His living conditions and care was superb. When we picked up our cat, he was super relaxed and in great condition. Kudos to Paul and Terri for being so caring and professional boarding animals left in their care.”

“Megan was amazing I recently boarded my rescue Prince for the first time, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! Megan took such amazing care of Prince during his two-night stay. She went above and beyond—sending me some of the best photos and videos I’ve ever had of him, including clips of him playing and socializing with larger dogs (which was a first for him!). It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. When I picked him up, it was clear he had an incredible time—he was almost sad to leave! He even made a new best friend with her dog, Kava. I’m so grateful for the care and attention Megan gave, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!”

“Kaitlin was awesome. She took our dog on short notice, over a busy week. Really appreciative of her taking her on such short notice. Sent pictures often, and let us know how she was doing. Our dog was nervous in a strange home, but she was understanding of that.”

“Sochi second time with MsCrystal, Sochi loves it there.MsCrystal is an awesome, she keep me posted with Sochi, she loves caring for Sochi Thanks you so much! We definitely see you again”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

“Lyra and Scott and their family totally loved on our little Sassafras. We are so appreciative of their care and all the pictures and updates. I would recommend them to anyone looking for care for their fur babies. Will use them again! ?”

“Vania is an EXCELLENT dog sitter. She kept my 10 week old Benji (He's a Cavapoochon) overnight when I had to make a trip to North Carolina. She frequently updated me on how he was doing with texts and pictures. This was Benji's 1st stay away from home and I was never worried that he wasn't being taken care of. I highly recommend Vania for dog sitting and boarding. I will definitely use her services again! ?”

“Teona and Louelyn were fantastic with my Boston Terriers, Logan and Rocket. They provided regular updates and photos, and made sure the dogs had playtime in their fenced yard three times a day. Their genuine love for animals and top-notch service made me feel confident and at ease. Highly recommend!”
“Beyond blessed to have found Lisa and babysit our baby’s! She and her family showered our baby’s with love and affection. We appreciated the photo and updates on how the babes were doing. Huge piece of mind having someone who will treat your baby’s as you! Thank you! See you next time ?”

“This was the longest I have ever been away from Simba (8 days)…he started off slow but Priscilla took care of him as if he was her own. She didn’t hide the fact that he was sad the 1st night…many sitters would have just said he is doing great. She made him feel at home and loved on him like I would. I appreciate Priscilla’s commitment and would highly recommend her for your pet.”

“I'm delighted to share a glowing 5-star review for Ms. Cheyenne, our dog host family! From the moment we entrusted our Golden Retreiver to her care, it was evident that she went above and beyond. The love, attention, and playtime provided made our dog feel right at home. Ms. Cheyenne's dedication to ensuring our pet's comfort and happiness truly sets her apart. We're grateful for her exceptional service and would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a warm and loving environment for their beloved pets.”

About: What sets me apart is that I truly understand cats and respect their individual personalities. I don’t force interaction—whether your cat is playful, shy, or independent, I meet them where they are and earn their trust at their pace.

About: Cat sitting is a calm and rewarding experience. When I arrive, I make sure the cat has fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. At first, some cats may be shy and keep their distance, so I give them space and move gently around them. Over time, the cats become more comfortable. Some will come up for attention, while others prefer to relax nearby. I follow their routine and pay attention to their behavior to make sure they are happy and healthy. Cat sitting is about being patient, respectful, and making sure the cat feels safe and cared for while their owner is away.
About: Animals have always been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always dogs and cats around, caring for them wasn’t just a responsibility, it was part of daily life. Over the years, I have personally raised and cared for three dogs of my own, each with different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, structure, and how to connect with animals on an individual level. Most recently, I adopted another dog into the family, adding even more joy and playful to the house. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have experienced it all training, playtime, feeding routines, crate care, walks, and of course, lots of cuddles. Whether your pet is shy or social, active or relaxed, we understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have a partner who has been pet sitting for her friends and co-workers last 4 years. I work at shipyard, but my work is pretty flexible that I can check out our dogs or any other pet frequently to make sure they receive enough attention love and most importantly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where dogs can relax and be themselves. I have a fully fenced big yard for safe outdoor play, and I supervise all interactions to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to crate preferences and bedtime habits — so they feel right at home. I never use harsh corrections; instead, I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance. I also keep my home clean, pet-proofed, and free of anything unsafe. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we make sure they always feel safe, respect. I will keep sending regular updates and pictures or videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands

“Trinity is awesome. She took care of my babies while I was on vacation for a week. She was on time and made sure they were well taken care of. Duke and Mustard love her. We had a tragedy while I was gone and she stepped in without hesitation and helped out with my Duke. I was so thankful and grateful that I was able to find her on the River app. I will definitely book her through Rover from now on.”

“I could rave about how absolutely amazing Samantha was with my Khaleesi for hours, but I’ll keep it short for reading purposes. My dog Khaleesi is a high anxiety dog and does not do well with strangers and typically hides from them. Samantha had her during the day for 3 days, and from day 1 Khaleesi took right to her. It did take some warming up time, but Samantha kept me very updated and sent pictures throughout the day. By the end of the 3 days, Khaleesi was walking into Samantha’s house without hesitation and didn’t even turn around to look at me. Samantha is incredible and I highly recommend her!!!!”

“Lisa was exactly what we were looking for! She gave our boy Nash all of the love and attention that he needed and then some. Nash really enjoyed playing with her two dogs and I know he's looking for his next stay with her.”

Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.
About: I have been taking car of all kinds of dogs for years. I've watched dogs from Labrador puppies to senior German Shepards. I've owned dogs my whole life and I've always had a special bond with them. Dogs usually gravitate towards me because I am a very fun and light hearted person. My friends often refer to me as a Disney princess because of how I am with animals. I belive all animals need love and respect and I always do my best to make them feel safe and loved. I am a nanny for a mother of three during the day but I am usually only needed two or three days a week so my weekends are completely free. Even days when I watch my kids I am off by 3pm and can spend evenings with the pets. I have several dogs of my own so my house is fully equipped with w fenced in yard and my house is pet safe. In regards to a clients home I would of course check what the client has in place but as a pet owner I am also aware pets can be sneaky and love to get into mischief. I am always checking on clients pets making sure they are safe and not getting into things they shouldn't. I am also certified in pet cpr and massage therapy incase a pet does get into distress or if they need some other help with pain. Over all my priority is always the health and safety of my client beloved pets.

“Alyssa was flexible with our crazy Navy scheduling and constantly sent funny/cute pictures of our pup while she let him out around lunch. Would highly recommend!! She will love your pup as much as you do!!”

“Our Dixie had a wonderful stay with Shania and her family. We were sent pictures and updates during Dixie’s stay. She was well taken care of and we will definitely be planning another stay with Shania.”

“Jared took such great care of my little fur baby. I’ve also hosted on Rover, but this was my first time needing someone to watch my little gal and I was nervous to find just the right fit, but he was a perfect match! He took her for runs and provided her with lots of treats and snuggles in my absence. He even taught her some new tricks! I feel so fortunate to have found someone that adores my four legged bestie and cared for her so very well. Thank you, Jared!”

“Rachel took care of 9mo old pup for five days while I was out of town. He was happy and well cared for although he had a bit of a hard time the last couple days. And gave Ms. Rachel some extra work. I was kept well informed which helped me trust that he was loved while I was away. I am so grateful to have found Ms. Rachel!”

“Mary is AMAZING! Very welcoming and I even got a couple pictures of my fur-baby having the time of her life while hanging out w/Mary, Socks, and another puppers she was sitting. We did a meet-and-greet before officially confirming the booking which solidified my comfort that Koda would be in good care. Mary has a large fenced in yard on a larger plot of land. Her prices are MORE than fair, so I was sure to give her a lil something extra when picking up my girl. THANK YOU MARY!! I know Koda will be happy to see you and Socks again on my next trip. <3”

“Armonee communicated regularly and accommodated our many many many requests. I feared I was asking too much in a lot of ways but she really put my mind at ease. I can tell my old puppy loved spending time with her and her family and was well loved! Thank you for your care with my fur baby!”

“What an amazing experience. This is the first time my boys have ever been boarded and they were treated like they were her own. They played with other dogs, got socialized by an expert. I am not sure they wanted to come home. This is the only person they will board with again.”

“Once again our girls had the best time with Kamie & Patrick. The photos and the videos they provide us with show they have a home away from home. I'm sure the girls don't want to come home. We are very comfortable giving Kamie & Pat the responsibility of caring for our girls when we are away. They adapt their routine to fit our girls and we couldn't be happier with their service.”
