About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.
“Tina was so wonderful! I was a bit nervous going in as this was the first time I was leaving my 8 month old puppy with someone that I did not know. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! There was even a storm that rolled by which Maizy is terrified of thunder and Tina helped her feel safe! I would definitely book with her again should we need it!”
About: I’ve had a dog my entire life except for a few very lonely months in 2020 after I lost the love of my life, Romey, the naughtiest lab with the best sense of humor. I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was young. I’d walk, feed and love on my neighbors and friends pets. I hope I will be the one you call and who you can trust with your furry BFF. While I will happily accept ALL dogs under 30lbs, I specialize in elderly pets/special needs pets who don't do well in boarding situations and need extra care throughout the day. I'm well-versed in administering oral medication, injections, and even subcutaneous fluids as needed. I am available 24hrs a day for potty breaks and medication routines. I am currently the only sitter in the western area of VA that is certified through the Professional Animal Care Certification Council, a 3rd party certification. This means they do not offer any classes or teaching, but only offer the test, which costs around $400. I offer overnight stays in my home specifically for: Elderly pups and pups of all ages with special needs (Under 40lbs) who would not do well in a boarding facility. Your pups would be the center of attention in the house while they were here. We do have cats in the house, so please let us know if your pup has any issues with smaller animals. If so, we can still accommodate them, we would just have them in our dog-only area! I have a 'dog room' at home with a couch for relaxing and reading or gaming/watching Disney+ on our large screen TV, an echo dot that will play calming classical music while I am out of the room, and a padded floor with lots of rugs around for the older pups. When we aren't hanging out in that room, our house has hardwood floors with many rugs to keep paws stable, and tons of dog beds(of all sizes) scattered around for comfort. For potty times, I have a spacious fenced-in yard with plenty of shade! Meal times are at your pet's schedule! I make sure to follow any feeding and medication schedules you provide. My husband works from home, so if I am delayed due to traffic from an errand or such, he can let the pups out to potty or give time-sensitive medications/feedings. Pups are crated or placed in a separate room for Meal times and during Potty rotations to ensure no one gets too rowdy and no one becomes aggressive over their food. About: I have been caring for animals for my entire life and have always adored learning about them and working with them. I will care for any kind of animal of any temperament and will provide an abundance of love, as caring for pets is very fulfilling for me and improves my mental wellbeing :) I am currently working as a vet assistant and will try to update my Rover schedule each month around my schedule at the vet. About: Hello, I am excited to meet you and your pup. I have worked professionally in clinic and in behavior for the last 21 years. I am a positive reinforcement based trainer for Good Pup. I have 3 personal fur babies and I foster with Save Rocky The Great Dane Rescue. I am currently working part time time so I have time in my schedule to devote to your fur kids. I have a doggie door for the emergency potties and I enjoy training so that can be part of the routine. I have a fenced in yard and I am able to provide mental enrichment as well as physical walks/Sniffari adventures and I have personal pups to keeps your busy! I have the ability to crate and even do drop bys at your house if needed.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was four years old. In the last five years I have traveled the country and dog/house sat in 8 states for neighbors, friends, family, and friends of. I have had experience in puppy training and working with dogs of all ages and size. I will treat your dog as if it were my own best friend! I am responsible and reliable and if I am free I will help as soon as possible! I like to provide fun updates to owners about the adventures their dogs and I have. Warning: You may come home to your dog wanting to go home with me. I work remote so my schedule is wide open as far as availability is concerned.. If that changes I will communicate it. If I am with your dogs they are my first priority. I am laid back and very flexible. I take the care of your best friend very serious. I try to keep your dog on the same schedule that you keep them on, although they may get longer walks and more belly and shoulder rubs with me.
About: I’ve been taking care of family, friends, and neighbors pets since I was 10 years old. I’ve taken care of animals of all ages from puppies to senior animals. I work at a school, so this is not my full time job. It would be best to contact me directly for my availability and to figure out what works best for you and your pet(s). I prefer to do meet and greets so I can see the pet(s) usual environment and learn more about where I’ll be staying. I never take pets outside without a leash on for safety reasons.
About: I have been a pet owner for as long as I can remember. Being raised in a house full of pets! From birds, dogs, cats, ferrets, rats, all types of pets are welcome and I Have had experience with raising puppies from birth as well. I have had 5 liters of puppies and trained them personally and adopted them out. I am a stay at home mom, expecting my 2nd child who is due Jan 2023. I am able to up and move at any given time and flexible when it comes to walking or caring for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood and have a area to walk the dog(s) close by. I have a home where I am able to keep a crate if needed, I am also able to have them roam the home is that is what is desired. Or can come to your home if they are more comfortable there.
