“Taking on a totally unknown dog from a cross-country road trip, IS a risk. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: For years, I've walked the fields and trails along the Potomac River with a furry companion - most recently with Flannery, my family's Great Pyrenees who loved romping in Virginia Bluebell flowers and sinking her paws into mud. Animals have always been a part of my life. I've mucked stalls, herded ewes and lambs, evaded headbutting rams, cuddled pigs, milked goats, trimmed hooves, and named a farm dynasty of cats and kittens names like "Nefertiti" and "Isosceles" (after Egyptian royalty and geometry terms). I grew up on a farm, so being around animals wasn’t just a hobby — it was a way of life. “Outstanding caregiver, by far the best I have seen so far. This was first time we had to leave our puppy to a stranger for multiple days. I was nervous. However, she and her family took good care of LEO, took him out occasionally, sent me photos on regular basis, and kept me updated. I am really happy to find them here and would recommend her to everyone.”

“Alexsys provided us with the best dog care on Rover! We initially had a last minute notice from the previous sitter who had to cancel on us. Alexsys was quick to reply and get us booked. My dog Chase had an amazing time! Alexsys always provided us with pics and updates everyday day, something previous dog sitters didn’t provide unless I asked. She was very friendly and I cold tell my dog liked her. When we can to pick up my dog, we had forgotten his dog bowls. Alexsys was kind enough to drive 30mins to our house and deliver them. She really cares about her clients! We will definitely be using her services again!!”
“What can I say? Sarah was fantastic! The whole experience was so easy and wonderful for our dog. Sarah was flexible and very responsive. Super accommodating. She kept us supplied with lots of updates and photos during the whole visit. Our hound sometimes has anxiety during new experiences but she was so well cared for that she felt immediately at ease when we arrived and through the whole visit. Sarah and her wonderful family took such good care of her that I would absolutely want my dog to stay with her again. Highly recommend!”
