I have also been dog sitting for various breeds and sizes for an extended amount of time! In addition to our three dogs, there is also a bunny in the family that I assist in caretaking for! I will be completing my first fieldwork placement for my Occupational Therapy program at a clinic in Gainesville, VA. I will be working and commuting there from the morning til about 6 pm Monday through Thursday and will be home and available on the weekends. I am more than happy and available to stay overnight. We have three dogs with vastly different personalities so have ample experience in reading personalities and knowing boundaries for different types and how to step in and correct. About: I have worked in pet care/home care for over a decade! I work as a dog walker for a company in Berryville, and I also work as a groomer for a Newfoundland Breeder with show dogs. About: I love animals and have volunteered at Middleburg Humane Shelter and fostered for them for the past 5 years. My favorite types of dogs are larger working dogs, but the smaller pups require a more delicate skill set that I'm thrilled to provide. Katherine’s knowledge, experience and love for animals was seen clearly through all parts of the process. She is very responsive and getting daily pictures during their stay was just the best! She provided plenty of photos and video updates and followed instructions to a T. She has a big backyard and comfortable looking house in a quiet neighborhood. My dog is usually pretty shy and can take a long time to warm up to new sitters, but he was right at home with Leslie. We’re lucky to have a beautiful setup for pups: a fenced front yard/garden for safe outdoor time, plus an acre of land and nearby dog friendly trails for walks, sniffing, and exploring. Whether your dog loves playtime or prefers a slower pace, I tailor care to their needs and routine. Because I have a young child, I do require that all dogs are comfortable around children. Your dog will be treated like one of our own with plenty of love, structure, and attention so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home while you’re away. I’d love to meet you and your pup! Pet care naturally fits into my daily routine since I’m a stay-at-home mom and home throughout the day. Your dog will be part of our everyday rhythm—morning outdoor time, walks, play, rest, and evening wind-down. “Anahita was scheduled to take care of Rebel and Mae for a couple of days. An unfortunate event caused their stay to be short but she took very good care of them for the short period of time.
