About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

About: I have always been around dogs and other pets since I was a baby, and have always loved and cherished them. As an adult we have raised and taken care of three cats and dogs. While in the military for 10 years, I was responsible for taking care of many other pets, especially dogs, for other service members while they traveled or deployed. My dog Nigel and I tend to make fast friends with any other dogs we meet! I recently got out of the military, and moved back home to Vermont. I am currently not working, and will be working on online college courses from home for the foreseeable future. We are also about 5 minutes away from a beautiful dog park and miles of nature trails that we try to go to every day.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was a toddler. I currently have an almost 1-year old big goofy catahoula leopard/pitbull mix. I routinely dog sit for extended family and I have fostered for a local dog rescue. One of my favorite activities is taking a dog for a nice neighborhood walk or an active hike. If your dog comes here for a stay, they are treated as a member of the family. They’re welcome to lounge on the couch and we even love to bring them on outings with us if your dog would enjoy it. I’m a full time mom so I have a fairly flexible schedule for adding in dog walks. If your dog is ok with kiddos joining, I can be even more accommodating. About: I’ve taken care of and had my own dogs and cats for over 20 years. My current dogs are 2 and 9 so I have a wide range of recent experience caring for both puppies and senior dogs. I’m a therapist in training currently so I’m very pro communication and I’m happy to set expectations with you early and keep lines of communication open throughout my time with your pet. I have had the honor to care for pets across the lifespan having grown up with many furry, feathery-even scaley-companions. Its been a great joy as well to be a person who impacts animal lives via rescue/rehabilitation and, most recently through fostering at-risk cats. I feel confident in my ability to provide a therapeutic alliance built on patience and understanding with vulnerable animals. I have hands-on training experience and am comfortable reinforcing basic commands and routines in dogs and cats. I always tailor my visit with the specific needs of the pet, and of the caregiver. On walks- allowing an animal to engage each of their senses is the main goal of a walk, to me its all about enrichment. I let animals lead the way while also paying close attention to their behavior and body language, so I can better respond to their needs.I'm confident administering oral medications, managing specific diets, and maintaining steady routines to help minimize stress while you're away. About: Long story short: I have YEARS of experience and a deep love of all animals! I'm great with dogs of all sizes, ages, and personalities! Happy to walk them all! Must be kid-friendly if sitting happens in my home. Good with cats for in-your-home pet-sitting The Long Version: I've had dogs in my home since I was a kid. I also have experience with cats, as we had cats first when I was younger, and at one point had multiple cats in the home at once, and also had two cats and two dogs at one time. In college I volunteered at a local rescue and walked dogs of all sizes and personalities several days a week. I ended up adopting one of those dogs, and had her from the age of about 4, until her passing a couple years ago at around age 15. She was an absolute love, but she also could be very reactive on walks/ in public. She was extremely particular about which dogs she approved and even when she found one she'd be okay with, she often took quite a careful, long introduction to make it work. We went through behavioral training and made some progress, and I was able to take her on many adventures, even despite her still being a bit reactive. I learned a lot about dog behavior and socialization with her. Over the years we also rehab'd an ACL injury and recovery, and had to make life/ home/ meds modifications as she got older and needed some more senior dog TLC. I am happy to visit/ walk any dogs, behavioral "quirks" and all, as long as I know about their strengths, challenges, and how to support them, in advance. For boarding/ any care within my own home, I am only able to accept dogs that are excellent with young children (I have two dog-loving kids under age 5). I'm a teacher, so my schedule varies based on the time of year! During the school year: I can do weekend walks, or dog sitting, ideally at my home, through the weekend. During the summer months: My schedule is flexible! I'm happy to do quick potty breaks for pups during the day, regular walks, filling in for random days you have to work longer than usual, boarding/ dog sitting (again, ideally at my home since I have two little kids) I've always loved my pets as members of the family! I will give your pet all the love and care that I'd give my own! I am happy to follow any pre-established expectations and appreciate knowing anything that's going to help make my time with your pet as comfortable and fun for them as possible in your absence. I also love capturing adorable pictures of animals lounging, playing, etc. so I will definitely send pics during / after my visit if you want them! We don't currently have any pets in our home. Our dogs were allowed on the couch, bed, anywhere, and I was usually curled right up with them, but I of course plan to follow any rules/ standard expectations that you have established for your pets and/or your home.

About: As a dog owner myself I fully understand how important they are to your family. My husband & I have been in our “pet parents” era for 5 years now, so I’m sure you can only imagine how spoiled our Georgia girl is. When you hire me, you’re getting someone who’s going to treat your dog exactly as their own. I want to see their little wiggly butts & all of their cute tricks when they are in my care. I always offer a meet & greet so I can learn about their dislikes/likes , favorite toys and scratches & all of the cute things you love about them and or maybe naughty things they do before I take care of them so I can offer a safe & familiar environment! I have 10+ years of experience with drop ins, day care & dog walking. Rover has given me the opportunity to make new furry friends & to continue being active outside during all 4 of VT seasons. I work remote Monday through Friday and it gives me the flexibility to take breaks when needed to be present for your animals in your absence. I have a huge back yard where I live and a very sweet dog named Georgia that loves to cuddle & go for daily walks. We are a very pet friendly home. Dogs will be tucked in while sleeping.

“Gabe is a loving, attentive and trustworthy person. She is also incredibly friendly and accommodating. My 9-year-old dog Elsa need special care due to her joint issue. Gabe took such fantastic care of Elsa for over 3 weeks. We received photos and videos continuously which really put my mind at ease. Her dog Dune is a gentle and happy golden retriever, Elsa and Dune was getting along very well and they were always happy and relaxed. Elsa was so happy so see Gabe and Dune when back for the 2nd stay. Thank you Gabe for everything!”
About: Hi! I would love to care for your pet when u need. I have free time on the day & evening and One weeked out of 2 .if u Just need me to take your dog out for a few walks or if u need to traveI I can pet sit your animal! I only have a cat at home Luna she likes dogs . They are part of our family and treat them like kids . I ‘m a dogs person but I can take care of cats too and I just got one recently and my dog and her get along very well . I love to cuddle with animals ..love when they fallow me all over the house and love to give them treats .I change their water regularly make sure they have lots of love and care and talk to them and give them a little paw massage ;) . Je travaille actuellement temps partiel mais j’ai 2-3 jours de congé de libres la semaine et 1 fin de semaine sur 2. Alors assez flexible puisque je travaille de nuit . Je tient à cœur leur sécurité . Je surveille toujours le chien s’il est dans la cour arrière . Je m’assure que les portes sont bien fermés pour pas qu’il s’enfuit.
