About: As a former Air Force Medical Technician I have medical experience with humans, for the past nine years I have cared for many pets with medications. If your baby needs daily medication (eye drops, ear drops, pills or injections) I can easily accomplish on schedule. Our Bernedoodle, Claira, loves other dogs and cats! Daily walks are part of our routine and I would love to include your fur baby too! My three human children love having guest dogs and enjoy snuggling with them on the couch or in bed! About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of 2025 :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Thursday thru Saturday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. “Teona and Louelyn were great with my dog. He is stubborn about taking his medication. They worked with him several different ways to get him to take it because my dog wouldn't follow the way he does for me at home. I apprecaited their patience and care. I received updates very quickly on the first day. After that, the updates were less frequent, but when I reached out to ask, they were quick to respond. My dog went with them happily which set my heart at ease. This was the first time I had left him with someone other than family. When I picked him up, he was glad to see me, but didn't appear to be anxious or traumatized in any way. When we visit Williamsburg again, I will definitely check with them to keep my dog again.”
“Cristen and family were amazing! Wish we had found them before. They took very good care of Asher while we were at our daughter’s graduation. We didn’t have to worry about Asher at all. Wonderful family!”
“Our dogs are also so excited and happy when we leave them. They have playmates and a large yard to run around in. The pictures are great to see how our dogs are doing and let us know they are being cared for and having fun. Stephanie is always very quick to respond to any message.”

“Rodney took such great care of our Grady while we were away for a week! Grady is a Velcro-type dog, always wanting to be near his humans & experiences separation anxiety. Rodney sent us pics & reports once to twice a day to assure us Grady was doing well. Took him for lots of walks and gave him lots of attention. So grateful to Rodney for caring for our silly boy and putting our minds at ease so we could fully enjoy our trip!”

“Amy was amazing! We were a little nervous about leaving our dog with someone we didn't know. Amy immediately put us at ease and made us feel like our pup was the most important dog on the planet. She is extremely professional and answered all my texts quickly. She provided photos and updated us with how things were going daily. After meeting her we knew she would care for our dog like she was one of her own. She was extremely flexible at changing the dates of stay when I'd accidentally clicked the wrong days. Even though they were very last minute. Her compassion for animals is truly genuine as evidenced by the model she's set for her children. They, too, took to our dog and treated her like a real princess. We couldn't have asked for a better sitter for our pupper.”
