About: I have taken care of dogs and cats ranging from under one year to 14 years of age. I have administered medication for dogs and cats (orally and via shot). I have provided care for extremely social dogs and anxious pups—I am confident in my ability to provide connection and care.I have also taken care of chickens and am comfortable doing so. I have been living with a golden retriever puppy for the last two years so I’m eager to spend time with some pups of kittens! I am a middle school teacher on summer break. My schedule for July is empty!!! I need work in July before going back to school. Trying to save up to get my own pup… I am unfortunately not available to host dogs at my house since I am living with my parents. I am 24 years old and that’s a bit too much of an ask. About: I have pet and house-sat a lot through out my life, I love making new animal friends!! I have experience giving medication, bathing, walking, hiking and chilling with both 🐈 and 🐕. I live in Bomoseen and work in Middlebury, if you need a drop in while you go out on the lake or need to take a day trip, I’m your girl! I have time to get your pets outside and active, and to give them lots of attention. I’m an extremely reliable, punctual person. I’m also quite tidy, should you need an overnight sitter, your place will be almost identical to how you left it.

About: My family and I have had cats and dogs my whole life. I cannot have pets in my apartment. But I would love to care for yours like they were my own. I’m available evenings and weekends. I Work full time. I can do overnight stays on weekends. I live in Vermont but and can go as far as Lake George. I don’t have pets. But I would be clean and respectful. “Meghan was great! The last time we hired a walker, one of our pups didn’t walk. He wouldn’t leave the house and we had to call in a favor from family. We asked Meghan to meet the dogs and cat before her first walk, and we found her to be calm, polite, and very pleasant around the dogs. They warmed up to her immediately. While we were gone, she walked the dogs twice a day, including the one who was socially anxious. Our house looked great when we got home and the animals were in very good spirits. She stayed in my house with them for over a week during Christmas and New Years, was a great communicator, kept me updated with photos, and I felt very reassured leaving my pets with someone so responsible. Upon my return everything was tidy, the cats were well fed with extra food and water laid out, and litter boxes cleaned. About: Common courtesy and communication is paramount. **Willing to travel up to an hour away. Just because Rover says you are outside my service area it does not always mean you are. I have clients an hour North and South of me. **Necessary update as of 6/21/23** I will require current credit card info be on file at your vet or provided for me in your pet write up ONLY in case of emergency. In the event of an emergency and I could not get a hold of the human, puppies have no pockets to hold a card, the vet required me to pay. I have raised 3 separate RESCUE Rottweilers to be exceptional ambassadors of their breed. I currently do not have any pets since my big boy passed away in 2016. I hope to again one day have my own dogs. Until then I will love YOUR pet. **I DO NOT board animals at my home. Only repeat clients would MAYBE be possible for a very short amount of time.** Clients pets have included many breeds, species for days, weeks. Many Golden Retrievers, Doodles, mixes aka Heinz57s, Old English Sheep dog, lots of kitties, a chameleon, turtles, a bearded dragon, a small bird, fish, Rottweilers, a very challenging but lovable English Bulldog and Huskies one of which was very reactive. Oh and a LOT of house plants! PLEASE NOTE: I am deathly allergic to horses which I am very sad about. Any type of animal requiring LARGE amounts of hay would also be a problem i.e, goats, cows, alpacas I am sorry to say. Small rodent animals requiring hay for food or bedding has not been a big deal. My personnel dogs were very public dogs, parks, events etc. With the ever present fact in mind that as good as my animal was it is still an animal. Never purposely putting them in a situation to be loose (unless at home or a fenced park) or get into anything that could harm them. Read quite a few books/manuals by military working dog trainers in hopes of training a service oriented Rottie. Came very close to passing the Good Citizen certification but my dogs never liked the “stay” part when I had to walk away with my back turned. They just had to be next to me. So close. PLEASE NOTE: I have my preferences set to NOT to show any photos of YOUR pet publicly. I would ask permission first to share. Photos only NEVER infomation of course. My schedule allows me to be available to be in YOUR HOME, with your pets all day/night, unless noted ahead of time and of course trips to the store. I have many types of animals that insist on sleeping in bed just like they do when their people are home which in fine by me. Just take some Benadryl and snuggle on in. I try to stick closely to how the home runs normally so the pets do not have any surprises that can make them anxious. Sleep, food, walks, play time etc. I supervise dogs in their own yard fenced or not. I am very organized and like an outlined idea of their schedule to be written down for me to follow as closely as YOU would.

About: I grew up in a home that raised labs for Guiding Eyes, and personally raised four on my own. I’ve never not had a dog and am always caring for family and friends dogs. We currently have a four year old yellow lab. I currently work from home full time, with flexibility throughout my day to care for my own, and your dog! Athena is a Tim at rescue and often times won’t leave the house with sitters for the first couple visits, but Athena left with her all three of her first visits and even went for a walk with her a couple times which she rarely does. My expectations are getting her potty break met and to get her exercise needs met as well as a huge bonus! Will definitely hire again!”

Friends & family have relied on me to walk, feed & housesit for their animals. I work full time time job but I have most mornings free. My schedule rotates so I would not be able to have the same availability every week, but please reach out with dates & times! I would love to make something work. I can come to your house and walk your dog. If you are interested in an overnight board at my house the dog would have to be good with my 15lb poodle mix & two cats. It would be ideal that the dog comes with a crate to stay in, as my dog is crated as well when we are out of the house.
