“Joseph was an excellent communicator and helped me to feel comfortable leaving my two rescues in his care. Kind and compassionate! When I picked my pups up, they gave Joseph kisses goodbye, so I know they were well cared for.”

“My little pup seemed to really enjoy his time with Hope. She made sure he got lots of fresh air which he enjoyed being a city dog. We will be going back to Hope if we are vacationing in the area.”

“Hannah saved my wedding day!! Our scheduled dog sitter (not from Rover) cancelled on us two days before our out-of-state wedding, and Hannah not only filled in last minute, she might be our pups favorite person💖 She is incredibly warm, they took to her immediately, and we were so grateful 🙏 Got lots of photos of them just relaxing around her and were able to enjoy our wedding day stress free. Thanks so much, Hannah!!”

“Mellissa was outstanding! I’m very attached to my sweet Mountain Cur, Sugar Magnolia. Mellissa accommodated me with very short notice and was very gracious and helpful and made the process very easy for me. She sent me daily reports with photographs that made me feel at ease knowing Sugar was happy and being well cared for. She was out on trails every day getting exercise and socializing with other dogs. I would not hesitate to use Mellissa services again and give her the highest recommendation.”

“Our dog, Mable, had the best time at Emily’s! My husband and I had our pup stay at Emily’s for a long weekend while we were out of town, and we felt so at ease. Emily sent us updates and pictures multiple times a day. Mable was so happy and came back worn out from all the playtime and love! We will certainly be using Emily again in the future! Highly recommend!”
“Kevin & Inez were wonderful with our 7-year old Havanese Lola. So caring and kind - Inez even hand fed Lola for the first day when she was a nervous and didn't want to eat. They sent great photos every day so we knew she was happy and in good hands. We're so grateful to have found such a loving couple to leave our sweet girl with when we're away.”

“Jessica did a superb job! Can't recommend her highly enough. She was fantastic with our dog, taking her on lots of hikes and other adventures. And she was a very thoughtful and responsive communicator. It was a pleasure working with her from start to finish. We're lucky to have such a wonderful dog sitter in our area!”

“Michelle was terrific! Ellie stayed with her for Thanksgiving weekend and came home happy and tired! She was well-loved and Michelle kept us updated with pics and videos… and was super responsive and proactive before and during the entire experience. Thank you Michelle!”

“Sarah, Ben, and Bean are awesome- It was such a relief to get updates and see Attie having such a great time! Having the fenced yard where both dogs could run and get all their wiggles out is a huge bonus, and Attie came home exhausted and happy. Highly recommend them both :)”

“Richard and Hope took great care of Betty; lots of outdoor time and playing with children. They obviously LOVE dogs and make them part of their family! If I’m back in their ar3a, Betty is definitely staying with them again!”

About: Hi my name is Sean. I recently graduated from RIT with a BFA in illustration. I love all animals and currently have a lot of flexibility to care for your pets while I am working from home. I grew up with two labradoodles and I have also cared for friends' animals while they have been away. One of my dogs has Addison's disease, so I am familiar with giving medication to pets. Spending time with animals brings me joy and does not seem like work - I enjoy playing with your animals, going on walks and I give a great belly rub! I am extremely responsible and will love your animals like my own...you might also find some sketches of your pet when you return home. I am an artist that is currently working from home in Quechee. I am extremely flexible and am available during the week and on weekends. I make my own hours so can work around your schedule. I live with my parents and two friendly labradoodles ages 8 and 12. I could board a dog in my home if he/she gets along well with other dogs and is house-trained. I prefer to care for your animals in your own home: I can do drop-in visits, walks and daytime or overnight house-sitting.
“Swift, Brian, family were amazing with our two dogs! They sent lots of photos throughout the weekend and responded quickly. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend!”

“Overall incredible experience. Such care and attention, daily updates with photos and videos. Finn is not the easiest pup with strangers and within a day they were cuddling on the couch. Highly recommend!”

“Christine was absolutely wonderful with Bean! Bean is a very shy and anxious pup and I've never left her with a stranger before. Christine made sure to have a few meet and greets to ease Bean's anxiety and get to know her prior to my weekend away. She has wonderful calming energy and was very patient and caring with Bean. I was completely comfortable leaving Bean in Christine and Lilly's hands. While away, I got regular photos and updates. Overall it was a great experience with Christine and I would highly recommend her!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter! Eva was incredibly communicative throughout our time away, providing thoughtful updates and photos twice a day that gave us complete peace of mind. It was clear our kitties were receiving excellent care and plenty of attention. Eva was punctual, reliable, and professional, and we truly appreciated the effort she put into keeping us informed. Knowing our pet was in such caring and capable hands made it so much easier to enjoy our time away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive pet sitter!”

About: Cats have always been a part of my life. We had cats growing up and as an adult my family has acquired two cats who are very different -- one is aloof and independent, the other is a needy snuggle fiend. Whatever your cat's personality, I am happy to check on them, toss around a toy mouse, and dole out the treats.
About: I’ve always had dogs in my life, and have been a go-to sitter for friends for years. Now with two rescue pups of my own, I understand and respect their nuances in a whole new way. I’m happy to work with reactive dogs (I have one of my own), and those that need a little extra attention. I have a flexible schedule and I’m happy to take breaks to visit or walk your dog throughout the day. I spend most of my free time walking, hiking and running and would love to have another pup along for the fun! I treat each animal as an individual, and get to know their own unique wants and needs. I let them set the pace, and adjust my care to best suit their needs.
“Samantha was a wonderful companion for my cat Cameo. This was her first visit. She came twice a day for three days. She spent about an hour here each time and in addition to food, water, litter Samantha spent time with Cameo and kept her company. She played with Cameo and brushed her and Cameo responded with love. I adopted Cameo six months ago and she has gradually warmed to her new life with me. When I returned from being away Cameo was even a little more relaxed and friendly than before I left. Cameo and I look forward to the next time Samantha comes to visit in June.”

About: I have taken care of many animals, from aquatic to a variety furry friends. I am always willing to offer a hand in any kind of care or training that is needed to be kept up while their humans are away so that you can be sure the critters are getting the best care and love while you’re away. I am a paraeducator at a school that is less than a mile from my house. I come home everyday at lunch time and usually home by 3:15. Walks and playtime are a necessity for our fur babies and they love having friends to play with! I have 2 female dogs, both very friendly. We have an underground fence, though I would keep your fur baby on a leash when we go outside. We have a nice yard, about half an acre, live near a stream and love taking walks around the neighborhood.
“Kimberly was awesome on visits with our giant dogs. She is super friendly, dogs loved her, she came when requested, shared time spent, and left photos. Very pleased and will definitely book again.”

“Couldn’t be happier with our experience with DJ! We had some daycare plans for our dog fall through and DJ was able to watch our dog on a moments notice, while we were skiing nearby. We received so many pictures and updates on walks, potty breaks, etc. DJ was super flexible with drop off/pick up times and overall, made our experience a breeze. He was so sweet with our pup, and I’d recommend him to anyone looking for daycare or boarding options near Stratton.”

“Mike and Laura cared for my pup like she was their own. My dog is a little anxious and overly excitable but Mike took that all in his stride. He sent photos throughout the day and I could quickly see she felt right at home. She had a long walk and lots of playtime with her favorite game of frisbee. I also have a smaller dog that gets along with others, which would be available for me to bring with me if you would like! I hope to hear from you and your fur baby soon! No animal is too big or too small for me to handle! I enjoy working with them all! Please send me a message for more information! I currently work full-time 4 days a week- which is a very easy schedule to work around. I am flexible when it comes to needing care for your babies! I live in a wonderful area that provides many different places to walk when the weather is nice and a small quiet backyard. I also have a small dog that is very comfortable with all types of animals as well.

“Cara is the best dog sitter. Our Goldendoodle loved her stay so much, which I could tell by the daily pictures sent and communication from Cara. We look forward to more visits when/if we travel in the future!”

“Swift, Brian, family were amazing with our two dogs! They sent lots of photos throughout the weekend and responded quickly. We will definitely be using them again and highly recommend!”

About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.

“Overall incredible experience. Such care and attention, daily updates with photos and videos. Finn is not the easiest pup with strangers and within a day they were cuddling on the couch. Highly recommend!”

About: I have owned dogs my whole life and am a PhD student looking to use my exercise/break time taking care of your dog! Mondays to Wednesday I have open availability and Thursday to Sundays I am open from about 10AM to 2PM. I am super flexible and happy to follow your doggie rules. I have done formal training for rescue pups and understand dog behaviour/warning signs/signs of stress etc as well as any human can. I like to take my own dog with me most places, hiking, camping, you name it. I have owned dogs from 30lb to 90lb and ones who are super loving and those who are more shy. I am used to dealing with a more shy dog on a regular basis. Hope to hear from you!
“Mike and Laura were the absolute perfect fit for our little rescue chihuahua, Topo, who needs some specific care and management. We felt extremely comfortable and confident leaving him with them while we were on holiday and our dog came back even more relaxed and happy then when we dropped him off. Very communicative and they clearly showed our dog all the love and care and walks we could have asked for. Thank you! Topo is looking forward to coming back.”

“DJ was excellent with my pup and I will definitely be keeping him in mind when booking in the future. He was very communicative and sent lots of updates as well as cute photos of their adventures. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a responsible, caring sitter.”
