“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I helped my childhood dog with her liter and one of her puppies was my best friend until he crossed the rainbow bridge a year ago. I currently have a sweet loving 9 year old black lab and a fun 3 year old labradoodle. I’m a stay at home mom who homeschools as well and play outside a lot with my children and my dogs. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication.
