About: Lifelong dog owner with decades of experience caring for dogs both big and small. I work from home and am able to provide constant care, companionship and plenty of exercise. I am happy to host dogs from different families if they are friendly, but I am also happy to host your dog(s) alone. Boarders or daycare get at least two to three 30+ min walks/day, dozens of photos, and lots of love of course! I provide toys, bowls, a dog bed, treats, poop bags and a backup leash. A tired dog is a good dog :) I grew up with border collies and labs, then rescued my own dogs in adulthood. One of my rescues was a very sick 3-month old puppy that I raised, so I am well-versed with puppy care. I do not currently have pets living in the home, so your dogs will have the run of the place! There, I care for reptiles, amphibians, fish, and even arachnids, giving me both the compassion and confidence to care for exotic pets of all kinds. I’m a full time student at JMU, with classes M-Th, I am offering all day/as needed care on weekends starting Friday after 1pm. I am open to drop-ins and walks after 6pm weekdays, except Tuesday. About: Hello! I have been dog sitting on Rover for a few years now and I absolutely love it. Some facts about me are that I’m active in my church, love exploring, being in nature, and drinking coffee with friends! I grew up owning dogs and I love them! I have experience in dog sitting overnight and taking them on walks. I am a timely person who will be careful to remember your specific needs and instructions in taking care of your dog. I have experience in staying alert around other dogs and either making sure they will get along before approaching or crossing the street. I’m happy to take your dog for walks and potty breaks throughout the day, and most of all give your dog lots of love, cuddles and good company! I look forward to meeting you and getting to know you and your dog(s)! My work schedule is flexible and I’m not usually gone for longer than 3 to 4 hours. If you have any questions or requests, don’t hesitate to ask! I will care for your pets by giving them lots of pets and taking them on walks. I will be attentive to your pets needs and do everything in a timely manner because I care about caring for your pet! I will also send pictures and updates 2x a day.

Her home is wonderfully set up for boarding dogs - including a crate space for any pups who need a little time to calm down and a doggie door with a fenced in backyard that the dogs have access to.
