I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, receive any approved medications, get appropriate exercise and potty breaks, and have plenty of attention and companionship. I also keep their environment clean by tidying food areas, cleaning up accidents, and maintaining litter boxes or other pet spaces as needed.
About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. About: Owned a dog since forever. Currently have 2 shelties-3yrs and 1yrs old. But have taken care of dogs all breeds, sizes, ages, and stages of life. About: I grew up dog-sitting for friends and family in addition to caring for my family dog, Abby. I have experience raising and training two puppies, and I worked at a dog boarding facility in Colorado for several months. I moved to Roanoke in mid-September and am currently dog sitting full-time until I secure a full-time job. Until then, I'm essentially available 24/7 for sitting, walks, or drop-in visits!
