About: I’ve had experience taking care of small animals and big animals since I grew up with both. I currently have older dogs at the house but I also have a pup of my own here as well. I am currently not employed and love to work with animals so this is what I chose to do, I love taking care of animals and always have. I started out taking care of my grandmother’s cats and then got my own when I was 11, taking care of them into their senior years. I have a pet friendly neighborhood with designated pet areas. I live in a safe and quiet neighborhood with sidewalks. About: I have built my life around loving and caring for animals. I have been with my local SPCA for 11 years and have been president for 8 years. My family has rescued and loved many animals throughout our lives and I would like nothing more than to extend that love to your pets. I am available at all times as I have retired and most of my SPCA volunteer work is done from my home. If for whatever reason I am not going to be there I will make sure you will be informed prior to my absence and my husband is available in the rare instance I am not. I have a dog boarding facility that can house up to 17 dogs of all sizes. There is a large outdoor play area and nice cozy accommodations including indoor and outdoor runs. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.
