“I can't say enough great things about both of my pups experience w/ Paula. I was so nervous leaving my Jack w/ anyone, as he is quite the bundle of energy. My older sweet girl (Shephard mix) can be timid and nervous, especially around other dogs. They both took to Paula instantly and came home safe, smiling, and exhausted from all the exercise they had between Paula's backyard setup and their pack of playmates. Paula is a great communicator, and sent plenty of pictures and updates so that I never had to worry about how they were doing. This stay allowed me to travel to my daughter on very short notice, and I will be reaching out to Paula first for any travel or boarding needs in the future.”

We will be sure to keep your pup entertained and a great way to get exercise and affection while you’re away! If you have an older dog, I can offer one on one snuggle time and a calm relaxing environment separate from the other pups. We have 2 acres and enjoy outside playtime. We frequent the dog park in Louisa and hiking trails from Richmond to Charlottesville. Common treats are homemade chicken jerky and sardines. Please let me know if your pup is not on a tick preventative. We treat our yard with a dog safe spray but enjoy recreational activities away from home and would like to be extra cautious for your fur baby. I have full weekday and have full weekend availability! We enjoy going on walks in our neighborhood or the park close by early in the morning and late at night before it gets too hot. Depending on your pup’s age, younger ones will have tater and goose to play with. Older/calmer pups will stay with Winnie and I in a separated part of the house. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. About: I’ve been around all kinds of dogs, from small to big, untrained to well trained, and i absolutely love helping and working along side of other people and their fur babies. She has since gotten older so I have experience with a senior dog and giving any sorts of medication (and the peanut butter necessary to get her to take it). About: My husband and I have a 7 year old German short haired pointer and a 10 year old Wheaten Terrier/King Charles Spaniel mix. They are both friendly with other dogs. They have free range of the house other than our living room couch. We have an Invisible fence brand around our yard and we live in a cul-da-sac in our neighborhood, which is also great for walks. I have taken care of my parents dogs when they are out of town and have stayed at many client’s homes the past several years to care for their dogs while they are on vacation. I would feed them twice a day and give potty breaks before and after work. Now I am a stay at home mom with my newborn daughter, so my schedule is flexible for walks, potty breaks, etc. I love spending time with dogs, whether it's outside playing or cuddling in the house. I have given my dogs medication to swallow when prescribed by their veterinarian as well as cleaning out their ears every 2-3 times a week for normal hygiene. I will follow all duties assigned to me to care for your pet. I am a stay at home mom with my newborn so my schedule is extremely flexible for feedings, walks, potty breaks, drop-ins, play times, day care, etc I will provide feedings, potty breaks, walks, inside/outside activities as needed/wanted per your request. We live in a cul-de-sac in our neighborhood which is great for walking, plus an Invisible fence around our wooded yard, which is great for playing fetch. Dogs are welcome to freely roam inside the home, other than on the living room couch.
