“Very highly recommended! Chantal and her husband were great caretakers for our two dogs for a week’s time — even more than we could have expected. They have a beautiful, spacious, safe place — both indoors and for when they had to go outside. My husband and I felt 100% comfortable leaving them there while we were away. From the beginning during our meet-and-greet through pick-up at the end of our trip, we saw just how kind and calm they were, treating our dogs just like their own dog and providing lots of interaction and play. Also, Chantal was extremely accommodating of our 7 month old puppy’s “puppy behavior” and attentive to the need to go outside more frequently. She provided updates every day (and was very responsive to other questions) and we could see just how relaxed our pups were, as if they were staying with family. We are definitely planning on using Chantal’s services the next time we need to go out of town.”

About: I’ve taken care of a verity of pets and owned anything from fish, Reptiles, Rodents, Cats, and Dogs. I can also do additional tasks such as cleaning and plant care. I am versatile and can stay at the house or commute. I am also experienced at giving medications to animals as well. Feel free to ask me any questions regarding the sitting or my experience related to pet sitting. I can let sit anytime before/after classes. I’m am currently attending Liberty University and am taking classes throughout the week. Feel free to ask any questions related to the schedule. I make sure that the animals are comfortable, fed, and refreshed before resting. If I am eating at the place I’m house sitting I make sure the animals are fed before I eat (also makes it easier to avoid prying eyes watching me while I eat). Before I end the day I make sure everything is done and that the house is secure. Before the owners come back I make sure to clean and wash everything (if the owners don’t mind me doing this).

My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. About: As someone who was raised on a fully functioning farm, animal husbandry has been a part of my daily routine since I could walk! I have experience with almost every domestic animal under the sun, but dogs and cats have always been very personal to me. About: I’ve owned dogs my entire life. From housetraining puppies to caring for aging senior dogs, I have experience with a range of personalities/quirks and am very comfortable with large or hyperactive dogs and rescues. My older Beagle, who I cared for for more than 13 years, had a seizure disorder and in the final months of her life, we administered IV sub-Q fluids to her every 2-3 days, so I have experience with caring for pups with medical needs and I can administer medication. I also have 5 years of experience volunteering in a high-volume animal shelter, working predominantly with large dogs, so I understand how animals might behave when they are in a stressful environment and interacting with an unfamiliar person. What you can expect: — Time outdoors, playing or on leashed walks — Cuddles and belly rubs — Lots of (approved) treats — Every effort to stick to your pet’s routine and establish clear boundaries! I can provide in-home doggy day care and boarding with a prior meet and greet* if your dog gets along with the two dogs in our home. Your pup will never be left alone with my dogs when I’m providing doggy day care or boarding, so I do require them to be crate-trained for overnight stays. I work full-time from home during the week but have a very flexible schedule. I can provide morning walks, drop in visits and afternoon playtime before lots of attention in the evening. My partner is also home most days and our 15-year-old stepson is home in the afternoons and evenings (and weekends), though he is not involved in any animal care. I can board one to two dogs (from the same household) in my home if they are crate-trained, but a meet and greet is required beforehand. They will not be left alone in my home with my pups unattended. I am available for drop-in visits and some housesitting.
