I fostered a pitt, Frenchie, and a mastiff overseas as well. Very comfortable providing care needed and medication. About: I have 3 dogs in my family and assist taking care of them on the daily. They are a mixture of breeds and big and small. I have also been dog sitting for various breeds and sizes for an extended amount of time! In addition to our three dogs, there is also a bunny in the family that I assist in caretaking for! I will be completing my first fieldwork placement for my Occupational Therapy program at a clinic in Gainesville, VA. I will be working and commuting there from the morning til about 6 pm Monday through Thursday and will be home and available on the weekends. I am more than happy and available to stay overnight. I have a fenced in yard at home that we let my three dogs out in. We have three dogs with vastly different personalities so have ample experience in reading personalities and knowing boundaries for different types and how to step in and correct. Also with having a rabbit, I am experienced with different animal relationships and how they can interact.

We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: I have worked in pet care/home care for over a decade! I work as a dog walker for a company in Berryville, and I also work as a groomer for a Newfoundland Breeder with show dogs. I have had experience as a vet technician as well! I am comfortable will all types of dogs and would love to meet yours❤️ I provide daily dog walking services and breaks, in home boarding or house sitting. Dog walking and pet care is more then simply providing the basics, I appreciate the trust that owners give when having someone provide care for there beloved animals. Respect, genuine love, trust and a building relationship goes into each pet a care for. Pet care is full time for me, and I am available weekly and in the weekends. My schedule is generally flexible and I can usually accommodate even last min requests. However I do occasionally have a fully scheduled week and any house sitting or dog sitting requests would be easier to schedule with a couple weeks notice. “Lori is amazing! She was very responsive to all of our questions during the booking process and took such great care of our dog, Juniper while we were away. This was the first time leaving Juniper with a sitter, so we weren't sure how she would adjust, but we were put at ease right away. Lori took the time to show us around and tell us about how the dogs spend their day in her care. She regularly sent us pictures and updates on how Juniper was doing and we were happy to see what a great time our dog was having. Can't imagine leaving her anywhere else when we go out of town again in the future. Thank you again, Lori!”

“Kelly and her family were great care givers for our male golden doodle Biscuit as we went on a two week vacation. Kelly provided us with updates with pictures each day which gave us great comfort as this was our first prolonged separation from Biscuit. It was also Biscuit’s first prolonged visitation with another dog as Kelly has her own dog named PJ. Biscuit had a great time with PJ and other dogs who were being boarded as well.
