“Stephanie and Max were great! They sent lots of pictures and even took Buddy on a trail walk with all of his new friends. Will be a repeat customer for sure!”

“My wife and I had the birth of our first child scheduled, and last minute we decided to have someone board our smallest dog Icarus. Within 10 minutes of messaging Scott and Amanda they called me and told me to drop my little buddy off. They took such amazing care of him… Everyday they sent me text messages, pictures, videos; they walked Icarus, their kids played with him, their Lab Walter hung out with him. I even dropped Icarus with a bit of a stomach ache and they made sure he didn’t over eat and slowly fed him to make sure he was OK. One the day we were to pickup Icarus my wife and I had to stay at the hospital longer and last minute I asked if they could watch him for 2 more days and they said “no problem at all”. Scott and Amanda are absolutely amazing dog sitters, and they’re even better people.”

“Victor (her husband) is who I met and spoke with the entire time. This was my second time using rover and I’m glad I didn’t give up after having a bad first time experience. I received daily videos and communication. It was comforting knowing my somewhat anxious prone pups were in a safe environment. They were even great with me picking them up 3 hours late due to airport delays. I will definitely recommending and rebooking for future excursions. Thanks again!”

“Lyra and Scott did a great job watching Cookie. He seemed happy and liked interacting with their children and their dog Dobby. I will definitely use them again.”

“Jared was exceptional. He and his daughter took in our two golden retrievers as their own and I think that’s all we can ask for as a pet parent. I would highly recommend anyone staying in the Williamsburg choose Jared as your pet sitter. We will definitely be using him again.”

“This was the first time we have ever used a sitter for Dough. I was hesitant at first but Jay definitely helped cap my insecurities. The communication was top tier! The random pictures eased my mind. When we picked him up he didn't want to leave lol. He tried to go back to the door. Needless to say, we will be back! Thanks so much for hosting Dough! We appreciate you!”

About: I've been around dogs my whole life. I grew up with them, cared for and dog sat for over 15 years while being a nannny. I've had two dogs of my own as well. My family and I have recently lost our beloved pup and are desiring to spend time with yours to get all the dog snuggles and love we can! I am a stay at home mom with 3 kids. We are home daily and most weekends. We love for your sweet pup to hang with us during the day or stay with us during a vacation or long weekend away. We do not have a fenced in yard but have 2 acres of property that we would leash your dog and take for walks around the property. We had a dog in the past that had medication needs and special food needs so I accustomed to caring for dogs with special needs. We are also a couch/furniture friendly family if that is something that is important to you. We do have small children but both are use to dogs and love them! We also do not have a pet of our right currently and so your dog would definitely be the center of our attention.
“I could not be more pleased with our boarding experience with Ryan & Stephanie! Bogey & Moose enjoyed staying in their home and getting lots of love and attention from their family. They sent 'pupdates' and pictures that allowed me to relax and not worry about them while we were away. My boys came home happy and exhausted from all the playtime they had on their large property. Ryan & Stephanie will be our first choice for boarding or daycare in the future!”

“Crystal was so organized and well prepared leading up to our dog’s stay with her. Once there, she was proactive with communication, sent pictures, and helped us feel at ease knowing our dog was well cared for. I would highly recommend Crystal and am so glad that we booked with her!”

“We are overjoyed by our experience with this Rover. It was the first time we had ever left mom’s Chinese Crested with anyone since we brought her home 1-15-21 after mom’s funeral. We have taken her everywhere with us including to Gulf Shores Alabama. We were traveling with a long ferry ride this time and we couldn’t take her. We were updated with text, photos and videos that kept us from worrying about her. She looked very happy and we could concentrate on getting things done and getting back home. When we picked her up we were assured that she always has a safe and familiar place to stay if we needed to bring her back again. We couldn’t be happier with her weekend stay.”

“Jen was great with our super skiddish dog who doesn’t have much experience with other animals or people but Jen ensured she would do great! I got pics everyday and she’s so quick to respond! Definitely rebooking with her in the future!”

“Hands down my sweet old lady pup was spoiled rotten! I had no worries at all and got the sweetest videos and photos while we were out of town. I would 100% want my pup to be cared for by Lauryn and her family. If she is available-book her. Totally worth it!”

“Alyssa did an amazing job taking care of my dog Claire. She would send me update photos throughout my trip to ease my stress about how Claire was coping with us being gone. The difference between how happy Claire was when we returned proved that Alyssa is an incredible sitter and value compared to local kennels in the area.”
“Thank you Paul and Terri! Super sweet family and you made Bailey feel right at home. If I am in the area again I will be sure to contact you again. Thank you 😊”

“Tara and her family were amazing with my dog. As a rescue, my dog is nervous in new situations. I appreciate all the great care that she provided. My dog had a great time and she cared for her with the same level of care that I would.”

“Finally, we know Sushi is in good hands with Victoria when we travel! He falls right on line with the pack. She sends great updates and pictures, is in constant communication with you if necessary, and offers lots of flexibility around drop offs and pick up times. This was Sushi’s second 8+ day stay. There will be more. Top notch!”

“Our dog Lulu had a blast and was well cared for with Ellie! She was very proactive about getting all the details to make sure she was at home, and she had so much fun playing with her dogs! We would recommend her to anyone and ask to board with her again!”

“If I could give Katy 100 stars, I would. She helped us out when our pet sitter bailed out on us at the last minute and I was at the airport just before boarding our flight arranging for a back up sitter. She also helped us with an unexpected errand of being on hand for the Uber courier when we needed help with that. Katy is great about communicating, which is very important to us, and she took very good care of our cats.”

About: I have had cats my entire life and have extensive experience caring for them through all stages of life. Growing up with cats taught me the importance of understanding their individual personalities, routines, and needs. In my adult life, I have had two cats of my own. One of them I raised from a kitten and cared for throughout his entire life until he was 13 years old. This experience gave me firsthand knowledge of kitten care, adult cat care, and the special attention and support senior cats need as they age. I am comfortable with daily feeding routines, litter box maintenance, administering medications when needed, and providing companionship while respecting each cat's unique temperament. Having lived with and cared for cats my whole life, I understand how important it is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for them.
“went home for the holidays and ashton was amazing at coming in and feeding my cat! very responsive and reliable! i felt like my cat was in perfect hands while i was away <3”

“Rhianna took great care of our very shy, skittish cat. He usually hides when new people enter the apartment. She was able to find him each day and even sent me pictures! I’m happy with the care she gave our cat, Toast!”

Whether your cat is playful, shy, senior, or requires medications and structure, they’ll get expert-level care and a calm, cat-savvy presence.

When Chrissie is with my dog, I know she is in the best hands! Chrissie is extremely reliable and trustworthy. We will continue to book with her :)”

About: Hello! My name is Victoria. I am 28 years old and currently an ICU nurse, with 5 years of previous emergency room experience with a deep love for animals. I bring a calm, attentive, and safety-focused approach to pet care—especially for dogs who need a little extra support. I’m comfortable administering medications (including injections), caring for senior dogs, and monitoring pets with medical or anxiety needs. If your dog has special routines or health concerns, you can trust they’ll be in capable hands. I know how important it is to feel at ease when leaving your pet, so I provide frequent updates, photos, and clear communication. My goal is for you to feel completely confident and your dog to feel completely at home. I have 3 dogs, Chester, Maverick, and Thor who have never met another pup they didnt like. My two older boys, Chester and Maverick, are content to lay around all day long if that is what your dog enjoys. However, I also have Thor, who is a year and a half and he loves to play with other dogs, but is also ready to settle down for a good nap at any time. Whether your pup needs a relaxing stay, structured care, or extra patience, I’d love to help! ✔ Medical experience (nurse background) ✔ Comfortable with medications & special needs ✔ Calm, reliable, detail-oriented care ✔ Great with puppies and senior dogs ✔ Frequent updates so you never have to worry I currently work 3 12 hour shifts a week so I have plenty of availability to take care of your pets. I make my own schedule as well, so I plenty of flexibility. I have a fenced in yard and three sweet boy pups to play with your babies! I also like to meet the pups ahead of time to ensure that everyone gets along well. However, we do have two extra bedrooms that can be a safe place if you’re a pup just needs a little time away from the boys.
About: I am open to caring for any and all pets. As someone who currently has 3 Great Pyrenees, an Austrian Kelpie puppy, and other pets, I am experienced in all areas and types. I have open availability to care for pets. I work for myself so build my schedule around jobs and appointments as needed. I am very flexible with accommodations so please reach out if you have any questions. I do not offer overnight in home care at the moment due to all of my pets at home but will gladly stay at your home with your pet. I can send pictures and videos of your pet to you and don't mind cameras in the home so you can drop in any time and see your fur and/or scaly baby.
About: I’ve got years of experience caring for dogs and cats. My favorite thing to do is take dogs (especially my own) out for adventures by taking advantage of this beautiful state we get to call home. I love to give dogs the best time when they’re with me whether that’s going out or staying in and their safety and comfortability is my top priority. I work part time on Thursday and Friday nights until the end of December. I have a very open schedule until the end of April. I do have a dog and two cats, so it would be best to board at the owners home vs my own, but I am ok with either. I am avid about getting quality outdoor time that goes beyond potty breaks. Clear instructions of your pets exact care requirements/expectations are important to me so that I can make sure your pet is getting their needs met.

“My husband and I were in town on vacation with our dog and she was having separation anxiety when we would leave her alone. So we booked with Sandra & she did awesome. Thank you again!”

“They are amazing I came down here to VA on vacation with my pup and I couldn’t leave him alone bc he cried and howled and I was afraid he would chew something at air bnb I found them on this app last min and they agreed to take him even though he clearly has some separation anxiety among other issues. “This family takes great care of our pup. When I pulled into the drive and Rosy recognized where we were, she was super excited! They love her and Rosy loves them right back!”

“Ellie G. is a great communicator with photo updates. The daycare day went well and Annie O was introduced to Ellie’s chickens and I’m sure she wanted to get a little closer but Ellie was great keeping Annie away from them. Annie also met Ellie’s dog and it appears that they both made a new friend. The day was a success.”

“Victor and Abigail were awesome and took extra steps to make sure our anxious pup had a great time. They sent us videos and pictures every day, which we really appreciated. After his first day in daycare, my dog was very excited to return on the following days. He seemed to really like the folks who took care of him and was nice and tired once I picked him up. Staying with these folks was definitely a mini vacation for my dog!”

“Ashton is fantastic! She took great care of my dog, Bumi, and sent me plenty of photo and video updates while I was at work. Her communication was quick and she was able to look after Bumi twice on very short notice over a holiday weekend! He had a great time with her dog as well, and I know Bumi is always well taken care of when he's with her.”

“I recently used Larrissa to walk my dogs , and I couldn't be happier with the experience! From the first interaction, it was clear they were professional and passionate about pets. **Communication:** They were very responsive to my inquiries and took the time to understand my dog's specific needs and routines. Even assisted me with using this app for the first. **Reliability:** My dog walker was always on time and even provided updates and pictures during walks, which made me feel reassured. **Care for My Dog:** My puppy dog, Banks is still getting to everything, but Larrissa handled him wonderfully. He came back happy and tired after the walk. I am watching the dogs now just snoozing on the cameras. **Flexibility:** They offered flexible scheduling options, accommodating my last-minute changes wit. Overall, I highly recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and loving care for their furry friend”

We have hands-on experience with: • Puppy training & socialization – helping young dogs learn basic commands, crate training, and good manners. • Senior dog care – providing extra patience, gentle handling, medication administration, and accommodations for mobility or health needs. • Multi-dog households – managing playtime, feeding schedules, and safe introductions so everyone gets along. • Special care needs – whether it’s dietary restrictions, anxiety management, or post-surgery recovery. Our goal is to give owners peace of mind knowing their furry friends are in experienced, caring hands. I’m home most of the time, except for quick grocery trips. I’ll be available to give your dog plenty of attention and care throughout the day. We keep your pups active during the day so they’re ready to settle in at night. Dogs usually sleep in their room with their own bed or blanket (if provided), which keeps them safe and cozy. We have a separate room to ensure they’re comfortable and relaxed. Feel free to message us with any questions—we’d love to make sure both you and your pup feel at ease!
About: Hi! I’m Gabby — a pre-veterinary Animal & Poultry Sciences student with years of hands-on experience caring for pets of all ages and needs. Animals are my whole life, and I treat every pet like my own. What sets me apart: • Shadowed veterinarians, gaining safe handling and health-monitoring skills • Experienced Golden Retriever breeder (whelping, neonatal care, tube feeding, CPR) • 3+ years of professional pet sitting with strong references • Puppy specialist — raising and training puppies is part of my daily life • Extensive senior & special-needs experience — I’ve cared for my own senior and special-needs pets, so I understand mobility support, slow routines, medication schedules, cognitive changes, anxiety, and gentle handling • Volunteer at my local animal society • Animal science & pre-vet coursework (behavior, nutrition, health, genetics) • Dog owner, so I value structure, safety, and emotional support I’m confident with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments — from energetic puppies to older pets who need extra patience and care. You’ll get reliable communication, detailed updates, and truly personalized attention. Your pet will be safe, loved, and treated with the same compassion I give my own. Excited to meet your pet! 💛🐾 ⭐ My Daily Routine Pets fit naturally into my day. I start with morning feeding, meds (if needed), and a potty break or litter refresh. I only have one class a day, so I’m home most of the time to give walks, playtime, enrichment, and supervision. Throughout the afternoon and evening, I’m with the pets—doing walks, cuddles, behavior reinforcement, and keeping their space clean and comfortable. At night, I do final potty breaks/litter care, give any meds, and settle pets into a calm routine. Your pet is with me nearly all day, getting consistent care, attention, and love. In Your Home: I follow your routines exactly—feeding, walks, meds, and crate or free-roam preferences. I keep doors locked, maintain a clean environment, and make sure pets always have fresh water, a safe space to relax, and enrichment throughout the day. I send regular updates and photos so you always know your pet is safe. In My Home: Pets have a clean, pet-proofed space with supervised indoor time, enrichment, cuddles, and frequent potty breaks. I use slow introductions, low-stress handling, and separate areas if needed for shy or senior pets. I monitor behavior and health closely and maintain a calm, positive environment. I treat every pet with the same care, structure, and attention I give my own animals. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and trust always come first.
About: I’ve taken care of a variety of personal and others’ pets from an early age. I’ve worked in a nature center taking care of wild animals, including birds of prey. I’ve always had a love of animals! My husband is active -duty Coast Guard and we moved back the the area in August of last year. I have availability throughout the week to accommodate a variety of needs. I look forward to creating personal care schedules to fit each families’ needs. For my home care, I offer multiple walks each day and my own well-behaved dog and cat for social needs. We are working on an enclosed backyard space for longer, free outdoor play time! Pickup and drop off service is possible. For client home care, I can be flexible, depending on the needs of the client.

About: I have experience with all animal types including dogs, cats, horses, livestock, birds, pocket pets and some reptiles. I am a licensed vet tech so I am also comfortable medicating animals that need it. I have 7 dogs and 3 cats, all of which are friendly with other animals. I will treat your pets as if they are my own no matter if they are being boarded or just going for a walk. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding your pets and their needs while you are working, vacationing, etc. I can care for pets early before work, mid-day and late after work. On weekends my schedule can be more flexible depending on what activities I have going on. Any dogs that come into my home will be treated as if they were my own. I have a fenced backyard for the dogs to play in. Boarding dogs will have their own room to hang out in.
About: I have grown up with animals my whole life and have 5 years of experience working with animals in a shelter and an Animal Rehabilitation. I am available any day and night to take care of your pets. I work at a Veterinary Clinic in Stafford and I receive hour lunches occasionally to give me time to check in on your pets. I am unable to board, but when housesitting, your pets will have my full undivided attention to make sure they are staying safe and happy. On walks I will keep them away from other dogs and allow them to enjoy the fresh air on leash.
About: I believe this is an excellent way to incorporate my love for animals, and making money in my spare time. I can guarantee your pet’s safety and that he or she will get lots of love while they stay. My husband and I have two children. We live on 6 acres of land and I stay home. Your furry friend will be treated like one of ours. I will keep open communication with you throughout the duration of their stay, and ensure that your worries are at ease. I am a full time caregiver who works from home and will be home 24 hours a day. This will ensure that your pet is well looked after. I have an open yard and can take your pet on walks. We have a puppy who is 6 months old who can keep your fur baby company or be kept separate if needed.
About: I've taken care of animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to chickens, ducks, and goats, since I was 13. In my senior year of high school, I took a veterinary science class where I did check-ups and grooming on all sorts of animals. (Dogs, cats, bunnies, guinea pigs, etc.) I feed, walk, and medicate animals for coworkers, family, and friends just about everytime I'm home from school! I plan on working part-time, so I will have limited times during the day to walk your dogs, but I will have plenty of time to go over and feed, medicate, play, empty litter, etc., after or before my shifts! We've got a super big yard, so plenty of room to run around and play. My doggies at home use an electric fence, but I'm used to walking other dogs on a leash, no problem! Additionally, my pups get along well with other dogs, so no issues in regard to company and territory!
“Candace did a FABULOUS job with our dogs, Banks and Brix. She was in constant communication with us and sent pictures so we could see they were having a good time and being well taken care of. Two thumbs up for Candace!”

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals cats, dogs, fish, and even plants! I love to help my friends, family, and more with walking their dog, feeding their cat, or watering plants! I work only a few days a week because I’m a stay at home mother so I would give your pup all my love. I’m available during the week from 11am - 8pm. I take my dogs on walks as well as play fetch at least once a day! I feed them twice a day and let them out every 2-3 hours. If i dog/cat sit for someone I go to their house 2 times a day to feed, walk, or whatever else I’m instructed to do.
About: As a special education teacher, I bring patience, consistency, and strong communication skills to every pet I care for. I previously owned a pit bull named Belle who had social anxiety around other dogs, which taught me how to recognize stress signals, manage walks safely, and adapt to a dog’s individual needs. I’m comfortable working with dogs that require extra patience, structure, or a calm approach, and I prioritize safety, reliability, and positive experiences for both pets and their owners. Having the summers off, I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time throughout the week to pet care. Daily walks and outdoor activity have long been part of my routine from caring for my previous dog, Belle, a pit bull who thrived on consistency and regular exercise. Pet care fits naturally into my schedule, and I enjoy providing pets with the attention, companionship, and activity they need while their owners are away. I have the flexibility to provide attentive care and spend quality time with pets throughout the day. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make an effort to learn their preferences, favorite activities, and household rules so they feel comfortable while their owners are away. My dog Belle, a pit bull, was very much a member of the family, so I understand how important it is to treat pets with the same level of care and respect. I’m also firmly in the “dogs belong on furniture” camp, so I understand that pets are family members and should be treated with love, respect, and affection. I’m happy to provide plenty of affection, playtime, and companionship along with meeting their daily needs.

“Sandra and her family are great! Both of our dogs instantly felt comfortable with them and so did we. We found Sandra to be patient and kind to our boys and had no doubt they were in goods hands while we were away. She checked in with us often to let us know how they were doing. Great job Sandra!”

“Wonderful with the pups and great with communication. Sent me photos multiple times a day to ensure my doggies were being loved and taken care of. Very friendly and accommodating and so easy to work with. They adjusted their schedule to my changing plans.”

“Jen was great with our super skiddish dog who doesn’t have much experience with other animals or people but Jen ensured she would do great! I got pics everyday and she’s so quick to respond! Definitely rebooking with her in the future!”

Top notch!”

“Brittany was able to answer many questions and provide a meet and greet prior to watching Bean. I had already met with 5 other sitters who weren't the right fit. Brittany came prepared to also ask me questions to Better understand how to best care for Bean. Lima Bean had a great stay even with thunderstorms present which causes her the most anxiety. She was spoiled and even came home with a cute Bandana. Brittany understood how important it was for me to receive multiple updates a day that encompassed pictures. This eased my mind that she was doing well. I would definitely recommend Brittany due to her pet knowledge and friendly personality.”

“Our dog Lulu had a blast and was well cared for with Ellie! She was very proactive about getting all the details to make sure she was at home, and she had so much fun playing with her dogs! We would recommend her to anyone and ask to board with her again!”
