About: I’ve never had a cat until I was grown, my mom and grandma have always been scared of them and more of dog people. I went to the shelter and was determined to get over my generational fear of cats. Learning to care for a cat while being timid made me also learn how specific cats are some like to be brushed and some you can’t even look at the wrong way. Any cat I meet I always try to feel them out and see what they enjoy most !

About: I grew up taking care of my family dog and cats, and have cared for my own dogs and cats for the past 7 years. I have owned chickens since the beginning of 2022. Pets are part of the family, and if they stay with me, they will be treated as such! I’m currently working from home with a flexible schedule that allows me to take breaks throughout the day, which I use to take my dogs outside. I am also able to spend all day with my animals and any animals I would board. After getting off work, I love taking walks outside with my dogs. I have a fenced in park 2 minutes down the road from my house where I take my dogs to run unleashed. I have a upstairs and a downstairs that would allow for me to spend one-on-one time with a boarded pet and keep them separated from my own animals.

About: I have had cats dogs and livestock my whole life . I am now retired with 1 covid foster fail named Luna. We started fostering after all our animals passed of old age and long story short adopted her. Best dog EVER! We love to spoil dogs with lots of play, walks on the Riverwalk and always try to pick pet friendly places to visit including restaurants. We also have a pool if yours like water! “Penny and Evan were great with our little “high anxiety” fur baby. During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable.
