Personalized care for your dog or cat - Goshen
Highly-rated overnight sitters - Goshen
“We just returned from a 2 week trip and couldn’t be happier with the care our dog Abbey received. Deidre is so great and Abbey receives lots of exercise and opportunities to play with other dogs. Deidre is great about sending pictures and videos and Abbey always looks happy! She also is a groomer and does a great job!”
“Christina and Jason were amazing to our puppy! Very communicative and Cruz came home happy and tired! Felt very comfortable with them and having Cruz in their care. Thank you so much!”
“Brittany was super easy to work with, the pups loved her, and her set up is perfect for the active boys we have, they hardly noticed we left. Her pups were great greeters and playmates. We were traveling far so our timing was quite questionable and Brittany made us feel right at home and worked with us and the unpredictability of Boston!”
“Recommend 100%. Karly is very kind, wonderful with our Sheena and another dog in her care. Managed them both lovely and clearly has fantastic knowlege and care with taking care of both pups. Sheena looked to have a great time. Very appriciate of faboulous pictures.”
“My sister and I were heading to Stowe with our dogs for a ski trip when we found out the house wasn't dog friendly. Oh no! Luckily we found Gwynn who lives close to Stowe. She only takes two dogs at a time which was perfect for my dog and my sister's since they're best friends! Gwynn was great with initial introductions with my somewhat skittish dog and her dogs. We were in contact with her everyday with photos and a video of them frolicking in the snow. She always responded quickly via phone or text. After picking them up, our dogs ended up sleeping the entire next day from having too much fun. My dog in particular did not want to leave Gwynn's chickens! I would highly recommend Gwynn, especially if your dog needs personal attention, lots of exercise and outdoor time.”
“Boots seemed to enjoy her long weekend at Sam's boarding facility. The atmosphere is lively with rescue pigs, goats and dogs, and Sam did a great job assessing the groups and finding a spot that worked for her temperament and sometimes quirky behaviors. It was our first time boarding a dog, and all went well!”

“Chloe was phenomenal! She watched my Australian Shepherd for 4 days and was very thorough in getting the behavior of my dog, and extremely communicative by giving me updates throughout his stay. She also allowed me to drop him off ahead of schedule to make my life easier. 10/10 would use her again for any and all services”

“Erica was wonderfully patient and kind with our elderly Chihuahua, Suzie, while we explored local attractions while traveling through the area. Suzie is typically anxious in new situations but she looked relaxed in the pictures Erica sent to us throughout her stay and was calm and happy when we picked her up. We are extremely thankful for Erica’s focused attention and compassion with our senior girl.”

“Haley is great!! She is very attentive to our dogs. Sends lots of pictures and we really appreciate the updates. She took the time to make sure our pups cooled off on a hot day. Highly recommend!!!”
“Laura was stellar at caring for my pets. Very communicative and kind. My animals did not seem stressed at all when I returned home - I think a very good sign they were in great hands!”
“Bayleigh was so warm, communicative, and reliable! She made sure I was able to reach her anytime and sent me detailed notes and photos daily. She went out of her way to make me feel comfortable and my cat was well loved and taken care of! Hopefully, Chaz and I are able to have Bayleigh back to our home again next time I’m out of town!”
About: I've lived with and cared for family+friends dogs for most of my life thus far, and recently spent about a year+ as a full time pet care professional in Boston. While there I personally managed client relationships with clients from all walks of life, including some very high-profile families and individuals. I have worked with multiple trainers of various backgrounds and picked up all kinds of useful knowledge for all shapes and sizes of dogs and cats. I have experience with puppies, elderly, and infirm dogs with various kinds of behavioral and/or physical challenges. I also have extensive experience in handling groups of dogs and their interactions with each other, especially in a dog park setting. My work schedule varies quite a bit at the moment and is typically plenty flexible to cover any of your pet's needs granted I have proper time to plan. I'm happy to do whatever it takes to keep your pets comfortable and in their routine to minimize their stress while apart from their humans. My apartment has a small yard, and the neighbors have some furry friends for social time if your pet likes to make friends.
About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. I would make sure to follow any rules and guidelines to avoid any accidents. Safety is my priority above all.
“Karen was absolutely wonderful with my two cats. She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. It was a great experience and so wonderful having her take care of them while I was away so I could relax and enjoy my vacation worry free.”
About: Relationship with animals has always been a passion of mine. I started grooming dogs with my grandmother at the age of 10, but was her assistant long before I earned the title. It brings me joy and fulfillment to care for pups and cats alike, while creating an environment where they (and you) can feel safe and earn my trust in the process. As a part time bartender at Pascolo Restaurant in Downtown Burlington, it would fit into my schedule to walk dogs in the morning, afternoon and early evening as well as weekends. There is a lot of freedom to work around your schedule :) In my home, I live off of Main Street in Vergennes and can provide safe walking around town as well as some of the trails near by. In your home, I am quick to adapt to whatever will make you most comfortable!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Goshen
“Chloe is so amazing and accommodating! Last minute I couldn’t pick up my dog due to work circumstances, and she offered to keep him overnight with no issue(: My dog loved her and I will definitely use her services again!”
“Christina and Jason were wonderful dog sitters for our pup Honey! We were RV camping staying in a nearby campground. We had some excursions planned where we could not take our pup and Christina and Jason took good care of her. They went on walks in the woods and Honey settled in on their sofa and napped afterwards. They sent pictures of her to let me know that she was happy as she has anxiety when we leave her. I would definitely recommend them and use them again if we’re in the area.”
About: I have over ten years of experience caring for fur babies of every kind! I grew up surrounded by animals, a passion that has blossomed in my adult years. In high school I worked in a veterinary setting where I was able to learn pet CPR & emergency skills. I am now a human mama to one baby boy who I plan to pass my love of animals onto, we practice and model gentle and respectful handling of all furry friends. I am an animal mama to two goldens, some chickens and a few cats. I work from home, so naturally, spend all my days doting on my fur babies and yours too! Your pets will always be treated with love, kindness & patience by me - whether in my home or yours! Please note: I currently have an infant so I am unable to stay overnight in your home at this time. I accept housesitting requests however, as I am able to offer early morning and late night visits, as well as up to 5-6 visits / daily while house sitting depending on your pets’ needs. Submitting a request as a housesit instead of dropins is more cost effective to you. Please reach out to chat more if you’re looking for house sitting services! I work a very relaxed job from home so I am able to be available to your pet 24/7 for medicine breaks, snack breaks, walks, potty breaks, and scritches! I have experience with every pet type, from Great Danes to bottle fed kittens. If your pet is staying in my home - they can enjoy our fenced in backyard or our dedicated dog loft if they need some time to decompress. Otherwise, they’ll get to hangout with my family 24/7 which includes my two golden retrievers, Franklin & Jasper. Franklin & Jasper have never met a dog they didn’t LOVE. For peace of mind, our dogs will never be fed in the same space as your pet(s). We always welcome you to come see our home and meet Franklin & Jasper before your scheduled drop off date so that you can feel confident and stress free while out of town. If I am watching your pet within your home, my visits are extremely flexible. I am able to accommodate feeding and walk schedules seamlessly.

About: I've had dogs since I was born, have worked in shelters and keep raising my own puppy dog. I give dogs multiple walks and play with them. If necessary I take them hiking, play fetch outdoor and give them lots of love an attention. I will make your dog feel like family and help with any training that you're working on. I would love to have many digs but at the moment we can only afford one as we travel through occasionally. I work from home Monday through Friday so I am there 24/7 to support and hang out with your pet. We usually do at least a morning walk, lunch quick outing and afternoon longer walk. Our home has an unfenced yard. I will walk your pet on a leash through our trails. I will follow your pet’s schedule and they will be allowed in the open house including couch and bed if that is part of their lifestyle.
