“Let's put it this way: my cats, who are sweet, followed Ashlee around like SHE was their owner. Ashlee did an amazing job loving on my boys, handling their medications (we have two cats with asthma, one with arthritis). She kept the house neat, watered the plants and fed the birds, and tolerate my anxious need for daily updates and photos to the point where I was actually able to crawl into bed on vacation only to realize I hadn't fretted over them because I knew they were happy and in good hands. I've never had my boys take to someone else SO well and SO quickly. Cats are finicky creatures, so when they approve, it means something. The meet and greet with D and Ash went amazing and I was instantly comfortable and they were both so kind and gentle and compassionate and really I cannot say enough good things. It was like entrusting my babies to a good friend. I am excited to have been introduced to them and look forward to using them in the future. “Kelsie did an excellent job while I was out of town for a week. My kitties experienced a bit more separation anxiety than usual, and ended up making a huge mess of the front room. Kelsie informed me of it immediately and was super understanding of it. Since I wasn’t around my phone during that visit and couldn’t tell her where the cleaning sprays were, she waited till I was able to tell her where the items were. Then came back the next day to further clean up the floors! One of my kitties is very weary of new people and she did great with making sure not to stress her out too much.”

About: I enjoy fostering dogs to help get more information about their personalities and in turn help them get adopted. I have also been a dog sitter for family and friends for years. I enjoy practicing my dog training hobby. I believe the more training a dog has the happier they will be. They will know their boundaries and what makes their human happy thus creating a positive environment. I currently work full-time from home therefore daycare or walks are the most ideal services for me. If we have a good established relationship (human to human and dog to human) I am open to overnight says. I have a larger fenced yard however the fence is vertically challenged. About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. In school, my teacher had a pet chameleon and turtle and I always was excited to help feed them. I actually started majoring in Biology at first in college to be a veterinarian or zoologist. I have a different path now to help children but I still have a passion for pets and other beautiful creatures of this Earth. I am a college student as mentioned before so my current schedule is MWF and Tues and Thurs to be free after 11:15 am. However, I do live on campus in Norfolk at ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking and pet sitting at your residence. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help snd be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. About: Your baby will feel right at home with our spacious 1 acre yard. Our hardwood floors make messes easy to clean up, and we always have a basket of toys for every playful pup to enjoy! Our open floor plan allows for your pup to run around and play fetch inside and out. I'm an animal lover, and am equally biased for playful pups as I am lap dogs. Im comfortable administering medication as animals need, soothing pets that have anxiety and specialize in belly rubs and back scratches to help your baby feel confident and safe in their home away from home. I do work full time, but on those days my husband is home to love on the babies so they will never be lonely. We make ourselves available for the friends that come stay with us, and ensure they never feel left out or bored! I keep your babies indoors aside from potty breaks and walks/play time for dogs. I have two dogs and 1 cat who are very friendly and will keep your pet entertained! If a crate is typically where they sleep, we can accommodate!

About: I’ve had animals my whole life. My babies have gone through lots of moves with the military with me and we are finally able to have the animals we want but not the space, so until we have the space, I’d love to help other people take care of their fur babies! I currently work part time, and i’m a home school mama. So my schedule is very flexible to come help take care of your babies when you can’t! About: My first two pets were 2 doggies at 9 months old. I had them for 17 years until they left for doggy heaven October 2024 and February 2025… I am not ready to fully commit again quite yet so decided babysitting and loving on others’ furbabies will help the healing. Work from home all week. Will be able to take care of them in home and overnight if needed! I will accomodate to all requests and needs. Will appreciate details such as age, allergies, health, likes and dislikes. Will treat your baby/babies like they are my own. Will walk them as I have a dog friendly neighborhood as well as a newly built dog park. The backyard is also fenced.

I’ll ensure that your furry friend is well-cared for throughout the day, including feeding, walking, playing, cuddling, and making sure they’re happy while you’re away. I will follow the instructions that are given to me very carefully because every dog is different. I do recommend having us meeting before you leave so I can bond with your fur baby with you there so they are comfortable with me. If you have a certain route you like to take your fur baby for walks or if you have a dog park where your dog can play with other dogs (if they are social) let me know! Otherwise I will walk your fur baby for a minimum of one hour and maybe even take them with me for small store runs in the area (with your permission ofc!).

About: I have many years of experience caring for both dogs and cats. I have a senior dog that I adopted in 2015 and in 2020 I helped raise a puppy from 8 weeks old. They were both raised with kittens as well. Through these experiences, I have learned how to care for different animals of different age groups.
