About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.

At the age of 13 I volunteered at a local pets store, started working on a farm at 15 which then lead me to being AKC showmanship trained and traveling to show Shetland Sheepdogs professionally. After that, I ventured off to college and started my professional life. Along the way I have always had a pet or 2 by my side and would have had a zoo if my husband would have allowed it! I have rehabilitated and re-homed dogs and cats who either had some type of illness or behaviors. I love animals and will love yours too! Our doggo Jordi took a liking to her immediately and we were so happy to leave him in the care of a loving family instead of a nameless/faceless boarding facility. Jordi only stayed one night, but we received multiple photos and videos and messages about his activities and it was such a relief knowing he was so well cared for.
