While in college, I worked at a veterinarian's office just to be around pets, and it was the most rewarding and fun job I ever had! I lost my beloved Cavalier two years ago and miss him dearly, but I'm not ready to own again. I really miss having a pet companion and have lots of love to share with your pets. As a nursing student, I spend a lot of time studying, so having a pet actually helps me stay balanced. I like to use walks as study breaks because they give me a chance to clear my head and reset, especially when coursework gets intense. Morning walks are my favorite—they help me start the day feeling calm, focused, and energized. Caring for a pet fits well with my schedule because I’m already used to planning my time carefully, and it’s something I genuinely enjoy rather than see as a chore. About: Hi there! I provide excellent pet care service in VA Beach area. I am also willing to travel to cities within a 30 mile radius. A little about myself: I am a 2x alumni from East Carolina University. I received my Masters in Communication in 2017 and am currently working as a Producer. I absolutely love animals. I currently do not have fur babies of my own at this time because I do travel for my job. I am willing to walk animals on a daily basis. I am also willing to board pets in my home. I absolutely love animals, especially dogs. My older sister is a veterinarian and used to groom dogs and she used to let me help her out and play with the dogs to calm them down. I was also able to walk them when needed as well. As pet sitting is my full time job, I also work part time at the Zoo! However the pets always come first and foremost! I've always loved dogs and cats and I will treat yours as if it was my own. If your pet has any special requirements or needs please let me know in advance. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.
About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5 years old. I would go walk dogs with my grandpa and he would let me walk them. I am currently not working. I have plenty of time to spend with your cute pets. Those little fur babies will fit right on in with my day. If you need your little fur baby to be in a crate before I leave I am able to get them in nice and calm.
