“Totally thrilled with the stay! A perfect home for sensitive dogs - great people and a peaceful environment. Barbara and Darryll are warm, caring people and very responsive to my dogs needs, plus sent regular updates and pictures throughout the stay. My dog is a Belgian Shepherd and can be anxious and at times reactive, but she was relaxed and quiet while staying here. It was ideal because they were home with her most of the time and kept a consistent routine for her. She found her place on a couch by the window so she could watch the squirrels in the yard, just like at home. I felt safe leaving my dogs with such kind people, thank you Barbara and Darryll! I can't recommend them highly enough!”

“Kevin is a trustworthy find. We left our young Pyredoodle with Kevin while we were abroad, confident our pooch was in good, capable, safe hands. Kevin and his Great Dane, Maki, very calm and easy-going, made perfect companions for our active 2-year-old doggie. When highways were closed due to an unforeseen nor’easter, Kevin without hesitation generously offered to keep Bentley on if necessary. We love that Kevin works at home so there would be someone with Bentley in a cozy, relaxed setting, a much better alternative to boarding at a kennel, especially for a social family dog like ours who needs regular loving human interaction. We would gladly call on Kevin again.”

About: Some of my first memories are of my dog Brownie. My mother raised Springer Spaniels for some time, and after that we had a Labrador, a Newfoundland, three Shitzu's and beloved little Scotty named Jimmy McPierce. I am a gardener by trade so I started petsitting/dogwalking professionally years ago, as a way to generate extra income during the winter months. What can I offer your pet? Personalized care. I understand that every animal has it's own personality quirks. I can work with that! If you have special commands or routines for your pet, please let me know in advance so I know how to best care for your pet. I go above and beyond most sitters because I deeply care for the emotional wellbeing of animals. How many can I watch at once? Multiple pets are not a problem, more the merrier. What if my dog or cat needs to be given medication? I have many clients whose pets require medication. I can administer shots if you have a diabetic in the family. What if my pet is high energy? I am a very active person so if your pup likes to go on runs or hikes, please let me know. I love to play with frisky cats too! I tend to be busier in the summer and therefore don't take on as many clients, but devote most of my time to caring for pets during winter months. However, if you are located somewhere close to my work in the summer, then overnights shouldn’t be a problem as long as your pet can be alone for around six hours. I will consider taking certain dogs into my home for overnights if it is the right fit. I don't own my own house, so I must be sure they will not damage anything. Cats are also welcome if they meet the same behavioral standards.
“Lika was a dependable sitter for our pup who is high energy and has some separation anxiety. She provided photos and updates for us, was quick to respond, and open to any questions. In addition to a meet and greet before booking, we were able to get a video tour of her place to ensure it would be comfortable and safe. We were thankful to know that our dog wouldn't be left alone and was taken out for frequent walks. Thank you so much for showing Murphy so much love Lika!”

“Alison is the best! She went above and beyond to give my cat a lot of attention and play as well as attending to food, water and even clean the litter when I didn’t ask her to do that. I would not hesitate to have Alison take care of my dog or cat when I next need that.”

About: I've had cats my whole life, and am currently a regular cat sitter for my neighbor in my apartment building, and have been the cat sitter for my entire family, grandparents, aunts and uncles for my entire life to teach me responsibility. I have always been the kid that was given $5 to take care of someone's pet and I'm proud to say that

“Tatiana was so helpful! I needed someone last minute to let my Milo out for a little bit and she had no complaints and drove during the night. She was very good with him and let me know everything and I highly recommend. Thanks so much!”

“Laura was so great with our cats! She was super responsive and kind throughout the week. It was also amazing coming home to an extra clean house. We’ll definitely be repeat customers.”

“Margaret has been a wonderful cat sitter for my baby. She’s reliable and dependable, and Nina loves the time she spends petting her. I can go on vacation worry free knowing she’ll take care of her.”

“Annie took wonderful care of our senior mini-poodle mix. He is over 16 years old and has some medical challenges. Annie did a tremendous job making him feel comfortable. Updated us with text/pics and a printed day report to take home. Excellent communication during the booking process as well. We would definitely book with Annie again if in the area.”

“They were great with our girl. When she had a bit of a hard time at the beginning she was in constant communication with me about her. She was extremely flexible with times for both pick up and drop off. Highly recommended and will be using her again if needed!”

About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s what I’ve built real experience in. I’ve worked hands-on with dogs for over three years in professional settings, including daycare, boarding, off-leash adventures, and my most recent role was at a training facility where I learned how to safely manage dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also own 2 dogs of my own, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is always to provide structured, attentive, and genuinely loving care so every dog feels safe, happy, and understood. I am also attending school to become a professional canine trainer. Pet care is my entire life. I have dedicated all 7 days of the week and 365 days of the year towards taking care of others and my own animals. Need last minute boarding due to a family emergency? I’m your girl. Everything else closed when you have work? I’m your girl. Taking a weekend trip but no where is open? I’m. Your. Girl. I am not only here for the convenience of you but also your beloved furry friends My yard is currently not fenced,(fence coming soon!) but I do offer leash training for more enjoyable walking experiences. I do daily walks for all dogs no matter the training level they are at. I have 1 very friendly lab mix and a great dane who would keep your dog friendly dogs company, and I also offer special care for those special pups who are more people dogs than dog dogs for no additional charge. If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic cats.
