About: i have experience in very large dogs to small dogs, including puppies and training skills for puppies and I even trained my own service dog. i am working part time a few days a week in the mornings i’m mostly off at 1:30 but sometimes 4pm. i am available on saturdays between 1pm and 3pm. some saturdays i wont be available. and i’m not available as of now pass 9pm. will be looking in to started doggy daycare and boarding but that will be in the future. i have grown up with dogs all my life i had Rottweilers at a very young age and learned quickly about how to tell what their boundaries are. I take my dog out to use the bathroom very frequently at least every three hours. My dog that I have now is a service animal that I have trained myself for myself. I am not a professional dog trainer, but I do have experience in training my dog myself.

I have a good amount of experience with animals; I have been around animals my whole life, my grandfather was a veterinarian, and I have been pet sitting since high school. I am able to come by and/or sit after work. I am available on weekends full time! I have an unfenced yard but it’s big and great for running around and play time! “Katie was more than amazing! I have left our Doberman, Roxy, at various kennels, and other Rover sitters, but Roxy would seem anxious or would get sick after I picked her up from those places. Not with Katie! I felt that our furry friend was with family. It was clear that our naturally anxious dog has made a friend. She seemed happy and content and although she was excited to see me, she was not anxious or rushing to leave Katie's place. Katie sent many pictures and videos and it was clear that Roxy was being treated like Katie's own dog. I will be using Katie again. I recommend her wholeheartedly.”
“Best. Sitter. EVER. I've tried and been happy (or not) with many boarders, but Jody goes way above and beyond. She's not just knowledgeable and reassuring, she's sweet and kind and will love your fur babies for you. I live in Roanoke, whereas she's in Moneta. But this was such a blessing!! I wanted somewhere Harriet could run and play and feel free and happy. Jody delivers this in a big way- she has several yards of varying sizes with over animals to play with. I kept telling my girl she was going to summer camp, and it turned out to be so true. I don't think she even missed me that much! Please don't let the distance deter you. Jody even offers pickup and drop off services. Harriet gets so anxious going to a boarder's house, but as soon as Jody pulled up, Harriet started wagging her tail and jumped right in her car before I could say goodbye. She's with the dogs all the time- you won't be leaving your pup with someone who leaves them alone. Harriet is very social, and I can tell from just the pictures and videos that her physical, mental, and emotional needs are being met in every way. Please seriously consider Jody- she's phenomenal. I don't really want to tell you this because I want to keep her all to myself, but that would be a gross injustice. She's the best. I won't even consider anyone else again- I'll just move my vacation plans around.”

About: I've always had pets growing up as a child, most being rescues from the neighborhood. My passion and love for animals has grown into my adulthood making me a very enthusiastic animal lover who desires to help all different types of animals. My experience in pet care varies from having pets of my own, watching and caring for friends and families pets and currently, my job working with dogs at a Peaks View Animal Hospital! I have cared for pets of all ages. Including bottle feeding kittens and puppies to giving medication to senior pets. I am currently working a part time job at Peaks View Animal Hospital. I would have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! I would be available for boarding Thursday-Sunday! I am also available for drop ins and walks Thursday-Sunday as well! I live in downtown Lynchburg and have an outdoor terrace available for your pups to sunbathe and play. I also live close enough to the trails to take your pups on nice shady walks! If your pet needs to be crated, I also have an XL crate available for use at my home!
