She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

“My dog Jimmy has been going for a week now (4 days so far) and can not imagine taking him to anyone else. The setting is better than his last daycare which was too big and he was getting overly anxious. Karlie cares for another dog and has two of her own plus a cat so the place is calmer than the last one. Karlie and her family are all very nice and seem to like having Jimmy there. I will take him back whenever I require daycare for him. I just wish I was not moving out of the area soon and will no longer be able to take him there. At least we found Karlie at the end of our time in Vinton.”

During the “meet and greet” Penny had us come in and take him straight to the fenced back yard where he could sniff around and go to the bathroom. Knowing about his anxiety, once we went back inside, Penny never tried to pet him, she just allowed him to get used to her being in the room. She was a very calming presence for him. Evan likewise was patient with him and allowed him the time it took to settle and get comfortable. I’m patient with dogs of all sizes and personalities and always follow feeding schedules, provide regular potty breaks, playtime, and plenty of attention so every dog feels at home. I currently have a very flexible schedule and am available most days of the week, including weekends. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, walks, and playtime throughout the day. I’m happy to work with different schedules and last-minute bookings whenever possible I make sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for. Since I don’t have a fenced yard, I take dogs on regular walks for exercise, potty breaks, and fresh air. I also provide plenty of attention, playtime, and follow the pet’s normal feeding schedule and routines. My goal is to make pets feel relaxed and at home while their owners are away.
About: I love all animals! I have been pet-sitting since I was in elementary school. I currently have two tuxedo cats, one of which has to be given medicine twice a day, so I am comfortable with medication administration. I recently graduated from Physician Associate School and I am waiting for the credentialing process to be completed before starting my job! So i have plenty of time to take care of your animals! About: I’ve had family dogs since I was 9 and have been taking care of them since then. They are small dogs so I have more experience with that, but have helped out with friends’ pets of all sizes. About: I have previously volunteered at a rescue for 10 years. I have fostered many animals for the rescue and kept some of those as well. I can handle almost anything. I've also had my fair share of special needs animals, so I'm comfortable handling pets whose needs are out of the ordinary. I've also worked with and owned most types of animals ranging from a few weeks old to 20+ years, so I can provide care to very young or very old animals. About: I have had the pleasure to take care of animals my whole life. After going to boot camp I realized how much animals actually give you peace of mind on a daily basis and I have taken care of neighbors animals and family ever since. I have plenty of space for animals of all sizes and a fenced in yard for dogs who need to run. I love to go on walks as I am very active and have to keep my 2 mile up always. I am also very patient for kitties who just want to lay around and sleep. If given the opportunity I would love to spend my time with the animals you love. I am in the national guard so I work 1 weekend a month and the rest is free! I am currently trying to make animal sitting an everyday thing so I can work out any times needed. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space inside as well. I have a doggy door for smaller dogs but I can let the bigger ones out just as easily. I do have a cat that is very friendly but she can go in my room if needed. There is room in my house to play and room for an animal to be alone if they wanted or needed

Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal.
