I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”

“Kathryn was my Cat sitter for six days recently when I was out of state. I have an old cat with a lot of needs and takes medicine and I was worried about leaving her because she hadn’t done well before with other Pet Sitter‘s but with Kathryn it was amazing. She is so knowledgeable and kind and kept me informed everything and the best part is that when I returned, my cat was doing well. She made sure our grouchy old lady always ate and was brushed, and she spent time to try and bond with her too. Pam kept their boxes spotless and entertained our two younger heathens with treats and brushing every day. Everyone’s fur is soft and clean and they all are well fed and seemed happy and calm when we returned! No urgent “where have you BEEN” meows like usual when we leave them for a shorter time! Pam even suggested that she put music on the radio for them and did and I think they really liked it! Overall excellent to over the top care provided for our furry family and respect for our home too despite the icy treacherous conditions of our driveway!!”

About: I’ve owned both dogs and cats and have cared for several family members’ pets for over 20 years! I’m a huge animal lover and miss having one of my own. I’m a stay-at-home-mom of 3 kids so I have plenty of time to walk and play! My schedule is extremely flexible and I’m available on weekends. I have an unfenced yard and live 20 feet from the Crozet trail system, right next to Claudius Crozet Park. We don’t have any pets of our own but my three kids (ages 4, 5 & 6) are very active and will play all day with your pet. About: I have taken care of our elderly farm dogs for 2 years and a rambunctious new pup this year who has lots of energy! I have also helped my mom take care of her cats since I was 18. “Hillary was very communicative, flexible, and friendly. She was very attentive to our feeding/medicine instructions and communicated with me about what would be best. She did so much to help our dog, Marty, settle in. Marty came home happy and exhausted.”

Mac immediately felt safe, happy, and at home - and I can tell he did because Amy sent plenty of photos and videos to give me that assurance. Mac fell in love with her too right away and made some dog friends! Mac and I found our new go-to! PS - if you live a little farther out, it's so worth the drive.”

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
