters for our pup Honey! We were RV camping staying in a nearby campground. We had some excursions planned where we could not take our pup and Christina and Jason took good care of her. They went on walks in the woods and Honey settled in on their sofa and napped afterwards. They sent pictures of her to let me know that she was happy as she has anxiety when we leave her. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if we’re in the area.”

“Kevin and Inez were GREAT with my dog lexie! Both were friendly and fabulously communicative, the property secure with lots of space for dogs to roam and be outside, super helpful with food / feeding and they also took lexie for a great adventure on trails behind their house - perfect! Super pleased!”
“Chloe is a great sitter! This was our first time using Rover and leaving our 5 month old puppy, Goose. He had no hesitation and immediately followed Chloe when we left. She sent pictures throughout the day and kept us updated. Highly recommend!!!”
About: I can’t remember the last time I’ve lived in a home without a dog or cat! I’ve been training my own furball who’s 10 months old and he’s doing great! I’d say most of my experience comes from watching my own animals, family’s furry friends and neighbors’ pets. I have some time on my hands in between jobs at the moment to help others out. I am currently between jobs for the next few months so I have plenty of time and flexibility to work with your schedule. Happy to fill my days with more dogs! I have a large yard and plenty of trails nearby to walk the dogs! I also have a 10 month old Irish wolfhound that absolutely loves hanging out with other dogs! I have crates - large enough for an Irish wolfhound and room for yours if needed!
About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! Please note: I currently have an infant so I am unable to stay overnight in your home at this time. I accept housesitting requests however, as I am able to offer early morning and late night visits, as well as up to 5-6 visits / daily while house sitting depending on your pets’ needs. Submitting a request as a housesit instead of dropins is more cost effective to you. Please reach out to chat more if you’re looking for house sitting services! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.
“Colby hosted our three pups in her home for a day and it was an amazing experience! She was extremely communicative and made sure to cater to each of our dog's individual needs. Our dogs came home so happy and tired from all the fun they had with Colby. I mean, what more could we ask for? We are all looking forward to working with Colby again!”

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. Our home has an unfenced yard. I will walk your pet on a leash through our trails. I will follow your pet’s schedule and they will be allowed in the open house including couch and bed if that is part of their lifestyle.
“Anna was a great dog sitting for us while visiting Vermont. She had other dogs for our puppy to play with and took them to the park to run around all afternoon together despite it being a hot day. Clear communication and I knew our doggo was having a blast. 10/10”
“Samantha was wonderful! She was very responsive ahead of time with planning the logistics and sent multiple photos and updates during our pup’s day with her. I felt very comfortable knowing Millie was in good hands and would definitely book with her again.”
About: Growing up around a wide variety of animals has given me the skills and passion needed to be an attentive and responsible carer of all kinds of pets. I've owned several dogs, cats, rodents, and horses. I was responsible for administering medications, accommodating pets with special needs, becoming attuned to various behaviors and habits, and adhering to specific individualized training methods. I'm currently working full-time from home as a customer service rep for a small, local company and mothering my 2 year old toddler (who is very gentle and respectful around all animals). I'm fortunately very flexible with my schedule and can accommodate both last-minute and long-term schedules! Being a sincere animal lover, I'm always enthusiastically willing to tend to the needs of any pets that are under my care. I believe that both people and animals benefit from living in a clean and comfortable space, so I seek to maintain and accommodate that kind of positive atmosphere in your pet's home.
