“Oh my word. Rebekah was a life-saver. We had a last-minute booking, and at the Meet & Greet, any fears I had were out the window. She is so friendly and welcoming that my pup ran right to her! She has a spacious yard, a spacious dedicated area for several pups to sleep and stretch and nap (complete with cozy chair), and her joy is incredible! You can tell she really loves her job and does so much to care for the pets she watches. Rebekah was so great with sending updates and pictures - we never worried about our pup at all! It was clear she was in exceptionally good hands with Rebekah! We picked up our puppy, and while she was so excited to see us, she still running up to Rebekah like she was already part of the family! Rebekah gave us a full rundown of the stay, and how much fun our pup had with her and when we got home, our puppy passed OUT from all the excitement, fun, and exercise she was able to have with Rebekah. That made our hearts so happy to know that our pup had so much fun while we were gone! We don't leave her too often because of some of her past experiences with her previous owner. She also watered our plants and brought in mail while we were gone. She seems to know a lot about dogs and is a wealth of info on chickens, as well. Also don’t mind light clean up if they make a mess while you are gone. My dogs are kind of crazy so I understand messes happen! My dogs have an open back yard but if your dog is trained to walk I will be happy to take them out that way. My dogs get plenty of play time mainly with each other but i’ve done plenty of play time with them myself and can incorporate that with you dogs if they require play time! I also have dealt with older and sick dogs so I know how to be gentle and handle that. I have also had my own cat and watched others, I adore cats. Mine was sick for a while so i’m familiar with oral medication for cats and soothing cats’ anxieties as mine suffered heavily from unknown anxiety.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life—seriously, rabbits to goats, and everything in between. Right now I care for dogs, chickens, rabbits, and a cat, and I also have experience pet sitting for families from when I was in high school. My love for animals really shows, and I’m totally comfortable with both big dogs and smaller ones—I’m happy to care for every breed. I work from home, so I’m available as often as you need me, and if you need me to stay overnight to watch your furry friend, I can definitely arrange that. I take my pups out every 2 hours for potty breaks and to throw the ball for my very active GSD dog. I get off around 5:30PM M-F. So if you need me to stay at your home to watch your pets while I work throughout the day- that’s no problem! Or I can most definitely take breaks throughout the day to come take your animal out and/or just give some snuggles! I am free on the weekends and can make really anything work. Just give me a time and place and I’ll be there! I have a huge back yard and plenty of space for your dog to run around! It is not fenced, so must have good recall or I can just walk them on a leash. If your dog is coming over to my house they must be good with other animals. I have a male Belgian tervuren (fixed) who’s pretty shy at first, but warms up quickly and would love a play buddy! And then I have a male Dachshund (fixed) who sleeps all day. I do crate my dogs while I’m away, and they can be crated just to give your pet some space to decompress. My cat is in a separate room so she will be away as well.
About: I’m a healthcare worker who loves pets! We had 2 Shetland sheepdogs growing up. I have raised 2 chihuahua puppies, and one needed multiple eye surgeries and follow up care. I have consistently sat for and walked friends dogs (multiple at a time). I have taken in a neighbors cats for months after an emergent situation, and my family members have cats a well.
