She was open to do a meet and greet before Teddys actual staycation and allowed us to see her home and meet her pets to make sure everyone gets along. “Let's put it this way: my cats, who are sweet, followed Ashlee around like SHE was their owner. Ashlee did an amazing job loving on my boys, handling their medications (we have two cats with asthma, one with arthritis). She kept the house neat, watered the plants and fed the birds, and tolerate my anxious need for daily updates and photos to the point where I was actually able to crawl into bed on vacation only to realize I hadn't fretted over them because I knew they were happy and in good hands. I've never had my boys take to someone else SO well and SO quickly. Cats are finicky creatures, so when they approve, it means something. The meet and greet with D and Ash went amazing and I was instantly comfortable and they were both so kind and gentle and compassionate and really I cannot say enough good things. About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. I am a college student as mentioned before so my current schedule is MWF and Tues and Thurs to be free after 11:15 am. However, I do live on campus in Norfolk at ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking and pet sitting at your residence. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help snd be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. I am constantly on the internet looking for different ways to keep dogs healthy and live a long wonderful life. I currently work part-time, which means my schedule is quite flexible.
