“I would highly recommend Ellie! This was our first time leaving our dog with someone other than family or close friends and it was stress free! Ellie sent regular updates and photos. “We are overjoyed by our experience with this Rover. It was the first time we had ever left mom’s Chinese Crested with anyone since we brought her home 1-15-21 after mom’s funeral. We have taken her everywhere with us including to Gulf Shores Alabama. We were traveling with a long ferry ride this time and we couldn’t take her. We were updated with text, photos and videos that kept us from worrying about her. She looked very happy and we could concentrate on getting things done and getting back home. When we picked her up we were assured that she always has a safe and familiar place to stay if we needed to bring her back again. We couldn’t be happier with her weekend stay.”

“Amanda and her family are amazing. Oliver had a great time and they took fantastic care of him! We received photos and updates each day! She’s super easy to communicate with and we will definitely be using them again! We felt safe and could enjoy our trip knowing our baby was well taken care of.”

“My dog was loved and cared for by Lynn as if she was still with me! Lynn sent so many pictures and messages which assured me that she was doing well without me. I strongly recommend her as a pet sitter for anyone who loves their pet!”

“This was Pitch's first stay with anyone he did not already know (he is almost 10!) and Tara was FANTASTIC! We are so thankful for how well she cared for him! We have already committed to her watching him again.”

“Ryan & Stephanie were great! They responded quickly to my original request and were extremely good at communication. Most importantly, Hazel felt right at home with this awesome family while we’re out of town. 110% recommend!”

“Brandy and her family were wonderful with our dogs while we went out of town. She kept us updated and sent pictures. Our dogs seemed very comfortable with her. We will definitely use Brandy in the future if we need dog sitting.”

“Erin and the family were great. I needed a sitter for Lyla on short notice and fortunately they were available. The day I picked Lyla up, she slept most of the rest of the day. I took that as a sign that she had a fun time. I would book them again if I have another occasion.”

“Sandra and her family are great! Both of our dogs instantly felt comfortable with them and so did we. We found Sandra to be patient and kind to our boys and had no doubt they were in goods hands while we were away. She checked in with us often to let us know how they were doing. Great job Sandra!”

“Renee was great, I can't say it enough. I'm happy I found her to take care of our two dogs. She was very flexible and treated them like her own. They loved her huge yard and had tons of playtime with other dogs. We will definitively have them stay with Renee for our next vacation.”
“What a God send! Janeen is such a kind and caring individual with obvious patience and compassion. She asked all kinds of follow up questions to make sure kitty would be as comfortable as possible in his home away from home. Janeen was very communicative and sent pictures and videos throughout the day every day. The family even moved some items around to allow kitty to climb on and around freely. I wish I lived closer to this wonderful family as I would 100% use their services again. They were thoughtfully accommodating knowing we were already away from home on vacation and even made some suggestions for local activities my family and I could visit. Do not scroll pass this couples profile I highly recommend this home for your pet baby needs.”

“My dog, Teddy, absolutely loved staying with Savannah H and family! As soon as we arrived on the farm, Teddy didn’t turn back - he loved the environment and was ready to meet new friends. Savannah sent pictures so I knew that he was having fun and doing well. I was actually sad for Teddy that his stay was only for one night! I highly recommend Savannah H as she’s super kind and loves all animals!”

“Allison became a part of Luna's family while we were out of the country for 10 days. It was immediately clear from each photo how comfortable our pup was feeling. In addition, I was able to trust Allison to keep an eye on our home and property. We returned to a very relaxed content doggy and home in tip top shape.”

“Sheryl was great with our dog and cat while we were away for the holidays. She was caring, attentive, and followed our instructions for medications to a T. I would definitely recommend to book with her!”

About: I’ve been trusted with homes and pets since 2008, when house sitting first came into my life organically through friends and people I knew who traveled. They needed someone dependable to stay in their homes, care for their pets, and keep an eye on things while they were away. Long before I knew professional house sitting was a thing, I was already doing it. My hands on pet care experience became even more personal when I became the primary caregiver for Angel, my senior Shih Tzu. I managed her complete day to day care, including feeding, walks, bathing, grooming appointments, veterinary visits, medication administration, companionship, and the changing needs that come with caring for an older dog. Today, I bring that same patience and attentiveness to the pets entrusted to me through professional house sitting. I have experience caring for senior dogs, administering medication, maintaining established routines, providing companionship, and adapting my care to each pet’s individual personality and needs. But what truly distinguishes me is everything else I bring through the front door. I’m a U.S. Air Force disabled veteran and retired IT professional with 26 years of experience. My career included systems engineering, cybersecurity, incident response, and positions requiring a Top Secret security clearance. I’m also a former real estate professional and longtime homeowner with firsthand experience managing renovations, repairs, contractors, maintenance, and the unexpected situations that come with caring for a property. That experience matters when you’re trusting someone with your home and pets. If something doesn’t look right, I notice. If detailed instructions need to be followed, I follow them. If something unexpected happens, I know how to assess the situation, communicate clearly, and determine when immediate attention is needed. I understand privacy, security, accountability, and what it means to be trusted with someone else’s property. I don’t simply stay in your home and feed your pets. I tend to what you’ve entrusted to me, your pets, your home, their routines, and the everyday details that allow you to leave with confidence. Because you’re not simply trusting someone to feed the dog. You’re trusting someone with your home and a member of your family. You roam. I tend. 🏡🐾🌍 My schedule is flexible, which allows me to provide attentive house and pet sitting based on each client’s needs. I work to maintain your pet’s normal feeding, walking, medication, playtime, and bedtime routines while you’re away. Because I stay in your home, I can provide consistent companionship and care while also keeping an eye on your home and everyday details. I provide attentive, individualized care based on each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, medication when needed, and plenty of attention. I follow the pet parent’s instructions closely and prioritize maintaining a safe, comfortable, and calm environment throughout their stay.

About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. I am comfortable with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, and providing companionship while respecting each cat's unique temperament. Having lived with and cared for cats my whole life, I understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for them.

About: I have 3 years of professional experience working in the animal industry and currently work at a veterinary hospital, where I provide hands-on care to a variety of pets every day. My experience has given me a strong understanding of animal behavior, health, safety, and the individual needs of different pets. I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats of different ages, sizes, breeds, and temperaments, including pets who may require extra patience, medication, or specialized care. Working in a veterinary environment has also taught me how to recognize changes in behavior or health and respond appropriately when a pet may not be feeling their best. When caring for your pets, my priority is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routines as closely as possible. I understand that every pet is different, and I’m happy to follow detailed instructions regarding feeding, walks, medications, exercise, and other specific needs. You can feel confident knowing that your pets are in the care of someone with professional animal-care experience who genuinely enjoys helping animals and treating every pet as if they were my own.

“Ellie G. is a great communicator with photo updates. The daycare day went well and Annie O was introduced to Ellie’s chickens and I’m sure she wanted to get a little closer but Ellie was great keeping Annie away from them. Annie also met Ellie’s dog and it appears that they both made a new friend. The day was a success.”

About: I have taken care of dogs most of my life, helped with friends and family animals. I have done training with most of my dogs as well. I am a new resident in the area and love animals. I am retired and not working at this time. I am very reliable and will take good care of your pets. I have a large fenced in back yard and 2 small dogs for playmates with your fur babies. I would love to care for them.
“Lynn is very nice and kept me updated. Every so often she sent me pictures of Annie and their outings. Very communicative. I love that. We will definitely use Lynn again and will recommend her to friends. All in all it was a great day for Annie.”

About: I am a lover of all animals. I currently have 4 goats, 10 pot bellied pigs, 5 cats. and 3 dogs and almost all of my pets are rescues. Your babies will get great care and attention when I visit or stay over. I will respect and abide by any rules you personally have regarding that. I work my full time job from home so your pet will get 24-hour care as well as lots of love and attention if over night stays are needed. I love going on walks with pets, and guarantee I can tire them out, even the most energetic of them by playing ball or any other thing they like. Plenty of time for play and walks. I can administer oral or injectable meds if needed. I know I am the perfect person to love and care for your pet while you are away. You can have the peace of mind knowing they are loved and cared for as if they were part of our family. I have spent my entire life around animals! My mother raised and bred Dobermans for many years and we took in rescue dogs as fosters. I also grew up around horses and other farm animals. I am comfortable with any breed so long as they are pet and people friendly. Since I personally have owned and currently own animals, I really understand the value of making them part of the family, not just a "pet" I look forward to hearing from you! I work full ti.e from home. Whereever there is wifi i can work which gives me lots of flexibility. I am able schedule around my calls easily. I spend time outside playing when applicable and allow for plenty of cuddle time. I often send pics so you will always see and know that your baby is doing fine.

About: We’re a dog-loving family with experience caring for dogs of different ages, sizes, and energy levels. We have two dogs of our own: a senior Lab/hound mix and a middle-aged Great Dane. We’re comfortable with everything from energetic playtime to older dogs who prefer a slower pace, and we’re happy to follow your dog’s normal routines, feeding schedule, and house rules. We both work hybrid schedules, so someone is home with the dogs most of the time. Dogs get regular outdoor breaks throughout the day and plenty of attention and interaction. We’re happy to accommodate dogs who need more activity as well as those who are content to relax and hang out with us. We have a large, fenced-in yard where dogs can safely get outside and play. Our fence is approximately 3 feet high and made of hog wire, so we’re best suited for dogs who aren’t jumpers or determined escape artists. Our own dogs respect the boundary. We also have a dog-loving 4-year-old, so dogs must be comfortable and safe around children. Our dogs are friendly and accustomed to sharing their space with other dogs. At night, visiting dogs sleep downstairs on their own dog bed or one of our designated “dog couches.” Crate-trained dogs are welcome to use their crate if that is what makes them most comfortable.

About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY night thru SUNDAY. morning. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. See my reviews / testimonials on the WAG! platform for pets I have provided care for most recently. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.
About: I've been caring for animals since I was 7 years old, and my love for pets has only grown over the years. As an adult, I worked at an animal shelter, where I gained hands-on experience caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, needs, and backgrounds. I have also adopted and cared for three dogs of my own throughout every stage of their lives, from energetic puppies to senior dogs requiring extra patience, attention, and specialized care. This experience has given me a strong understanding of daily pet care, administering medications, recognizing changes in behavior, and providing the love and comfort pets need to feel safe and happy. I treat every pet as if they were my own and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy to care for your furry family members. Whether your pet needs a long walk, playtime, companionship, or extra attention due to age or special needs, I am committed to providing reliable, compassionate care while you're away. I am currently in between jobs, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to provide your pets with the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. Whether your furry family member enjoys playtime, walks, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I can tailor my care to their individual needs and routine. As a lifelong pet owner with experience caring for both dogs and cats of all ages, I understand how important it is to ensure pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. From energetic puppies and playful kittens to senior pets who need a little extra patience and care, I am committed to treating every animal as if they were my own. I have a fully fenced backyard with a 5-foot chain-link fence, providing a safe and secure space for your pet to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. I do not have neighbors directly adjacent to my yard, so there is minimal concern about pets being distracted or stressed by animals on the other side of the fence. I am a lifelong animal lover and currently share my home with a senior dog, whom I've raised since she was 8 weeks old, and a young cat who has been part of our family since he was 8 weeks old as well. Having cared for pets through every stage of life—from playful puppies and kittens to senior pets requiring extra attention—I understand that every animal has unique needs and routines. When your pet stays with me, they will be treated like a member of the family. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment where they can feel at home while you're away. I personally allow my pets on the furniture, but I fully respect each owner's preferences. If your pet has specific rules, routines, feeding schedules, medication needs, or restrictions, just let me know and I will be happy to follow them to ensure consistency and comfort during their stay. I believe communication is important, so I am also happy to provide updates, photos, and messages while your pet is in my care, giving you peace of mind knowing they are safe, happy, and well loved.
