You can enjoy worry-free care knowing your furry friend is in caring and attentive hands. I’ve owned pets my whole life and I’ve fostered dogs for the past 3 years. I work but I get up early enough to have ample time for morning routine of potty, feeding and playtime or walk. After work, it’s potty, feeding and playtime again with a walk. Your pet will have the freedom of the main floor until they have settled in. I have gates, play fences and crates if they are needed. Once comfortable, they are allowed upstairs (I had a few fosters that loved to hang out on my bed). I have a fenced yard for play and bathroom. I have multiple dog beds and lots of toys. I have my own small dog, who has never met a dog he didn’t like, and three cats.

About: Dogs and cats are my babies. There is nothing I love more than to have them follow me around the house. I am willing to work with small and medium dogs (up to 30 lbs). When you leave your dog with me, you can expect a laid back day with frequent leash walks and lots of cuddling on the couch. I have experience pet sitting for family members, and it is one of my favorite things to do. I am at home full time, so I am able to give care and attention to your pets throughout the day and overnight if needed. My yard does not have a fence, so the dogs can only go out for leash walks. Please let me know whether your pet gets along with other dogs and cats. I will keep you informed about any other animals that will be in my home to make sure your pet is in a safe environment.

About: I was a kennel assistant at a German Shepard facility for a year, my duties included grooming, playing with, exercising, giving shots and feeding the dogs. for the past five years I have dog sat/walked for neighbors, friends and families with dogs of all breeds/sizes/temperaments. I also have experience with all different ages of dogs from puppies to senior. I also worked at a vet hospital for a little over a year before I had to move back to Fairfax. I am currently working part time so I have a ton of free time to take care of any of your pet needs! I am free on weekends and during the week for repeated check ins or one time visits. Holidays are also no problem either! I have a warm welcoming environment with comfortable blankets and pillow and dog toys for your pet. At a clients home I will use whatever the pet has in the home like toys and blankets to make them feel comfortable and happy.

About: I have always had a dog for as long as I can remember. I grew up with dogs and I love them. We currently have two dogs. I have a male Golden doodle named Bo and a female Teddy Bear named Annie. I like to walk the dogs for two 30 minute walks a day. I’m a stay at home, homeschooling mom. I have a 7 year old, 10 year old, 13 year old and 16 year old at home. Everyone loves dogs. We have a routine with the dogs and they are part of the family. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I am a firm believer that dogs need to be walked. I walk my dogs for 30 minutes in the morning and 30 minutes in the afternoon on a walking path behind my house. I keep jingle bells on my door and my dogs ring them to go outside to potty. I have options to separate dogs if necessary. Dogs are separated at feeding time.

About: I absolutely adore animals. I have four children who are also huge animal lovers so if you board with us in home your pet will be absolutely doted on. Pet parents will be hard pressed to find a family that will take better care of your pet or give them as much love and attention. I love being outside and going on long walks and would love to accompany your dog on their daily walk. We have a tremendous amount of time to play with your pet, take them on walks, and give them the attention they not only require but also deserve. We have a decent sized fenced in yard which is perfect for lots of play time! We are very attentive to animals and have experience giving medication including shots.

About: I’ve taken care of two dogs for ten+ years! I’ve grown up around dogs and cats my whole life, especially senior dogs. I’m good at walking and caring for animals in their homes. I work as a substitute teacher and can make my own schedule, so I will have plenty of time to hang with your animals! I am flexible with my schedule and can make last minute drop-ins if needed. I have a home with a fenced in porch, plenty of room for your pup to have some outside time. I can also crate them if needed. I’m flexible on whatever your needs should be!
About: I have house/dog sat for 7+ years now around my old neighborhood. I have cared for pets (cats and dogs) of many ages and breeds. I am experienced with giving your fur babies the medications that they may need and the amount of exercise they require. I am experienced with caring for young and old dogs and will personalize care however you prefer. My pup requires a long walk every day so I am used to walking long distances if needed; it is completely up to you to decide! I have a SUPER friendly boxer. He plays very well with other dogs, big and small. He loves all dogs, humans, cats, you name it. I also currently foster for a Belgian Malinois rescue and have a ~2yo mal foster. She is also friendly and does well with dogs but prefers neutrality. If your dog isn’t friendly or prefers alone time, that is also fine! I am easily able to separate dogs so that they can have a neutral environment. I work from home currently, so I am available to take the pups out whenever they need. My dogs usually get a long walk (1-4 miles) and any dogs I watch are welcome to join! If they cannot handle a longer walk they can get a shorter walk before or after my dog’s walk. I leave for about an hour a day to work out or run errands. At most I’m gone 2 hours from my house. I live in a neighborhood and have a semi large yard. My yard is not fenced but I have long lines (leashes) that I will take your dog out on to run and get exercise if they do not prefer walks. They will always be supervised and on-leash outside to prevent any accidents!

About: I’ve taken care of pets for as long as I can remember. I work full time at a grooming salon as a pet bather. And I have experience working at an animal hospital and a pet sitting company. I’m able to watch any sized dog and any age from puppies to seniors. I also offer simple grooming services! I regularly take multiple dogs on hikes for at least 1 hour and am used to watching large groups of dogs at a time I’m currently working full time, 5 days a week. I am free all day Tuesday, and Sunday. But I’m also free after 4pm any other day . I can pet sit overnight any day and do drop in visits in the morning, evening, and at night. I am unable to board dogs at my own home but at a clients home I can take your dogs for both short and long walks. I can even take them to a park for a nature hike. I will feed them at their scheduled times and if wanted by owners I can crate them. If medication is needed I am comfortable with giving it to them. I will give them plenty of love and lots of playtime. If wanted I can also give nail trims, brushing, ear cleaning and baths as I work full time as a pet bather.

She offered a meet and greet beforehand to see how my dog, Buddha, would adjust—and it went great! Larissa was warm, professional, and clearly loves animals. Buddha had a fantastic time and came home happy and relaxed. I’m so glad we found her—we’ll definitely be coming back from now on!”

“Phillip was an excellent host for my dogs. After previous arrangements fell through at the last minute, Phillip was happy to step up and board them. He stayed in communication with me and sent multiple pics and videos of my furry kids having fun. They looked like they were having so much fun, I wasn’t sure they would want to leave! “Omg! Hannah is the sweetest! This is the first time my family has used ROVER and we were blessed to find Hannah! We didnt just choose Hannah.. she in return chose us! She loved and cared for our fur children as if they were her own! She was so considerate for our wants and needs for our furbabies and in the end I just wanted for both her and our furbabies to just enjoy each other's company during their stay with her. We honestly could have not been any more lucky to have found Hannah.. as a person she is just a sweetheart. “Crystal is amazing sitter! Our pup loved staying with her for 2 weeks. We were getting daily updates on our dog with pictures and videos, Crystal is always responsive, willing to give any information asked, very nice and friendly person! Sparkle got along with her immediately at meet and greet, and had a good time whole boarding time. Definitely will book with Crystal again in the future!”

With less than a week Charlotte was able to schedule an and meet and greet and add get us on her schedule. We were really in a jam and appreciate her so much. Charlotte has a lot of experience and with her background I felt very comfortable leaving our little ones in her care. Charlotte provided multiple daily updates and photos.
