About: Caring for dogs isn’t just something I do on the side, it’s what I’ve built real experience in. I’ve worked hands-on with dogs for over three years in professional settings, including daycare, boarding, off-leash adventures, and my most recent role was at a training facility where I learned how to safely manage dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I also own 2 dogs of my own, so I understand the trust it takes to leave your pet in someone else’s care. My goal is always to provide structured, attentive, and genuinely loving care so every dog feels safe, happy, and understood. I am also attending school to become a professional canine trainer. Pet care is my entire life. I have dedicated all 7 days of the week and 365 days of the year towards taking care of others and my own animals. Need last minute boarding due to a family emergency? I do daily walks for all dogs no matter the training level they are at. I have 1 very friendly lab mix and a great dane who would keep your dog friendly dogs company, and I also offer special care for those special pups who are more people dogs than dog dogs for no additional charge. If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic cats.

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.

About: My schedule is flexible so I'm able to spend time throughout the day with your fur baby. I'm active and happy to play fetch for hours! I like to take dogs for multiple walks and give lots of love and pets. The clients I sit for like the fact they can contact me last minute and I'm generally able to adjust my schedule to be available. My schedule changes from week to week but feel free to contact me to double check my availability no matter the season! I like when clients leave me detailed instructions on what their pets normal schedules are, that way there's less stress put on myself and on your fur friend! I'm able to work from home most days of the week, this allows me to be available for all pet needs - morning, lunch time, and after work walks are a part of my daily schedule when we have a dog to take care of. Lots of mental stimulation and training exercises throughout the day to keep them out of trouble helps too! I have a 9 year old cat in the house that tends to keep to herself in the bedroom when there's a dog around. Our home is on 5 acres of land with a big yard to do lots of sniffing around. Now, my partner and I adopt old pets and care for them during their retirement. About: There has always been a dog in my life and it’s the absolute best! I am a big believer in positive reinforcement training. I’ve worked with a dog trainer for a few weeks (with my own dog Lucy) and have enjoyed reading about positive reinforcement training techniques. I always enjoy greeting other furry friends while we’re out on the trails or at the town off-leash area. I have experience with puppies and senior dogs and my current dog Lucy was, (and still sometimes is!), pretty high-energy. We get outside for some energy-burning activity at least 2x a day. We live right next to trails, a pond, and a river. I’ve mostly taken in friends’ dogs over the past couple of years but we’re used to having an extra dog come to stay and would be happy to welcome yours! I work from home and Lucy is with me all day. We exercise and/or have play breaks throughout the day. I have very few commitments outside the home. We are active and live right next to town & state forest with many trails. I run, hike, and mountain bike. We also have 2 ponds which is the best for water-loving dogs! I take Lucy out every couple of hours on our property (big meadow) or surrounding trails. She is mostly off-leash but can be on-leash if that works better with your dog. Lucy loves all dogs and is a great, energetic playmate. We have a crate if that's part of your dog's routine.

If your dog is crate trained they will be crated for bedtime (9pm-6am) with overnight potty breaks if your pup requires them as well. I keep all dogs and cats separated. Dogs have the downstairs of the home, and cats have the upstairs. I am comfortable with administering basically any medication except needles, the only needle exception being for diabetic cats.

“We couldn’t ask for a better experience with Chad. Our family stayed in Smugglers’ Notch/Stowe area and our resort (if you do timeshare, you understand) doesn’t allow pets. We still wanted our dog close and finding Chad is awesome. He took the time to discuss ahead of boarding all necessary details about Pakun. He even asked for written notes and sent daily pictures and videos. We are kept updated especially with important details about our dog’s behavior. We could tell our Pakun was treated so well. Our English Springer’s hair was not tangled and he was clean when we picked him up. It is hard to believe since our dog has videos of walks, playing in the park and playdates with other dogs,he even did enrichment activities. Our dog is used to group boarding when we go on vacation, he usually comes back smelly and all tangled up. We are so pleased with our experience this time and we are so glad we brought him to have his own vacation with Chad.”

About: I have taken care of my family and friend’s dogs for years. I just found out about Rover from a friend who’s been on Rover for some time and she’s told me just how fun and rewarding it is, so I am giving it a go! I have a Yellow Lab of my own “Jader” who loves going for hikes and swimming in my pond. Currently I am very flexible and would be able to provide walks, pet sitting, and potentially be willing to board on a case by case basis. I look forward to where this Rover journey takes me! At the time I am in flight school which is part time and I have quite a bit of flexibility. So days and evenings are doable. I live on a 100 acre horse farm at the end of quiet dirt road so there is very little traffic. When you come by for the first time you will think this is doggy heaven. My Lab Jader is very easy going and gets along with most dogs. Of course before entertaining any boarding I would have to see how Jader gets along with your dog. Other than that I am used to walking and hiking in public areas so walking the rec path or going up the Pinnacle would not be an issue.
