“MAGGIE AND HER FAMILY AND EINSTEIN ARE THE BEST!! My girlfriend and I are traveling and needed somewhere for my little pup to stay for a few hours pretty last minute. Maggie responded very quickly and was able to look after my Piper. Piper can get a little nervous around other dogs but Einstein was super gentle and sweet so she was just fine. Not only did Maggie take care of Piper, but so did her family, which Piper loved! She got so many snuggles from everyone and I have the pictures of it… which is another great thing about Maggie. She will send you pictures throughout your pups stay which I appreciated SO MUCH! I have never left Piper with anyone before so was very nervous about it. Getting picture updates was great and Piper looked so happy in every single one! And she really loved going for a walk with Maggie and Einstein! We don’t live in Williamsburg, but if I did, I would ask Maggie to look after Piper if I ever need to leave her. About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. I am comfortable with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, and providing companionship while respecting each cat's unique temperament. About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.

I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. About: I am a professional dog trainer specializing in Gun Dogs, Obedience Training, and Boarding. I run a small, clean, temperature controlled kennel from my home. Pet Care is my Full time job since retiring from the Military. My day begins at 0500 airing dogs, cleaning and sanitizing kennel spaces, and training. I am typically with the dogs until 10pm when I put them away for the night. Kennel is safe clean and temperature controlled. I am able to administer meds in any way shape or form and have done the off leash K9 training with two of my own dogs now, so am aware of some basic commands. About: I've been taking care of dogs since I was little. I adore all breeds, ages, and sizes. I'm very attentive, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs. About: What most sets us apart is the level of care we give and how flexible our schedules are. Your dog will likely never be alone. They will also receive organic free range egg and meat snacks as a topper for their kibble, and if they are not at risk for eating chickens, they will have a large 2 acre fenced area to explore and run. If they do want to eat chickens, they will still receive two daily forest walk or runs and be free in the smaller pen or on a line. DIVERSE EXPERIENCE We have experience with all kinds of dogs, all ages and temperaments. We will ensure the puppies get proper potty training and are on a proper schedule (can be exactly as you specify). We can also help your dog to not jump up, not pull on the leash, and he'll with basic training like recall, sit, stay. We have cared for many an elderly dog helping them be as comfortable as possible. I was able to help a grieving dog, who did not want to do much of anything, to enjoy running through the woods and playing again. We also have safely had a blind dog in our care as well. I have been around dogs all my life, and I know how to help timid dogs relax, when to give them space and when they need me to simply love on them. For example, we had one dog who would run away from you, but when we finally set him on the couch and pet him he just about melted into a snuggly ball! TRAINING & PHILOSOPHIES I am often learning more about dog psychology and training methods. I only support dominance hierarchies to the extent that it helps the dog. If a dog believes they must be in control because they don’t have a good leader, they will be more stressed out. This is unfair to the dog. I will never be unnecessarily rough with your pet though and I use positive reinforcement first. I have used this experience with success on friends’ and acquaintances’ dogs, as well as my own. My dog sits for over a minute until I tell him to Come. I see each animal as a unique soul who is here to experience and learn. I will be patient with your pet, kind but firm, and we will have loads of fun! FLEXIBLE SCHEDULES I can accommodate many schedules, including crate training. I can bring the crate along if we will be gone longer than a half hour visiting the neighboring farm. I can ensure your pet is kept to whatever feeding and potty schedules they are comfortable with, especially with potty training puppies. I have one dog: a whippet mix. I let him in and out as he chooses, and have a couple acres for him to run and play on. I am currently working on the perimeter fence also. Scoop and I often play fetch. I love going for runs and walks and would happily bring your pup along, depending on his or her energy level. I have a healthy understanding of how to keep a healthy leash contact with the dog, and if need be, I am quite strong if I need to keep the dog from running. I like to use incredibly long leashes if the dog is a flight risk but doesn't pull too hard so they have room to explore.
About: Hi! I currently have a boxer/shiba Inu and a rescue puppy. My boxer/shiba went through an intensive training program where I was taught how to train a dog as well so I’m great with dogs. I love dogs (maybe more than people lol) and whenever there’s a dog around me my heart melts and I just want to play with them and take care of all the pups!! I am currently a teacher and work Monday-Friday. I walk and/ or feed the pets I’m worked with before work and then again after work as well as play time. In the weekends I’m home all day long as well as in the summer months. I care for all animals as if they were my own. All animal get attention, scheduled meals, and exercise. I also have gates to separate animals if necessary.
About: I’ve worked in pet care professionally for 9 years, 4 of those years being spent in veterinary medicine. I approach pet care in ways that makes the pets most comfortable and value building relationships with the pets as much as I do my clients. I have an academic background in public health and am currently pursuing higher education with the end goal of earning a DVM. I am currently working full time at an animal hospital in Newport News, making my schedule more limited than it used to be for my pet sitting clients. My schedule is more workable for households located in Deltaville, Topping, Gloucester, Glouster Point, Hayes and Yorktown. Morning and evening visits are possible all days of the week, mid day / afternoon visits are currently limited to weekends. Please reach out to ask about scheduling possibilities! Early AM (before 7:30AM) and evening (after 6pm) visits available all week. Afternoon / mid day visits are dependent on location and day, but open every weekend. I do not let dogs off-leash in non-fenced in areas or in spaces with dogs unfamiliar to yours. I require all dogs and cats to be updated on their rabies vaccines. I will not take an unaltered dog outside of his or her home, this is for the safety and wellbeing of your dog. If your dog struggles with behavioral issues and has a history of aggression, please include this in your message so I can help you decide the best options for your pet when it comes to meeting a new pet sitter. If your dog struggles with severe anxiety (this is very common!) please include some of the best anxiety-reducing practices for your dog (ex. favorite blanket, hiding spots, calming treats / jackets) in their care instructions so that they can have the best time possible without their favorite human.
About: I have taken care of other peoples pets since I was a teenager. I have done drop ins and over night care for dogs and cats! I know fur babies are family and I take very good care of them. I have two dogs and four cats of my own! I would love the chance to let your pet get out and potty/stretch during the day or evening while you’re away. I am currently a stay at home mom. I have a lot of free time during the week as well as weekends. I can be available during the times of 8:30am-7:30pm or additional times if needed! I can let your dogs out to play and potty in your yard, if you don’t have a fenced in area I can put them on a leash and walk them. I can accommodate most things, just let me know your needs!

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.
