My dog had a skin tag that burst on our way there, which had never happened right before dropping him off at a sitter. I tried my best to stop the bleeding, but I eventually had to drop him off with them. I was very worried that he'd be a burden or get their home dirty but they were very understanding. They reassured me that they could handle it and their updates definitely eased my anxiety! Also, what was sweet to know about his stay is that their young son loved my dog and they slept together for the night. My pup adores cuddles so I just know he got all the attention he needed! “I can’t say enough good things about how well Maya was cared for. The night before I dropped her off, I had taken Maya on a hike, and in hindsight, not checking her thoroughly for ticks afterward wasn’t the smartest decision on my part. The morning after her first night with Whitney, she discovered that Maya had a significant number of ticks on her. She immediately texted me to let me know what was going on, especially since she had a two-year-old and other dogs in the house and understandably needed to be careful. I was traveling and tried to arrange for friends to pick Maya up, but unfortunately, I couldn’t make that happen. She could easily have told me I needed to find another solution, but instead, she went completely above and beyond. She went out, got tick shampoo and treatment, gave Maya a thorough bath, dealt with the ticks, and made sure she was comfortable and well cared for. It was a stressful situation that she didn’t create, but she handled it with so much patience, responsibility, and genuine care for Maya. Being away, it meant a lot knowing that someone was willing to step up and take care of her when I couldn’t be there. I’m incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust her with Maya again. They showed us the area where Parsley would be staying, safe and clean with little white boards for each doggy detailing their needs (they had only one other canine customer at the time that Parsley was there). Their land is beautiful and they sent us pictures of Parsley while she was enjoying her time with them. About: Animals definitely perceive my positive attitude, and people do too. I genuinely love making cats and dogs happy. I often talk to any animal quite a bit because I believe a calm tone of voice is good for them psychologically. Additionally, I have taken care of multiple dogs and cats throughout the years, working in kennel facilities and through ownership, and I understand what is required to keep them happy and healthy. I have a flexible schedule, with much time to ensure your pets get the exercise he or she needs, and the attention they deserve. They won't be lonely while you're away! Additionally, I can administer any medications necessary and follow any special dietary restrictions. Your cats and dogs are in good hands with me! I center taking care of my own animals around my daily schedule. I do my best to keep their regular feeding times ,and for my dogs walking times at expected hours. It can be difficult, but it wouldn't be fair for them to not know what to expect. So ultimately, I adjust my required needs around their schedule in terms of errands, and etcetera. I care for pets in a way they are accustomed to; meaning regular schedules for feeding, walks and/or medication. If they are staying in my home, I would try to provide the most comfortable accommodations as possible while awaiting their people. But in a client's home, I would just coddle the pet, give them comfort, and again - keep them on the schedule they are accustomed to.

About: Hello! I am 23 years old and when I was 15-17 I helped train dogs including a service dog. I love all dogs and will always love your dog as well! I am looking for any opportunities that involve dog walking or dog sitting! I do not have my own dog but would love to have a golden retriever later in life! I maintain feeding schedules, potty breaks, and playtime, adapting to any special needs, mobility issues, or anxieties. Safety, consistency, and love are my priorities, so your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away. In my home, I introduce pets safely, separating them from my own during initial meetings. I provide a secure space for each pet and use mini fencing to ensure safety, even though my property is not fully fenced. I follow the same level of care and safety as I would in your home.
