When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. About: What sets me apart from all sitters is my deep depth for all animals. As a child, I have always developed a love for animals. My love and compassion for animals spilled over into the education field working with students with special needs. Presently, I have four rescue cats, two classroom guinea pigs, and four dogs, one of which is a rescue. I volunteer with my country's animal shelter, and I have fostered and saved many animals. “Katie was more than amazing! I have left our Doberman, Roxy, at various kennels, and other Rover sitters, but Roxy would seem anxious or would get sick after I picked her up from those places. Not with Katie! I felt that our furry friend was with family. It was clear that our naturally anxious dog has made a friend. She seemed happy and content and although she was excited to see me, she was not anxious or rushing to leave Katie's place. About: With a lifelong background in dog care — starting with my dad raising dogs and me helping care for 17 growing up — I’ve always had a special connection with animals. I now have three dogs of my own and bring that same love, patience, and experience to every pet I look after I’m currently working part-time and looking to spend more of my days doing something I love — caring for dogs! Since my schedule is very flexible, I can easily adjust my work hours and make time whenever your pets need me. Spending time with dogs truly brightens my day, so fitting pet care into my routine is something I enjoy, not just a job. my home, I have a fenced-in backyard where dogs can safely play and enjoy the outdoors. I also have three friendly, well-behaved dogs who love meeting new friends! If a quieter environment is needed, I can easily crate my dogs to make sure every pet feels comfortable and secure.
