Denver is almost 14 and so giving him the love and attention he’d get as the only dog in the home was really important to us, and not having to worry about him getting stressed out by younger dogs who constantly wanted to play for 6 days. We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy. Denver is a finicky eater especially when not at home and they were great about paying attention and giving some treats here and there to get his appetite going. We would definitely leave Denver with them again!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats for over 20 years, pets are my passion! I am also a former Petshotel and Doggie Day Camp Manager for a national chain and have extensive experience handling dogs, cats, and small pets of all sizes and breeds. I am currently accepting small and medium sized dogs for in house day care and overnight stays. I specialize in small and delicate breed types, not usually suited for kenneling or vet boarding. All fur babies will be treated as family members while here! They can sit on the couch, sleep on the bed, and watch TV with us just like at home. Some larger "gentle giants" can be considered on a case by case basis, just reach out. I believe pets are family! All pets in my care are treated with loving and gentle guidance using only positive reinforcement. All dogs will remain on leash the entirety of their walk. We have a fenced in area off the back patio for bathroom breaks with wood chips as ground coverage. No grass of any kind for the safety of those pets with grass and skin allergies.

I grew up with labs (mostly ) but now have Gizmo, a labrodoodle , who will soon become BDE (best dog ever) if he can finally learn how to not jump like a kangaroo when he sees his dog friends. We set up a meet and greet during which my pup, Maizy displayed some anxiety, but Tina was not deterred. She knew Maizy needed to warm up at her pace and she got some treats right away to help build up some trust! She sent pictures and really helped me feel at ease that Maizy was well cared for! I have had 5 liters of puppies and trained them personally and adopted them out. I am a stay at home mom, expecting my 2nd child who is due Jan 2023. I am able to up and move at any given time and flexible when it comes to walking or caring for pets. I live in a pet friendly neighborhood and have a area to walk the dog(s) close by. I have a home where I am able to keep a crate if needed, I am also able to have them roam the home is that is what is desired. Or can come to your home if they are more comfortable there.

Amy had great attention to detail- Luna is a poodle so we always pack a brush in case it’s needed, but have no specific expectations with it, since it’s definitely labor of love! Amy is the first Rover sitter to actually brush her! We would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking to board their pup!”
“We were so happy to leave our boy, Denver, with Jesse and Emily. Denver is almost 14 and so giving him the love and attention he’d get as the only dog in the home was really important to us, and not having to worry about him getting stressed out by younger dogs who constantly wanted to play for 6 days. We couldn’t have been happier. Denver was right at home, getting walks that he loves as well as plenty of chill time and attention from Jesse and Emily as well as their two girls. Jesse and Emily were great about sending us photo updates that let us know that Denver was comfy and happy. Denver is a finicky eater especially when not at home and they were great about paying attention and giving some treats here and there to get his appetite going. We would definitely leave Denver with them again!”

“Hillary is a great sitter. A dog lover, she was so engaged and involved with our 2 Goldens during the week they stayed with her and her family. She sent multiple pictures, videos, and texts every day. The dogs were in great shape when we picked them up and it was clear that that they had been very well cared for. It is so comforting to know that your beloved pets are in good hands and Hillary exudes that type of confidence in her care. We are empty nesters and could tell from the videos and pics that the dogs loved playing with her children. I highly recommend Hillary!”

“Alexandra and Logan were wonderful with my (sometimes overly) curious terrier, Eddie! I am always concerned about Eddie escaping to chase an animal, and they took my concerns seriously and took steps to ensure that wouldn't happen. Their fence setup was great too - the fenced-in yard wraps all the way around the house, so even if a dog slipped out of the house, they would still be in the yard. On top of that, they sent lots of pictures and were so kind to Eddie. He didn't want to leave!”
