My husband has a flexible schedule and typically doesn’t start work until around 10:00 AM and is home by about 3:00 PM. This means your pup won’t be alone for long stretches of time, and there is someone around during much of the day. Our mornings are busy with getting the kids ready for school, but we make time for potty breaks, breakfast, and some attention before everyone heads out. Once the kids are home from school, things become more active! We enjoy walks, outdoor play, and spending time together as a family. We live in the gated community of Fords Colony, so the walking paths for your pup are perfect and safe. Your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax throughout the afternoon and evening. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as closely as possible. We were able to do a meet and greet before our vacation and our Irish doodle loved Caitlin and her 3 kids right from the start. I am a graduate student in my final semester and am working part time entirely from the home. I have ample time to tend to your pet with snuggles and long walks outside! Theo dog featured in my profile picture is a family dog, who does not live with me currently. So my attention is 100% for your pup! I live in a very dog-friendly apartment complex in the Barton Springs/Bluffs area, right by the Greenbelt trailhead. My apartment is ground level and opens up onto an unfenced yard area perfect for potty breaks. My studio apartment is approx. 450 square feet, so pretty small but your dog is welcome to have free reign on the couch and bed (if they are allowed to do so in their own home, of course!). When I take care of dogs in another person's home, I try to arrange my schedule such that I am never gone for more than 3-4 hours in the entire day. I understand the anxiety pets deal with when their beloved hoomans are away, so I am very committed to adjusting my schedule to prioritize being with the dog as much as possible.
About: Every since I got my first cat my life has never been the same. Now I always love to take care of all my pets for my friends and family house sitting and long walks. I'm a college student, so over the summer I have copious amounts of free time that allows me to flexibly take care of pets throughout the day. I ensure that all their primary needs are first satisfied, food, water, and walks, then I like to ensure that they get plenty of attention for the time I'm with them.

About: I have taken care of lots of dogs over the years. I love on all of them, and give great doggie massages. I take the dogs on daily walks. I work 3 to 4 hours each day and am home most of the time. I am a master gardener and spend a lot of free time in the yard. I have a fairly large fenced in back yard. “Oh my gosh! My boy Neeko had THE BEST time!!!! Cristen was great at sharing photos and videos during his 2 night weekend visit. Her communication is so good. I’m a full-time teacher, so I’m at work during the school day, but I’m home after school and have afternoons and evenings to spend with the dogs. My husband has a flexible schedule and typically doesn’t start work until around 10:00 AM and is home by about 3:00 PM. This means your pup won’t be alone for long stretches of time, and there is someone around during much of the day. Our mornings are busy with getting the kids ready for school, but we make time for potty breaks, breakfast, and some attention before everyone heads out. Once the kids are home from school, things become more active! We enjoy walks, outdoor play, and spending time together as a family. We live in the gated community of Fords Colony, so the walking paths for your pup are perfect and safe. Your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and opportunities to relax throughout the afternoon and evening. We’re happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, potty, and medication routines as closely as possible. Our goal is to make their stay feel comfortable, safe, and as much like home as possible!

We have two dogs and wanted them somewhere they’d get a lot of attention and affection, which is exactly what they got with Hillary and her family. The photos showed our dogs relaxed, on walks, and often curled up in laps—clearly comfortable and well cared for. Midweek, one of our dogs had an upset stomach, and Hillary was proactive, attentive, and accommodating in handling it.
