“We left our doggie with Ari while traveling for two weeks and we couldn't have asked for anyone better to look after him. Our special boy is a senior Schnoodle that we rescued last year from a breeder situation gone really bad. Ari and her family welcomed him with open arms and treated him like he was one of the family. She sent daily updates and we thought our boy may not want to come home after seeing how much fun he was having in the photos. Also, he made a new best friend with the family dog Apollo. Currently I work from home, a light schedule as I’m testing to obtain another specialty license. In my daily life I used to foster dogs for a rescue. Most of my fosters came from very rough beginnings and had many social and/or anxiety issues but we have been able to overcome them💙 With that being said I totally understand how some dogs are unsure of new people and I’m 100% willing to take the time needed to get to know your fur baby. I do currently have an iguana in his own enclosure and I have extensive reptile knowledge and I’m willing to assist with those as well. I currently have a light schedule that I work from home, so I am available for a lot of pet care needs. I do frequent bathroom visits play, and meal time. I am 100% about safety first. I will not accept any new dogs that will put anyone else in jeopardy. Although I have experience in housing a large number of dogs from my time fostering out in Goochland, and my time working in a doggy daycare, I do not wish to take on a large number of dogs at any one time.

About: While I don't have cats of my own, I have lived with family member cats and also had to give pills to them. I can't hang out and pet them all day, however, since I'm allergic, but I will give them love and attention (and dutifully wash my hands) on drop-in visits and will also feed them, talk to them, and clean the litter box if needed.

Before having children, I worked at a doggy daycare, where I learned to care for multiple pets at once. His name is Maverick! He's 2 and such a loving, happy dude! I currently dog sit my mom's 3 Boston Terriors whenever she needs to go out of town and have been since I was a teenager. I also take in my best friend's older pit bull, Cookie, and her and Maverick get along wonderfully! There's plenty of space to walk dogs around my apartment community, along with a fenced in tennis court area where they can run free! I work full time AT HOME so I'm flexible just looking to make some extra money I work from home Monday through Friday, and am available most weekends, so I have lots of time and flexibility to care for your doggos! I live in an apartment but it's very dog friendly! I will ensure your dog gets lots of attention and love! I have access to lots of trails, open pet areas, and a fenced in tennis court where they can run free and we can play fetch! My dog is very friendly and has lots of experience around other dogs. About: Ever since i was a young girl my family called me the family’s animal lover. i’ve always had love for animals of all types. I worked as a bather in Georgia at a dog groomers for a year before moving here to Virginia. would love to meet and take care of your pup! About: I’ve owned and cared for furry (scaled and feathered!) friends my whole life. From cats and dogs, to guinea pigs and bunnies, to fish and birds. I even have experience caring for sugar gliders and a ball python. Since it’s a long commute and I’m typically called the morning of, I try to keep Monday and Tuesday open to sub if needed. I am more than willing to do virtual and in person meet and greets to learn pet needs and routines. I prefer to meet in person to get acquainted with your pet while they feel safe in your presence (but I’ve never met a pet I didn’t click with and love immediately.) I’ll accept any additional written/typed outlines detailing your pets care if that’s easier than leaving notes in the app. You name it and I’ll do it; whatever is best for you and your fur baby. Dogs under my care will enjoy long walks and dog parks trips where applicable. If you have a puppy (or dog) in training, I love to partner in their learning using whatever commands you prefer. Kitties under my care will get lots of playtime with wands and lasers, as well as tons of snuggles.

I also have experience in small farm/homestead. Including chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, goats, etc... I would treat your animals like my own. I can also water plants, gather mail, etc... About: I’ve taken care of 2 of my parent’s dogs twice all by myself and they said I did a good job, both times. I feed them, take them outside, and play with them in the backyard. I’m unemployed at the moment so i’ll have a ton of free time to take care of your pets. I’m available on weekdays and weekends. About: I am a 26yr old, active, organized and compassionate mom looking for some extra hours. I grew up on a horse farm with a couple dozen cats, and multiple dogs of all sizes over the years. From English mastiffs to Chihuahuas. My own pup bodhi LOVES playing tag and wrestling. We own our home. There are baby gates throughout to separate the dogs from the playroom, daughter’s bedroom, and kitchen when we’re eating. We have a 6 foot fully fenced backyard with cameras. Before moving into my own home, we shared a house with 5 other dogs/roommates which they got along with well. I don’t mind animals being on furniture as long as they have boundaries, they’re welcome to get up and snuggle. We have multiple dog beds, two couches and a love seat the animals can lay on. As well as a cat tree, two litter boxes, and cat beds in the windowsills for sunbathing baby’s. I have a 3yr old daughter that has grown up around animals. Rats, cats, snakes, small and large dogs, ect. and loves the daily feeding and petting new friends. We wake up around 8:30am, let the dogs out, fill water bowls and eat breakfast while the dogs play in the yard. Depending on the weather, the dogs like to stay out for awhile! Once it starts to heat up they come in to relax. They let us know when they want to come and go usually. They go out again around 5pm-6pm, eat on the patio, then come inside to chill. They go out again at least once before bed, sometimes more often. Really easy going. They have toys inside and outside, as well as water bowls. We go for a walk on the weekends or cool evenings with my daughter in the stroller. They have dog friend that come to play often. I have blink security cameras that I can see and talk to the dogs on while I am not there. My dogs stay out around the house when I leave but we do also have two XL kennels incase. We also have baby gates to seperste if someone needs some alone time. We feed our visiting doggos in a separate room to avoid any possible food aggravation but there is always water down 24/7.

“This was our first-time using Miranda and she made us feel comfortable from the very start. We started with a pre-stay meet and greet to make sure our dogs got along, and everything went perfectly. Miranda did an awesome job with Draco from the time we dropped him off until the time we picked him up. She sent us many videos and pics and in all of them he looked super happy. It really seemed that he had acclimated and became a part of her family, and they treated him as such. He also really enjoyed playing with their son and their beautiful chocolate lab. We will definitely be using her again in the near future.
