“Omaira and Isaac were absolutely wonderful with our dogs! They took such great care of our six-year-old Frenchie and our seven-month-old Doberman for five days, and we couldn’t have asked for better sitters. They were patient, attentive, and clearly very comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and needs. We received great updates and felt completely at ease knowing our pups were in loving, capable hands. Both dogs came home happy, well cared for, and clearly loved during their stay. We are so grateful for the care they provided and would highly recommend Omaira and Isaac to anyone looking for reliable, kind, and trustworthy sitters. We would absolutely book with them again!”

“Our Dixie had a wonderful stay with Shania and her family. We were sent pictures and updates during Dixie’s stay. She was well taken care of and we will definitely be planning another stay with Shania.”

“Our dog chief was in the best of hands with Scott and Lyra! They loved on him like he was their own and we had so much peace of mind with him at their home. She made sure they were not only fed and safe, but also happy and getting attention while I was gone. It meant a lot to come back knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend Cheyanne to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

I’ve also hosted on Rover, but this was my first time needing someone to watch my little gal and I was nervous to find just the right fit, but he was a perfect match! I feel so fortunate to have found someone that adores my four legged bestie and cared for her so very well. Thank you, Jared!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and caring for them is something I genuinely love. I have spent the last 3 years volunteering with Hope for Life Rescue and Penninsula Regional Animal Shelter, working hands on with pets of all ages, breeds, and temperaments, from bottle feeding kittens and puppies to caring for senior dogs who need extra patience and attention. I’m the go-to person for family and friends whenever they need someone reliable and loving to care for their pets, whether it’s daily walks, drop-in visits, daycare, or overnight boarding. I have experience administering medications, handling nervous or shy animals, and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big deal, and I treat every animal as if they were my own, with patience, compassion, and plenty of love. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because animals are already a big part of my life. I volunteer regularly with a local rescue and animal shelter, foster when needed, and I also run my own business from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of availability for walks, drop-ins, daycare, and boarding. I provide a safe, loving, and structured environment whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home. I have a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor time and exercise, and my own pets (two cats and one dog) are all friendly, well socialized, and up to date on their vaccines. My dog, Mercury, just turned two and is full of energy. She loves meeting other dogs and enjoys playdates, which makes her a great companion for social pups who enjoy interaction and play. My goal is always to create a calm, trustworthy environment where both pets and pet parents feel comfortable and confident.

About: Animals have always been a constant part of my life. I grew up in a home where there were always dogs and cats around, caring for them wasn’t just a responsibility, it was part of daily life. Over the years, I have personally raised and cared for three dogs of my own, each with different personalities and needs, which taught me patience, structure, and how to connect with animals on an individual level. Most recently, I adopted another dog into the family, adding even more joy and playful to the house. From energetic puppies to gentle seniors, I have experienced it all training, playtime, feeding routines, crate care, walks, and of course, lots of cuddles. Whether your pet is shy or social, active or relaxed, we understand how to make them feel safe, loved, and at home. I have a partner who has been pet sitting for her friends and co-workers last 4 years. I work at shipyard, but my work is pretty flexible that I can check out our dogs or any other pet frequently to make sure they receive enough attention love and most importantly care. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a calm and secure environment where dogs can relax and be themselves. I have a fully fenced big yard for safe outdoor play, and I supervise all interactions to make sure everyone is happy and comfortable. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible — from feeding schedules to crate preferences and bedtime habits — so they feel right at home. I never use harsh corrections; instead, I rely on positive reinforcement, patience, and gentle guidance. I also keep my home clean, pet-proofed, and free of anything unsafe. Whether your dog is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, we make sure they always feel safe, respect. I will keep sending regular updates and pictures or videos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands

About: Most of my experience was mostly personal with the numerous animals I had when I was growing up. But I also have experience with other friends or families' animals. During that, I have taken care of the dietary needs of pit bulls to Dachsund. I am currently a student meaning I can have more time taking care of your animals as I only will have homework and no job I have gates all around my house to avoid certain rooms to ensure no animals gets in anything. I will also ensure safety on walks

About: Cat sitting is a calm and rewarding experience. When I arrive, I make sure the cat has fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. At first, some cats may be shy and keep their distance, so I give them space and move gently around them. Over time, the cats become more comfortable. Some will come up for attention, while others prefer to relax nearby. I follow their routine and pay attention to their behavior to make sure they are happy and healthy. Cat sitting is about being patient, respectful, and making sure the cat feels safe and cared for while their owner is away.
About: I’ve got years of experience caring for dogs and cats. My favorite thing to do is take dogs (especially my own) out for adventures by taking advantage of this beautiful state we get to call home. I love to give dogs the best time when they’re with me whether that’s going out or staying in and their safety and comfortability is my top priority. I work part time on Thursday and Friday nights until the end of December. I have a very open schedule until the end of April. I do have a dog and two cats, so it would be best to board at the owners home vs my own, but I am ok with either. I am avid about getting quality outdoor time that goes beyond potty breaks. Clear instructions of your pets exact care requirements/expectations are important to me so that I can make sure your pet is getting their needs met.

“⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 Highly recommended! Christene is absolutely wonderful! From the moment I met her, it was clear she’s professional, cordial, caring, and truly loves animals. Her experience really shows, and we could tell she treated our pets as if they were her own. We came to Williamsburg for a long weekend, and Christene gave us total peace of mind while watching our two dogs. She has an ample fenced-in yard our dogs absolutely loved—they ran and played joyfully with her own dog and even met her cat! Many of the videos she sent showed them happily exploring and having the time of their lives. Christene is trustworthy, flexible, and everything you’d want in a sitter. About: I changed the direction my life was going and found the REASON was Animal Care. I began volunteering at 2 local Humane Societies in 2013. Very shortly thereafter became employed at both Societies = working 7 days a week with animals. I adopted my first 2 pets (torti cats named Cali & Ava) in the Fall of 2013. Adopted a 3rd torti cat in the Spring of 2014 (named Hallie B). I adopted a chihuahua in the Fall of 2016 (named Clara my grandmother’s name). With the exception of Hallie B they have all crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The 1st in December 2020 then June 2021 and most recently in May of this year :-( 🐾🐾🐾 They were adopted as Seniors. They were the best. After 4 years of Humane Society work I changed direction again in 2017 to a more professional aspect of Animal Care becoming employed at a Veterinary Hospital as a Kennel Attendant for over 7 years. I have performed a number of cat drop-ins around the Gloucester area for various residents affiliated with the Humane Society. One such assignment lasted for almost two months while the cat’s owners traveled to Florida for the winter. I currently work (outside of Animal Care) OVERNIGHT 40 hours WEDNESDAY thru SATURDAY. Those days I am usually available for Animal Care from 8am to 2pm. Sunday thru Tuesday I am totally available. There is some flexibility with my overnight work and the possibility of a little accommodation for Animal Care. I also have to spare some time for my own cat’s care. Quality. Compassionate. Care. is what I provide pets. I want them to have the creature comforts that make them feel all warm and comfy and content.

About: I am going to treat your dog like my own if not better. I have two dogs Bailey and Princess who were rescue dogs. Bailey was mean and and could not wear a collar. Princess was malnurished and skin issues. Now both dogs are heathly, friendly. It amazes me how much they have grown. They would love guests and enjoy play time. All i ask is that u tell me your babies schedule and likes and dislikes. I have fenced yard where your dogs can run around play freely and I take dogs to parks and trails. Plenty of treats, and playtime, and love. If you like i can come to your home so your fur babies can feel more comfortable. Home away from home is how it should be. I do pet sit/ Rover on a part-time basis that's why my rates are lower than most.

I’m big on communication, so you’ll always know how your fur-babies are doing. With me, it’s not just pet sitting—it’s personalized, loving care that gives you total peace of mind. Let’s make sure your pets have a tail-wagging good time while you’re away! Pet care is a central part of my daily and weekly routine. Each day, I dedicate specific times for walks, feedings, playtime, and any special needs such as administering medications or training sessions. I schedule my work and personal activities around my pet care responsibilities, ensuring that each pet receives consistent and attentive care. My flexible schedule allows me to accommodate various needs, whether it's daily visits, overnight stays, or extended care. This dedication ensures that every pet in my care feels loved, safe, and well-attended to throughout the week. In my home, I create a safe and welcoming environment for pets by providing a designated area with comfortable bedding, toys, and plenty of space to roam. I maintain a consistent routine for feeding, walking, and playtime, ensuring each pet feels at home. I also have a secure backyard for supervised outdoor activities. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain the pet’s usual routine. I ensure their environment is clean, provide fresh food and water, and engage in regular play and exercise. I also send daily updates and photos to keep owners informed about their pet’s well-being. My goal is to provide personalized, attentive care that meets each pet’s specific needs, whether at my home or theirs.
About: I am 27 years old and a recent graduate at Johnson and Wales University. I have been taking care of my dog India for the past 6 years I even trained her on my own. I even took her to college with me for 4 years. I also took care of a Scottish terrier when we had her when I was in high school. I currently help take care of and train my grandparents schnauzers. I have taken my dog on many walks and bath her weekly. I have experience taking care of a cat as well as horses! I am adept at dealing with dogs with separation anxiety, PTSD, and big personalities. I currently work full time and my schedule varies based on the week and holidays. I typically have off Tuesday, Sundays so I will be available all day those days. I am also usually off by 3 at work. I have a fenced in backyard but due to my dog India being so small we typically keep her on a leash when taking her outside. For my 2 lab puppies they just wander the backyard. I do request a meet and greet for most bookings for safety reasons for new clients. At your home I will ensure all instructions are followed based on the needs of your pets!
About: Im currently in vet tech school and I have included photos of the some of the dogs i own, rescued, and babysat over the years. Your babies are in good hands. I’m currently working par-time, because of school and this would help gain more experience with caring for and handling different animals with the field I'm going into. I have a fenced backyard with four other dogs who are friendly and would love to meet other dogs. But i have no problem keeping them separate if that is what you would prefer.

When we picked him up, he was actually sad to leave ! That’s some pretty high praise from a dog right there. Thanks guys - you are the absolute best !”
“Cheyanne took amazing care of my two cats while I was away, and I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. From the start, she was reliable, communicative, and clearly experienced with animals. She sent regular updates, which gave me a lot of peace of mind, and it was obvious my cats were comfortable and well cared for. What really stood out was how patient and attentive she was with them. She made sure they were not only fed and safe, but also happy and getting attention while I was gone. It meant a lot to come back knowing they were in such good hands. I highly recommend Cheyanne to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter!”

“Jared took such great care of my little fur baby. I’ve also hosted on Rover, but this was my first time needing someone to watch my little gal and I was nervous to find just the right fit, but he was a perfect match! He took her for runs and provided her with lots of treats and snuggles in my absence. He even taught her some new tricks! I feel so fortunate to have found someone that adores my four legged bestie and cared for her so very well. Thank you, Jared!”

“Love Ms. Crystal. Elsa did so good for her. Side sent plenty pictures to keep me informed and I couldn’t be more thankful to know my baby was in great hands. Thank you again. Will be using her services again in the future.”
