“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. About: Clara is my first cat, and I’ve raised her since she was a kitten. She came litter-box trained, but I’ve kept up with regular cleaning and deep-cleaning to keep her space fresh and comfortable. When she was spayed, I handled her after-care and medication, so I’m comfortable giving meds and supporting cats through recovery. I love keeping her happy and stimulated, so I’m always rotating toys and creating fun ways for her to play. Caring for Clara has taught me a lot about feline routines, body language, and the little details that make cats feel safe and loved.

About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. I strive to provide a stress-free, comforting environment while you are away so please let me know what your pup loves the most! What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding with a prior meet and greet* if your dog gets along with the two dogs in our home. About: I have taken care of all size dogs, I love all animals so I am not afraid of them and know that they need to gain trust. I am a nursing student at the University of Lynchburg, I would be honored to take care of your fur baby! Able to take last minute or short notice requests if need be. Able to walk them, check on them, give them medicine if needed. I love to play with them and fulfill the basic needs the owner has requested.
About: I’ve been pet sitting for about 6 years and I’ve worked at multiple doggy daycares and with an independent pet care company. I can administer all medications including injections. I’m currently an full time student online so I have plenty of free time to care for any fur babies. I don’t have too many scheduling restrictions! I have a poodle and a labradoodle who have been in daycare a few times, they’re very friendly and enjoy play. I have about an acre of land that’s fenced in so there’s lots of room to run and play!
