With dogs I found better ways to behave them when they were with me, and considering I would take care of them a lot I managed to teach them tricks. I love spending time with animals of any kind. I had a cat when I was 13 and it was tricky because I got Lenny as an adult I would say. I learned how to manage litter boxes and the right food for both cat and dog. I do a lot of research when it comes to food so I know they have the right nutritions and I’m also skeptical when if comes or bagged food, so I do make my Own at times. I own 2 dogs now, one is a puppy and the other about a year and a half old. I’m also trying to save to go into MTC to study as a veterinarian to spend more time with animals. Taking care of pets fits in just perfectly. I currently have a part time job, but doing pet care on the side definitely helps balance my routine out and get some fresh air from working. In both client/my home, since I’m an early bird, I take them on walks to get them moving and give them time to potty, as I do with my dogs as well. I give them water and food, of course this varies on any directions given by the owner. They do get a lot of playtime and treats for good behavior. I make sure to let them potty at least every 2-3 hours out of habit from my pets.

About: I have a dog and 6 cats of my own that I have rescued from the RHSPCA. I also have volunteered at our local SPCA, cleaning, and fostering pets for years. I have pet sit many times for friends and family and really enjoy it! I am currently home from college for the summer and my schedule is open anytime during the week. I am flexible and available to work with clients schedules. I know pets are happiest in their own home, so I’ll do my best to keep their routine as normal as possible. I’ll follow all of your care instructions, make sure they have plenty of love, attention, exercise, and fresh water, and keep your home clean and secure while you’re away. My goal is to make both you and your pet feel comfortable and stress-free.
