“Shannon and her family were wonderful. We were anxious about leaving him for one week, and Shannon sent pictures and supervised his play with other great fur babies. It was a heat wave and the Fourth of July, and the pictures she sent showed he was happy and healthy with his new buddies. They played all the time but did manage to sleep, It was great knowing that he had his vacation while we had ours. Shannon's house is beautiful and cool and there couldn't be a better doggie hotel. He has a family now that we can leave him with when we travel.”

About: There have also been pets in my house and I have also made myself available to pet sit for friends and family. I am flexible in when and how to care for your smallest or largest family member. I am a runner so I would love to have a buddy join me on a run, jog, or even a walk. I can care for your pup at my house or your house which ever one you would be comfortable with. About: I’ve always loved animals. I currently have 3 cats and 1 dog. I’m a sucker for helping out special needs animals as well. 2 of my cats are special needs and one of my dogs is as well. I’ve fostered and rescued many (sick and well) animals in the past 8 years. I also have experience with animals (specially dogs) who have epilepsy and neurological issues. I currently work part time so I spend most of my day just hanging with my own animals at home. I was happy with our first sitter, but LuLu spent her time there just sniffing their yard and snuggling up on the couch with the sitter. She barely ate and wouldn't play with their dog. It was such a delight to see how happy LuLu was at Rebecca's place. She ran around the yard like I haven't seen her do since she was a puppy. When Rebecca thought LuLu needed a rest and brought her inside, LuLu whined to go back out, so out she went for more running around! Finally, she took a nap on the couch, then got up and ate all of her dinner. Then she settled down chewing on her toy until we came back for her. She was happy to see us, but gave Rebecca a tail wag when they said goodbye. I'm so glad LuLu found a place where she can thrive when we're gone. Now I won't hesitate to book a vacation! Rebecca was very attentive to the history I gave her about LuLu and my instructions about her routine and fears. We did a Meet & Greet on short notice, and Rebecca showed LuLu and me her back yard and inside her house. She assured me that she would never give LuLu an opportunity to run away. The way Rebecca gave me updates all day long assured me that LuLu was being well cared for and was having a great time. Rebecca is definitely Lulu's new sitter. I couldn't be happier with her care.”

“Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. About: I’ve taken care of my own dog and watched my neighbors dog, making sure they are well fed, get enough time outside and feel loved while their families are away! I’m currently doing odd jobs over the summer and because of this, I am able to spend a lot of time with your pets! I did think that this was a dog walk for an hour but it seems that it was just him playing out in the yard so definitely not what I thought I had paid for. However, whatever was done did work. So no offense I’m gonna see if I can find somebody who will walk him and see if it has even better results. I will keep you in mind if I need a long-term sitter like for a day or two days or a week. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was about 6. I’ve trained puppies and taken care of senior dogs. I’m an expert walker and love to play with all kinds of fur-babies! I do have a full time job but my morning is always open along with the full days on my days off which is two days a week. After meeting David, our fears dissipated and we felt pretty confident that Olive would enjoy her stay. David has a calm, gentle demeanor, and Olive seemed relaxed around him from the beginning. We enjoyed the daily pictures of Olive that he texted to us. We will definitely ask David again if we need someone to watch our dog!”

We also had our return flight canceled because of the Microsoft crash (July 2024) and we needed to get home, so we rented a car to drive home instead. About: I began volunteering at my local animal shelter at the age of 9 and have been caring for animals ever since. I have 20 years experience pet sitting for neighbors and I have my own 6 year old pitbull, Cleo, so I’m no stranger to energetic dogs. I’m a teacher, so my summers give me full flexibility to care for your animals! I love to walk dogs on local greenways and trails. I have a fenced in backyard where your dog can play.
