About: I've been a caretaker to many animals great and small from horses and alpacas to cats and rats. Any animal is welcome in my care. I truly want the best for every sweet soul and a key to that is regular exercise and freedom. I am currently working part-time at a horse farm and am looking for more animal time in between my shifts any day of the week. I have 2 short shifts, one in the morning that ends around 9:30 and another shift at 4 that is also quite short. There is a great chunk of time to fill. My pup and I have an abundance of toys and a little dog park only 5 minutes away! I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. About: I’ve had pets my whole life. I love dogs and cats. I love animals and have no problem spending my free time taking care of and playing with some fur babies. I have a pug that I've had since she was 6 weeks old. I also have a cat who I took in after his old owner abandoned him. I currently work full time Monday-Friday 8-5pm in Charlottesville. I am more than happy to stop by after work if needed or if you want me to stay at your place I can take care of the babies before heading to work to make sure they are fed and worked. Can work with a lot of schedules. I do make and sell jewelry so there may be a few weekend days where my availability is limited due to already committed to a craft show In my house I try and take my dog out every 2 hours. In the summer my pug is sensitive to heat so we do short walks around our driveway. She is a bit spoiled and will not go outside in the rain so I do also have experience cleaning up puppy pads and encouraging their use. My cat is both indoors and outdoors so he goes to the bathroom outside but also have a litter box inside I clean every few days for him.

Normally I would be worried to leave my dog to go out of the country, but Nadia made it such an easy and pleasant experience. She sent pictures and updates everyday. She respected all of the care instructions I left and made sure Moose was well taken care of. She and her husband treated him like family and made him feel welcome and spoiled with love, which I so appreciated. She truly is one of a kind and Moose really enjoyed his stay with her. “Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

I always want to make sure your furry family members feel comfortable and loved while you’re away! I am reliable and make sure to communicate clearly when a problem arises, or just to send pictures because I know you miss your pet. I love going for walks around my neighborhood and make sure to give plenty of cuddles! I am in online school full-time, so I can your pet my full attention during the day. I am very active during the day and am never in the same spot twice, so there will be lots of activity if your dog needs it. I live in a gated community and can accommodate crated dogs. I also do not mind your dog being on the furniture! I do not currently own a pets and I live in a smoke-free household.

About: I'm an experienced dog mama who's been loving these furry friends since I was a kid! Currently mom to two amazing humans and one ultra-sweet, goofy black lab named Finn. I work primarily from home, and have a very pet friendly home. I work mostly remote, so would most likely be with your pup much of the day. Depending on timing, I am available both during the week and weekends. I have an unfenced yard, and also easy access to walking. I do have access to a large dog crate if needed, although pets can have free reign in the house. I have one flight of stairs.
