About: I've loved dogs for the longest time and ever since I've had my own, you quickly realize they are more than a pet, they are family. My dog and I will treat your dog just like family during their visit. I succeeded well in training my dog on my own from house training, to off leash, to playing hide and seek, and I understand the important component of upholding and instilling any of your training while you're not present. As of June 30th, I no longer work remotely, but work very close to home. I still will have plenty of time to give your pup comfort and attention throughout the day. I am available most weekdays and weekends, but may become more limited depending on the season. I have 1 dog, a small Yorkshire Terrier who is known as Mr. President because he loves to greet and befriend each pet or person he sees, no matter the size. He is super friendly and playful and would love to be a great friend and playmate with your pup. I can easily crate your dog if needed with one you provide or with one of my own crates or expandale play pens. My yard is open, but there is plenty of space for fun. I enjoy long walks, so if your pup needs to get in multiple miles, I can make that happen. I have a multi level townhome. Dogs are allowed anywhere in the home except for the kitchen. If your dog loves the outdoors, i have a small deck and a small enclosed front balcony they can hang on. There are plenty of toys and puzzles, but you are of course welcome to provide their favorite toy.

During my work breaks, I come home to hang out with the pups and give them plenty of time to get fresh air and smells outside. When given instructions by an owner, I am very thorough in how I follow them. If there are specific feeding instructions, I do not defer from the needs of the dog. About: I am a former Animal Control Officer. I have 5+ years in the veterinary field and another 10+ years of experience in general animal welfare. I am comfortable with animal handling and giving medications. I have experience with many different breeds and ages, no fur friend too small or too tall! I am comfortable with rescue fur friends with special needs. Pet care is not only part of my daily routine at home with my own animals but my goal is to make pet care my full time job for others animals as well! I currently am working part time which gives me time to make sure your animals are well cared for and get plenty of attention throughout our time together! I am comfortable caring for your fur babies in whatever ways they are normally cared for. I appreciate and respect that everyone’s households run a little differently and I will do my best to make sure your pet doesn’t even notice that you’re away!

You can rely on me to give medicine and provide typical daily care such as ear cleaning and nail trimming if desired. In addition, we will walk your pet as needed and provide socialization and enrichment. I am a mom of 2 dogs and 4 cats in addition to my own children.
