About: I’ve been taking care of my own pets for nearly 15 years! In this timeframe I have had everything from a rabbit, to a Pac-Man frog, to a tarantula to my current dog, cats and chickens. I am currently working part time so I will have a ton of availability and will keep my schedule as up to date as possible! I have a fenced back yard as well as a baby pool specifically for my pup. I let my own dog out every two hours and usually take him on an extended walk in the afternoon. We knew our senior dog Ginger would likely be stressed: 1st from the trip, and 2nd to be left with a stranger, in an unfamiliar environment. Linda really seems to love the dogs, she had 1-2 fosters there when we arrived (not sure, as I think I only saw 1). While I'm sure it was hard on both of them, we do sincerely appreciate her taking on our dog for a few hours, so that we could attend the wedding of an old family friend. About: Everyone calls me when they need a reliable and dedicated pair of hands to watch over their children. Yes, I treat every dog like a furry child. I've helped raise dogs from 6 weeks to 16 years old. The young and the old need a little more attention and I'm happy to help. Those terrible 2's just need extra attention, and I'm happy to provide that too! I love all animals and will probably treat the kids like royalty. I prefer the company of dogs than my friends, they could vouch for that! I'm both loving and also stern because I've raised both labs and pitties. They require different types of parenting techniques, and I am equipped to handle anything. I work full time, Monday through Friday, 9 to 5. I'm happy to use my work breaks to check on animals for those who need the extra attention. My availability will be based around my work and my 2 kiddos at home. I can adjust weekly routines to incorporate pickup/drop offs, stop in visits, after work walks, or overnight stays. I treat dogs like they are our kids. I talk to them, I cuddle with them, and I use positive reinforcement to train good habits. I've helped raise a dozen dogs and each dog likes to show you how they like to be treated. I learned this lesson the hard way when I was raising dogs and had to learn different techniques to train each of them individually. Labs learn and function much different than bulldogs and pitbulls. I treat each dog the same regardless of size or attitude. Though I may give them some attitude when mouth off, like I do with my pitty at home (lol). I'm a safety first kind of person when it comes to our kids. So I tend to lean on the side of caution and extra equipment when interacting with most dogs. I always keep extra dogs supplies in my truck at all times as I have been known to that guy who stops traffic to try to rescue a dog. I've done this probably 6 or 7 times.

I have a fenced yard which includes a small separately fenced area on the main level to give them a secure out time several times a day with no stairs. I have four small friendly dogs that are used to being around other dogs as they compete in various performance sports.

About: I have lots of experience with dogs, cats, birds, lizards, guinea pigs, and more! I have owned them my whole life for one. But I have also worked at a pet lodge for a year from 2024-2025. As well as doing lots of miscellaneous dog sitting for others. I am a special education teacher and love animals! I would love to watch your fur babies over the weekend when I am not at school or during any holidays! If you need someone for over the school week, your pet would need to be ok with being alone for 9 hours. This doesn’t include travel time depending on where you live. “If you're ever looking for a place for your fur kids to stay while you go out of town, I highly recommend Laura. I have 2 neurotic cats; 1 has CH that does not like getting confined in crates/small place and the other is spicy/moody. The stay was short with a (somewhat) unusual request, but Laura took them all in stride and went the extra mile to look after Sam and Cloud. Definitely one of my best rover experience and would not hesitate to ask her again in the future.”
